OMG YES! Wish we had a O Gambuzino in The Netherlands :) - Edit
Well this sets the bar for a restaurant experience. It was SO good!
Read moreThe King Oyster scallops and the sweet and sour cauliflower were a great way to start the dinner. Then we had the polenta with celeriac fillet as a main, as well as the panko battered tofu with local quinoa. Men.. it was all delicious and special!
I'm so annoyed that there is so much muah/average food out there while food can be as memorable as it was at O Gabuzino. Thank you for this experience.
The miso salted caramel cheesecake was fantastic. So inspiring!
Pros: inspiring, delicious, great value for money

Phenomenal food - Edit
This was some of the best food I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I got the pani puri with fermented gazpacho, the bibimbap, and the panna cotta. I also got the hibiscus gin fizz cocktail (with aquafaba!). The pani puri were just perfect. The bibimbap was so fresh and full of flavour. The panna cotta was light and really nice with the crispy pistachios on the side. Actually I thought the panna cotta could have had an even creamier texture (it was made from coconut). Overall, this place was fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Stunning experience - Edit
I had high expectations on this place after been reading really good reviews about this place. And they were all met! Nice environment, fantastic flavors and combination. One of the best dishes I’ve eaten (bibimbap) and the best dessert I’ve ever eaten (cheesecake). We had some starters that were very good as well. Amazing experience and will definitely come back!

The joy of an open kitchen - Edit
I love an open kitchen, normally it allows me to trust a restaurant, on this occasion it allowed me to enjoy it .
Read moreThe delightful spectacle of skilled chefs weaving a tapestry of enticing aromas captivated my senses, compelling me to savor every moment. The oyster mushroom tacos initiated a flavor symphony that left me craving more, while the Gado Gado, infused with bold Asian flavors and generous portions of tempeh, elevated the dining experience. This establishment stands as a culinary gem in Lisbon, a must-visit that seamlessly blends gastronomic excellence with a vibrant atmosphere.

Really really good - Edit
We booked a table one day in advance and went to O Gambuzino for dinner on a Saturday night. We expected something great and we were not disappointed! We got a couple or starters (algarvian carrots and mushroom "vieiras"), both fantastic, and then one main dish each (one sea-flavoured, and one with home made tempeh). I would recommend the tempeh wholeheartedly.
Read moreAlso, the kombucha (made with orange and carrot) is very good!
The thing I liked the least was the cheesecake. Not bad by any means, but the rest was superior!

Delicious, Beautiful and Good Service - Edit
We loved the food, it looked like eating in a 3 star michellin restaurant and tasted just as good. The service was very friendly and the prices very fair. We will definitely come back!

Amazing! - Edit
Our dinner at O Gambuzino was truly amazing! We chose the kimchi as a starter, which was a great choice. We had the dish Gado Gado and the tempeh was one of the best we ever had. Also, the desert Coco Cotta with a hibiscus gel, pear and pistachio and was heaven! They have an outside and inside area and friendly stuff. We also got coupons for a free desert, if we come before before 7pm next time. They also have some interesting interior design details like this use jars with fermented food and some small art pieces. When you sit inside, you can see how the chefs prepare the food. We will come again for sure.

Can't remember eating better than this - Edit
We ate here early in the evening before a concert. The service was both friendly and snappy, and it meant that we could eat promptly and get to our concert without being rushed. And the food was awesome.
Read moreMy husband and I used to own a soyfoods factory, so we know what we're eating. This was the good stuff. They make their own tempeh inhouse, with black beans and peanuts. Amazing stuff. I had gado-gado and my husband had bi-bim-bop. We recommend both dishes highly.
I could go on, but you get the message. Stop reading this review and go eat there.

Fantastic food, wonderful staff - Edit
Heard about this restaurant in all the vegan blogs and loads of TikToks that I watched in preparation for my trip to Lisbon, so knew it was a must-visit place! The staff were simply fantastic and made it such a lovely experience. We unexpectedly arrived early and had booked to sit outside, but unfortunately it was raining. They found us seats undercover out of the rain even though we were early (and happy to wait). The food was great and so very reasonably priced for what you get. Very tasty and extremely Instagram-friendly! We had the Pani Puri Gaspacho to start which was packed with flavour and a great novelty eating experience. For mains we shared two starters; ‘scallops’ made from oyster mushrooms and the gochujang cauliflower, and one main dish, the Gado Gado. All dishes were exquisitely presented and had balanced, powerful flavours. Unfortunately my sister became ill and we had to cut our meal short but the waiting staff were so brilliant at getting our bill quickly and giving us takeaway containers for the leftover food and a dessert (the sneaky slice, which was just as nice the next day!)

Good experience - Edit
We ate inside and the food was very good. Beetroot and walnut pate starter was really more like hummus dip in texture, but tastey. Bibimbap main very good, kimchi was excellent. Broad bean falafel main very good. Shared a panacotta dessert which was a bit bland and overly rose watered, but the caramelised pistachios accompanying it were addictive! All in all a very god meal with good service. Oh, the homemade ginger beer is out of this world good! Recommended and friendly service.

Another lovely vegan discovery in Lissabon. I had the nicest waiter. She recommended the oyster mushroom “scallops” and the gado gado with homemade tempeh of black beans and peanuts. Very much enjoyed the flavours. Sadly enough I didn’t had any room left for a dessert, but was offered the Amarguinha liquor which was very nice. Go there, you won’t regret it !

Delicious food and some nice afterdinner tea options - Edit
The food was amazing. We were seated next to the kitchen and you could see the effort put into every dish. To start we had the cauliflower, which was very nice and already quite a good starter for two people. For main we had the tofu and the homemade tempeh. Both unique dishes and incredible taste. After dinner you can choose to make your own tea combination from a list with dufferent flavours. Good way to end the evening!

The astetic is so relevant i want to put it first. The food is so fancy and good. We had the tofu katsu and the bibimbap. They are not afraid to mix between different cultures and create whole new dishes. I can recomend. A bit on the pricy side of food in lisbon.

Stern.

Vegan food heaven - Edit
This place was great. Had the oyster mushroom and yellow beetroot lettuce tacos which was probably the dish of the night, even if I couldn't pick out the beetroot. Also had the sweet and sour cauliflower as a 2nd starter which was tasty but not anything special. Bimimbap main again not bad. It came with a vegan egg yolk which looked the business but didn't really taste of much. Rose and coconut pannacotta tasted better the more I ate, though not quite the texture of a traditional pannacotta. Would definitely recommend but make sure you book

Locale informale e giovane, ma con piatti che fanno concorrenza a quelli di chef stellati!
