Sadly, Nishta was our least favorite restaurant during our whole trip to Croatia. We started with the crunchy cauliflower appetizer and, after tasting it, decided not to order entrées. The crunchy cauliflower wasn’t crunchy at all and needed more flavor. It looked pretty but the taste could be improved to match. We ended up walking a few steps away to a brand new vegan burger restaurant for entrées.

This has a great selection of vegan foods. You can have cooked and raw vegan so it caters for both. Plenty of GF options too!

Vegan restaurants in Croatia are rare so we always get excited to see one. The food served was good but not exciting. The cevapcici reminded us of spicy falafel but it was tasty.

Best vegan food in Dubrovnik - Edit
Nishta is literally the only vegan restaurant in Dubrovnik old town and it's excellent. We came here a couple of times during our holidays and we loved the food. I'd recommend booking before visiting since its always pretty busy and you might have to wait a couple hours if you show up without a reservation.

Best choice for vegans in Dubrovnik - Edit
The food was very tasty and there was a variety of options to choose from to cater to various tastes. For the price, the portions could be a little bigger. If you are used to bigger portions or feel suuuuuper hungry, this place is maybe not ideal. We still liked it very much though.

We had dinner with 4 at Nishta and loved it. The staff was very welcoming, the food was great, and the back streets of the old town make for a great atmosphere. We ended up buying their cookbook!

Visited this tiny place quite a while ago now & been meaning to leave a review. Another amazing place found on Happy Cow! Best to book ahead as it’s popular & it’s no surprise. Super friendly staff & amazing choice of divine food & drinks in a cosy setting in the old part of town. We sat outside with the cute local cat asleep under my seat 😻 good for watching the world go by and the people. Ate here a few times & each time was Fabulous 🤗💚

I had planned to write more after dining but it never got to this. Server was rude us moving a chair and so we voted with our feet....and we left. Menu wasn't great tbh with lots of raw food and pricey.

It is a very busy restaurant and unfortunately quite small, so we made a reservation and went back in 30 minutes. I liked the location, since there are nice old buildings surrounding it.

Read moreService was slow in the entire country, which isn’t a big deal, we weren’t in a rush, but at this place it was inconvenient.
We had made a reservation for our dinner and after 1.5h, the staff came to send us away because “other guests are coming so we need this table in 5 minutes”, while we were waiting for dessert. We were told we could have our dessert to go. We said polity that they could cancel the dessert, as we’d rather have it sitting down. Luckily the guests next to us were leaving, so their table was giving to the new guest and we could enjoy a dessert, but it was an odd situation.

Sitio muy acogedor. Siendo hoy en día la única opción en la ciudad vieja, no decepciona. Gente muy amable y servicial. No puedes irte sin probar sus Pakoras, deliciosas!! Nosotros hemos pedido, además de las Pakoras, el falafel wrap (una especialidad de la casa desde 2007) con un pan naan y hummus que realmente sorprende y Ćevapčići, que es boniato frito con cebolla y ajvar (una salsa tradicional de berenjena y pimiento muy parecido al pisto) que estaba realmente muy bueno. Relación calidad precio muy bien. Recomendable 100%. La experiencia vale mucho la pena!

Very popular restaurant, we didn't book a table but the staff were quick on their feet and did their best to seat everyone. Recommendation is to book a table in advance!

Food was good, however misleading the "gnocci"-starter was, nutballs would be a more accurate description. The sauces were very tasty!

The Startes were good, we had the Gnocchi and the Crunchy Cauliflour. Even though the Gnocchi didn't haven too much to do with Gnoccies and the Cauliflour wasn't Crunchy as expected, they had very nice flavours.

For dessert we had a strawberry cake and a chocolate cake. Both tasty.
The smoothie number 1 was above avererage with a bit of a spice, Ice Tea was underwhelming.

Unfortunately we weren’t very pleased.. read great reviews in advance but the food felt a bit pre-made, tasteless and actually boring.. the staff was nice but somehow very occupied wish showed, so to speak.
