I completely love No Bones! - Edit
I have never been disappointed by this place. The food is delicious, they make great cocktails, the staff is truly lovely, and there is a wonderful ambience about the place. My favourites are the prawn tacos and the salt and pepper squid but there are so many great options. Highly recommend.

Great date night location for vegans and non vegans too - Edit
Went with my non-vegan partner for date night and she really enjoyed her jackfruit burger and fries and I really enjoyed my eggplant, bok choy and wild rice. Surprisingly filling for the size. Great drinks choices too for everyone.

The Best in Byron! - Edit
We loved this place so much, we came twice on our vacation. When we came back the second time, they had a mostly new menu. Everything we had was some of the best food we've ever eaten. The drinks are amazing and creative. You can create a cohesive multicourse meal with their menu. The calamari is insanely good. The staff are very friendly, and our food came out really quickly. One of our top dining experiences ever, absolutely worth the money.

So good we went two nights in a row! - Edit
We visited No Bones during our stay in Byron Bay, and it has to be one of the best vegan restaurants! We couldn’t work our way through the menu the first night so returned again! Majority of options were GF and a great place for a nice dinner spot in Byron Bay.

Pleasantly surprised at ambience and really great menu choices. We ordered the “prawn” tacos and “calamari” as starters they were the highlights and we had the mushroom ravioli and bolognese both were delicious

The best there is 🌟 - Edit
Hands down good food and wish they come to Sydney soon!
Read moreFavourites:
Calamari - made of konjac and by far the best there is. I’d even be brave enough to say it’s better than real squid
Carbonara - you won’t be able to tell it’s vegan, this is definitely a favourite comfort food.
Others:
Mushroom ravioli - if you love mushrooms this is joy
Ciabatta garlic bread - so buttery! Good with the carbonara
Gnocchi - macadamia pesto ❤️
Had the chick’n satay but probably won’t order again. Other great things on the menu.
Serving size for main is generous. Could easily do a starter or two and share the pasta between two
Pros: Great ambiance, Happy hour from 5-6 pm, $6 beers and house wines, Generous servings

Just the right vibe, a menu just the right size to have options but not too many they let the quality slip.

Unmissable - Edit
If I could give 6 stars I would! Some of the best vegan food I have ever had and great cocktails too. Very knowledgeable, charming, friendly and young staff (all under 30). Mostly young clientele which augers well for the future (I am 53!). Interestingly the external menu does not obviously state that the food is vegan. Walked past a couple of times before Happy Cow came to the rescue!!

Beautiful food - Edit
I had the vegan prawn taco as recommended on the reviews and at the first bite I understood why it has been recommended, it’s really good😄I also tried the garlic bread, it wouldn’t have been my choice if I’d been by myself but I was pleasantly surprised, it’s really nice and worth trying just the garlicky butter. I had the Oyster Mushrooms, it was really nice: several different vegetables cooked differently, all very tasty, on a celery very smooth mashed. The real con is that it’s quite expensive $28 for the main. My friend had the chili prawns which was apparently quite filling.

Delicious Food, Service suffered slightly - Edit
Apart from the Brussel sprouts, which were un-seasoned and covered in a strange cheese sauce, the food was delicious. Not a cheap option to eat out though.

So glad we found this place! - Edit
Such a beaut find in the middle of Byron Bay. Highlights include the the 'Calamari' accompanying sauce, the 'Duck' pancakes and the star of the show was the 'Prawn' tacos. The couple on a table next to us didn't even realise it was a vegan restaurant until they ordered dessert!

Best vegan place in Byron bay! Highly recommend Vegan prawn tacos are amazing! People behind us didn’t realise the place was vegan! Very friendly staff and quick service! Wish I could rate more than five stars! Loved every dish, had to get all the small plates between three of us so much lovely choice!

So Tasty - Edit
I had a special option of banana blossom marinated in seaweed and beer battered as ‘fish’ and chips with chilli jam and a dill tartar sauce which was AMAZING! I then went back a couple of nights later to sample some more of the menu and had konjac ‘calamari’ which was great especially as calamari used to be one of my favourite dishes and then I had the ‘duck’ pancakes which were so tasty and some really great flavoursome chips which are a huge portion and great for sharing! The staff were also super lovely and the cocktails were so good! I would definitely recommend whether you are vegan or not as everything tastes great!
