Makes vegan Japanese food including udon noodles in different broths, plus fried vegetables on rice, and teishoku sets which include miso soup. Has cake and cookies. Japanese tea is served. German, English, and Japanese spoken. Open Tue-Fri 17:00-22:00, Sat-Sun 14:00-22:00. Kitchen closes 9:30pm.

I love udon and was so happy to find a place specialised at vegan udon! Only bummer was that I was looking forward to Tempura with my udon but they didn’t have any at the menu anymore apparently. Would definitely recommend.

Ich gehe sehr gerne ins Nobiko und es war immer sehr lecker. Man sollte vor dem Besuch reservieren, aber man kann auch zum Mitnehmen bestellen, falls man keinen Platz bekommt. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal!

Really good Udon noodles broths aswell as nice beveradges. Also some of them are selfmade (lemonade). Waiters are really friendly. Please book a table first because the place is pretty small. Prices very fair.

Haven't had a single bad experience at Nobiko. Having tried a variety of their dishes from traditional Udon over other sides and self made lemonade, to coffee, tea and cakes, everything was absolutely perfect and made with love and the finest ingredients.

I had the noodles with the veggie "ground meat" and soy milk. Such an explosion of flavor, I absolutely loved it!! The extra spicy seasoning they put on the table for you is super tasty as well and makes the food stand out even more. Everything tasted fresh and the flavors were well balanced. The perfect comfort food on a cold day!

Read moreWe really enjoyed our meals but agreed it wasn't exactly breathtaking. The broths were both really well made and definitely the highlight. The side dishes we got were underwhelming though, I could have done without it. Per recommendations here, we tried the tiramisu as well as donauwelle and they were both really good.
I loved the iced hojicha tea.
Maybe I'm spoiled with all the vegan restaurant options today and had too high expectations. But it was still really good and would happily go again.

This is the best vegan spot in Köln! The staff is amazing and the restaurant is super cute. They offer a variety of soups and starters (the kimchi is SO good) and have a winter and summer menu as well as changing specials like gyoza, mochi or daifuku. The noodles are handmade and they even grow some of the herbs and veggies themselves. You can also buy beautiful merch like posters and shirts and support this small business. I'd advise you to make a reservation beforehand as they have limited seating options outside.

It is a relatively small restaurant, in a small street. The Udon is very tasty. I had the number 1 kake Udon. It is a big portion, smelling and tasting great!

Es stimmt einfach: Richtig leckere und sehr vielfältige Auswahl an veganen Udon-Nudel-Gerichten. Bedienung war auch supenett. Und die Athmosphäre mit „linker Ästhetik“ ist einfach nur ideal: Überall tolle Plakate und Sticker. Weiterer Bonus: All Gender Toilette und eine Frauen* Toilette als Schutzraum. (Leider sind die Toiletten nicht mit dem Rollstuhl zugänglich.)

Had the mixed platter and the Red Tan Tan Udon. Fantastic broth, perfect Udon noodles. Everything is well-balanced and carefully prepared. Friendly service, fair prices. Best noodle place on the right bank of the Rhein.

Ich hatte Glück und habe ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch gekriegt. Ich würde aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen, zu reservieren. Die Portion war sehr groß und macht auf jeden Fall satt (ich bin eine gute Esserin! :)) Der Service war sehr nett und das Essen mega lecker. Meine Hündin Trudi durfte auch mit und hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt.

What a great little gem this place is... I had a few takeaways from here, mostly because trying to get a place there is virtually impossible. But that is because the place is simply amazing. The food is fresh, tastes clean and delicious and is both convenient, healthy and delicious. For me, one of their udon is perfect Sunday evening food!

Lovely place with a friendly atmosphere. Reserving in advance might be an advantage. The food is very tasty but my main concern is that it doesn't include much protein and I felt hungry soon after. It is also not that cheap, given that it doesn't really fill you up. Otherwise it's lovely.

What an unlikely spot for this place! I really loved the Udon Noodles - we had the Yaki and Golden Tan Tan Udon and a selection of side dishes and everything was just perfect. The waiter wasn’t too welcoming, but friendly enough. Will definitely come back!
