Always great - Edit
Depends on your taste. This place focuses mostly on meat substitutes rather than loads of veggies. I like it just fine and when in Phuket it is my evening meal place to go. The large family who runs the place are very friendly and many local people eat there. Update - Still open. I haven't eaten there in years but just letting you know its open haha. I cook at home in evenings but if I needed to go eat outside at night that would be my place! Super friendly owner

Best Mock fried chicken I’ve ever had! Sweet family - Edit
We frequent this restaurant almost daily. Their food is so good and they have a lot of delicious Thai dishes. Everything is vegan! Their protein substitutes and mock meats are impressively good. The family that runs the restaurant is so sweet and they all work to maintain the restaurant. They always try to communicate despite not speaking a lot of English. Aside from the delicious food, the prices are so good!!! We often get 4-5 plates for around 180฿.
Read moreSeriously a gem if you are in Phuket and our all time fave spot.
My personal fave dishes: Thai fried rice, Chinese Kale dish, Massaman curry, Vegetable Pancakes and my all time favorite is their mock fried chicken.
It’s not the most aesthetic place and if western standards of cleanliness are a big deal for you, it might be a little surprising. It’s not a fancy bougie restaurant so don’t expect that😄it’s a typical small Thai restaurant. We absolutely love it!
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious food , Cheap prices

Another favourite for Thai food in Phuket town - Edit
I've eaten here many times and it's very nice and fantastic prices. The first time I had ginger with mock meat chicken, it was so good that pretty much every time I returned I would have the ginger dish with either chicken or one of the other mock meats such as duck.
Read moreThe deep fried chicken breast is amazing. My girlfriend almost always has the green curry which is one of her favourites. there is a coconut chicken soup that we had when we got a takeaway delivery from there, It's not on the menu but we also asked for it when in the restaurant because it was so nice.
They also have very nice dumplings.

Yum and affordable - Edit
Really well priced and a good assortment of mock meats. Big menu too!! Unlike many places where you don’t get a lot of protein in their vegan dishes, each meal felt like a very complete dish with carbs, veg and protein. They also do home delivery in the area which I capitalised on.

I expected something better - Edit
As I read the previous comments I felt it was going to be a much better place, but I guess I just chose the wrong dishes (green soup -not really tasty- and vegetable pancakes -really oily-). I saw other dishes in other tables later and they seemed to be way much better.
Read moreIt is run by an adorable family and they gave me the English menu with pictures of the dishes. I would go back again, but choosing other dishes.
Pros: Lot of options, Friendly staff, Menu available in English with pictures.
Cons: I think I chose wrong., Not sure it was completely vegan, just vegetarian.

Good food, amazing service, not so great atmosphere - Edit
In search of some vegan food in Old Town Phuket we reached here after finding 4 other vegan restaurants closed after they ran out of food on Satun Road.
Read moreThe place is unlike any restaurants you may have ever been. The structure looks temporary but has been there since many years. A 10-12 year old checks us in and gives us a menu. An extensive menu, I must say with most dishes also had pictures.
We order a Papaya Salad, a Fried Rice and and a Pad Thai to start with. The papaya salad fresh and crunchy with peanuts and fresh bean sprouts. Yum. The Fried Rice and Pad Thai were good, however we enjoyed knowing that this was a vegan restaurant. Almost full with we couldn’t resist one more dish that was served on another table.
8 mini sticks of Satay served with warm peanut satay sauce - delicious.
The young guy was so efficient and and so courteous. His service was impeccable. He answered most of our questions in as much English he could muster.
We tipped him handsomely and was so happy. He went to his parents and showed off what he had earned.
A must go while in Old Phuket town. Discard the appearance of the hotel and just go. They also carry dried soy meats and stuff. I wish I could carry most of it back.

This place was amazing! The food is prepared warm and fresh, and everything was delicious. If you come here, you have to try the fried chicken- best fake meat I've ever tried! Would leave more stars if I could.

Nice gem - Edit
Really nice food. Prices run from 50-70 on the English menu. When you’re here you NEED to try the fried chicken breast if you’re into deep fried! My friend said it tastes more like pork though, but it was a thumbs up. The portions may be a bit small (at least when I took the noodles. Not when I had the rice). There’s usually a little boy serving you who knows english. They also have a small shop.

Awesome, cheap food. - Edit
The menu has a lot of options, and most of the meals are 40 or 50 baht. They have really good fake meat too. The pad thai was amazing. Served with veggies, fake meat, tofu, and crushed peanut. The food came 10 min after I ordered. Great family run restaurant, and I really recommend it!

Lifesaver - Edit
We arrived late in Phuket and it was 20:30 when we were ready to go out and eat. Almost all the places were closed and we were so hungry. We only had 20min left until this place would close so we hurried and found it still open! Lovely people, friendly kid who explained the menu and took our order. We had the green curry (SO GOOD), the Pad Thai and "chicken" fried breast. The last one was unbelievable and tasted exactly like deep fried chicken to me. For vegans who miss the taste of flesh, this is your place! Proves once again that we don't need animals at all.

Favourite vegan restaurant in Phuket - Edit
This is our favourite vegan place in Phuket. If you can get over the fact that it doesn't look like an aesthetically pleasing restaurant you'll have a great meal. It's a large Thai kitchen house, so the family that run it live there too. They don't speak great English so some people might think they come across as rude, try to use some Thai phrases and they appreciate it. We've been given free dishes by the old man on more than one occasion. Great place

Cheap vegan à la carte menu - Edit
Food is cheap and portions are modest. It’s nice if you’re tired of the local vegetarian buffets and you want to order a few plates of veganized local food. We saw a few comments complaining about the service, however, we saw locals writing down their orders and handing it to the kitchen so we assumed the place usually functions this way. They did however make the effort to come over and take our order which we appreciated.

tastes good! - Edit
Tin shed turned budget restaurant with great tasting food. The fried chicken was a little too realistic for my preference but I can't fault them for that. I can fault them for their rude service and tiny portion sizes though. Me and my partner both spoke polite Thai and we didn't even get a nod. The man actually walked off to cook when we hadn't finished our order too :/
Read moreHygiene looks fine to me. Sure the place is old and the walls are mouldy but it's a non enclosed building in the heat of Thailand. You can't expect too much from a budget restaurant. I enjoyed my meal but probably won't go out of my way to come back.
Pros: nice food, everything vegan
Cons: baby portion size, worst service I've experienced

Good vegan restaurant - Edit
Simple restaurant with common thai food, a lot of food with mock meat. Massaman curry was ok (will be perfect with big pieces of potato only). Fried dumplings, som tam and crispy mushrooms were ok too. No air-con, free water on a table, normal food.
Read moreThey use two prices for Thais and for Farangs. If you can read Thai language can see that prices in menu are different 10-20 baht. They give special English menu for foreigners where price starts from 50 baht.

We ate for two people and then some! - Edit
Food was great... Asian proportions, we ordered about 6 dishes for the 2 of us. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the Thai Sausage... had an odd (almost moldy) taste to it. Mass man curry, morning glory, spring rolls, mixed veg with tvp, etc.... all were delish! small grocery store at the front. Staff warmed up to us once we kept on ordering food! Overall good food experince... kitchen appeared unclean (but non more than the average Thai food vendor)...

Cons: very little English, appears unhygienic
