Cute Plant Based cafe - Edit
I have been to the Richmond location many years ago but this is my first time at the Hyde Street location, I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday and I had the frittata sandwich and she had the bibimpop. The frittata was good and tasted like egg. My girlfriend felt the bibimpop was a little too much sauce that made it salty so ask for the sauce on the side. Thebibimpop could have been a little more creative with veggies maybe carrots and beets to add color. We also had matcha and chocolate chip cookie. My girlfriend thought the chocolate chip cookie was the best she ever had. I liked my matcha

Wish I had more time here. - Edit
Very happy to come across this place before leaving San Francisco. I ordered the “Frittara Sandwich” and “Veggie Burger”. The Frittara is just like any other avocado toast but what make it different is the type of bread, plant-base egg, and a more traditional flavoring style (simple but better). Never had the chance to eat the veggie burger because I give it away to a homeless man in need.

It was okay - Edit
I had the Golden Gate Bowl and their bowls are way too big. It would be nicer if they made the servings a little smaller and the price also a little lower. The Tofu was very plain and there was nearly no sauce in the bowl. Also no seasoning I guess. They brought the bowls outside and told us that we can get a fork inside. It would be nice if they just bring it with the bowl... The bowls were not really our taste sadly... I seasoned the leftovers then it was okay.

Great breakfast - Edit
Even in a "progressive" city like San Francisco, a vegan breakfast is hard to find. This little gem was a nice surprise. The breakfast sandwich, featuring Just Egg, was delicious (though the thin portion of egg got a little lost in the sandwich) and the oat latte was also very good. I prefer soy milk, which they don't serve, but this was the best oat latte I've ever had.

Breakfast for the win! - Edit
So happy i found this place! Having breakfast is the most challenging thing for a vegan when traveling and this place saved my trip! Waffle was amazing, coffee is delicious! My partner and i bought the “Tuna” sandwich to have for lunch at the park and at least 2 people commented on how great our food looked! Btw the taste of this tuna sandwich exceeded my expectations !

Highlight of my Sanfran trip! - Edit
Extensive, healthy menu with tons of gluten free options. Super impressed with how wellness oriented this place is. I was so excited I ordered two breakfasts— two coffees, two entrees, three different treats! And I loved it all! Will be stopping here the next time I’m in town.

Healthy Nourishing Flavorful Vegan Cuisine - Edit
I recently went to Nourish Cafe for take-out with a friend. There was limited outdoor seating yet it was lunchtime and the sun was super hot blazing outside and the only seats in the shade were already taken.
Read moreNourish Cafe is all vegan and plant based. I have been vegan for 22 years now. I am surprised that I never went to either of the Nourish Cafes in the City yet as most have overlooked them.
I went with the Nourish Bowl that came with quinoa, yams, avocado, sprouts, hummus, cucumber, mixed greens, tomatoes, beet sauerkraut, sunflower seeds, and an oil-free creamy dill hemp dressing. I had vegan tuna added to it. It was all quite alright. I found hearty, healthy, and flavorful. The menu is quite diverse from handhelds to smoothies to soups to bowls to hearty wholesome baked goods to raw desserts.
The staff was friendly. I look forward to coming back here to try more of the menu.

A favorite - Edit
I love Nourish Cafe. Their salad bowls and baked goods are delicious and filling. I eat here often and will continue to do so but I am a bit disappointed that every time I order an açaí bowl, there is always bits of plastic inside the bowl. This happened to me at home the other day too when I was making a smoothie and must have accidentally put in a piece of plastic I cut off from the açaí pack, so I know it can easily happen but Nourish Cafe staff seem to accidentally put plastic in there every time. I’ve ordered 4 açaí bowls from them over a few months and everything I’m taking chunks of plastic out.
Read moreAlso, over the years, the majority of the time I order extra dressing on the side or extra avocado, they charge me for it but then don’t add it to the food.
Pros: Amazing veggie bowls
Cons: They don’t pay attention to special requests, There is often plastic in açaí bowls

Get the Waffle for a Deal! - Edit
People complain about how much the bowls are, but for $9 you can get the Waffle which gives you a very rich half of a belgian waffle, just egg, and tofu. I was full for HOURS off that meal so its definitely the best deal, and you get to try numerous things! I will say the Just Egg wasn’t great, and I asked for sriracha which would have been another $1!! Not worth that but otherwise so good. I also got the chai tea latte which was phenomenal. Go here!

Great low glycemic food options - Edit
There is a variety of items to choose for dietary needs and many of the food items use low glycemic ingredients, I got the quinoa and almond flour waffle sweetened with coconut sugar, it was somewhat dense but otherwise was delicious. Wish I would have gotten a dessert because they looked tasty!
