Healthy & delicious food, service just ok - Edit
Stopped here on the way out of town & I’d definitely be a regular if I lived in the neighborhood.

Biggest bowls you'll ever eat 😋 - Edit
Nourish Cafe has the biggest bowls you'll ever eat, and they're so worth it. I had the Golden Gate bowl with marinated tofu and now I wish I could have it for every meal. The bowls are definitely their top item and the first thing to try when you come here. The portions for a lot of their items are HUGE. Even the chocolate chip cookie was large and almost an inch thick.
Read moreEverything tasted so fresh, I like that they limit their use of oil while maintaining such delicious flavor. The veggie pizza with Kite Hill ricotta was hearty and healthy and I was pleased with their raw dessert options. For raw dessert I recommend the Lemon Probiotic Square!
Pros: All vegan! 🌱💚, Raw desserts, Huge portions

Loved it - Edit
I unfortunately didnt take a picture of the awesome bowl I had but why? Because of 2 great reasons: 1st: my phone went flat and the stuff was so cute and helpful and charged my phone‘s battery behind the counter. 2nd: the sesting inside says no phone area which I think is a great reminder: soul food = slow food Let‘s pay more attention to our food, be more in the moment and enjoy all these flavours.
Read moreI can defo recommend the Nourish bowl
Loved the whole concept. And after exploring the city for the 1st time, this place gave me a great hideaway and recharge (double)
Also great: they do have a water fountain where you can get as much water as you need.
Tipp: ask for a real bowl out of ceramics. You don‘t need to use a single use bowl when you sit in. Take a break and enjoy a „slow food“ lifestyle

Small average sandwich - Edit
Frittata sandwich felt pretty small for the price ($15) and felt like it was missing something (maybe some more seasoning). Would also have expected some side salad. Nourish bowls looked much better (and larger)

Decent but not much flavor - Edit
Came in for brunch and we tried the quinoa waffle, savory brekkie bowl with tofu and the toast sampler (avocado chimichurri, Mediterranean and “lox” toasts). In general I liked this place but the red pepper sauce on the bowl was pretty bland. Not a lot of spice or seasoning. Could have used some hot sauce but all they had was sriracha and they charged a dollar. I’d have paid it if they had better hot sauces. Out of the toasts we tried I’d recommend the Mediterranean and “lox”. The Lox didn’t taste much like lox but it was good.

A bit bland - Edit
When you don’t use oil etc, you can definitely spice up the food with herbs and other elements. This seemed like a farmer’s lunch, but without produce.

The 1/2 waffle was fabulous but the “egg” and tofu were a little dry. I’m trying to figure how to change to four stars.

Nourishing! - Edit
So far I have only had the opportunity to try their baked goods. The blueberry muffin was massive and dense. So dense, in fact, the middle of the muffin was undercooked😡But because the base is a mix of oat and almond flour, it wasn’t gross like it would be if it was an undercooked wheat-based muffin. Also not too sweet, which I appreciate.
Read moreWe also tried the donuts. I asked for a chocolate with sprinkles to-go and was given a vanilla glazed one with…salt and cookie crumbles(??). I don’t actually know what flavor it was but of course didn’t realize their error until I got home. It was tasty, even if it is not what we ordered!
Pros: All vegan, Healthy eats

Great choices, tasty food - Edit
We enjoyed the food at Nourish Cafe, options were appealing and cooked well. Deserts looked good but tasted a bit like they were trying too hard to be healthy and not enough to be desert, especially the donut farm donuts. Good location - easy to get to on the cable car when sightseeing.

Excellent Pizza - Edit
I’m really blown away by this pizza. I’ve been to some places that are skimpy on the vegan cheese but this Veggie Pizza had AMPLE ricotta as well as mushrooms, pesto, and tomatoes. The pesto was aromatic and fresh. The oregano topping was the perfect finishing touch. Also love the cornmeal crust.

BEST VEGAN CAFE IN SF - Edit
Whilst on holiday in San Fransisco, this cafe became my mum and I’s favourite cafe. We visited multiple times on our trip and loved it every single time. The first time I had the weekend waffles; this was a plain quinoa waffle with banana and maple syrup. This was simple yet delicious and I loved it! My mum, on both occasions, had the avocado on toast and added mushrooms, she loved this too. On our final visit there I had the Hazelnut Banana Toast which was the highlight! So tasty and filling! I also tried some of their sweet treats. We tried two flavours of their muffins which were delicious! All of their sweet treats are HUGE! Their portion sizes are amazing at this place and everything is a reasonable price. Their menu is amazing and everything is homemade and healthy! It’s literally the best vegan food place; it has everything from breakfast, brunch, lunch and snacks, to the most amazing cookies and cakes! Staff are super friendly and the cafe is so cute inside. It’s a must visit if you’re in San Fransisco!

Only visited San Francisco for 2 days but went here twice because it was so good. All food is fresh and really really tasty, plus came fast even though place was busy. Decent size portions and cakes / muffins are huge. Muffin was dry and tasted healthy but the donuts and cookie were next level 👌
