It’s simple, immaculately clean with a lovely vibe.
The food was honestly outstanding. Fresh, home cooked and low waste.
We had tofu, quesadillas and sausage starters. The food was so tasty and unique. It was fun making the little wraps.
We had the 5 spice and peanut satay. It was beautifully fresh. Super super delicious. Tonnes of different herbs and special garnishes. Every bite was something new. We washed it down with homemade health mocktails.
The deserts felt like they should be Michelin starred! The tapioca was so creamy, never had a vegan desert like it. It just finished off our favourite meal on the island.
Pros: Friendliness of staff and kind vibe, Freshness and home cooked nature , Balancing penguins game

Great Inventive Vegan Options - Edit
This place was quite a find. It is tantalisingly close to being fully vegan, but not quite there, so is buried amongst many other not particularly tempting places on Happy Cow and other sites. We very nearly missed it.
Read moreHowever in an area where there is a surprising lack of fully vegan places this is a total standout. 80% of the menu is vegan, the food is delicious, service is friendly, and prices are reasonable.
We were very excited to see smoked tofu on the menu and ordered coconut crusted smoked tofu skewers with satay sauce for starters. Our wholewheat lemongrass noodles (again with smoked tofu) were also delicious, in fact some of the best noodles we have had in Thailand.
I wish we had found this place earlier and I cannot recommend it enough. Vegan options in many of the local tourist restaurants are often an afterthought or questionably vegan friendly. This was definitely not the case here. It may be a little off the main tourist strip but is definitely worth the effort.

Thanks for the glowing review which will certainly help with our placement. We appreciate your comments immensely and they reinforce that our plan to head 100% plant based is definitely do-able. It is a challenge in this peculiar market - mainly touristic and not having a substantial resident population. But we are learning all the time and will continue on the journey. We certainly believe tasty and exciting food can be created using only plant based ingredients and the more we all do this the more wonderful the options will become. Lots of vegan-friendly options - Edit
A little bit away from the busier nightlife, but we found Noodles Now to be well worth the walk.
Read morePleasant atmosphere with friendly staff, we both opted for the coconut crusted smoked tofu batons with peanut sauce to start, and we followed that with sticky lemongrass noodles with pan grilled smoked tofu. All delicious!
Their menu has a lot of plant-based/vegan-friendly options, although unfortunately they also serve some animal products, including chicken, fish and egg. Nonetheless, I would recommend this place - hoping more vegan clientele will help them make the shift to a fully vegan menu.
