My experience dining here was great. The food was good, there were menu options at various price points (though it was on the higher end of moderately priced), and there was even a vegan take on a local dish that was delectable. I would have rated here again if I had stuck around for another day.

The good was very tasty, especially for people who enjoy strong flavours! All the dishes had a note of indian and Eastern taste, and also a bit of spiciness, which we very much enjoyed! The service was fast and nice even at a busy time.

A treasure in a city of treasures - Edit
The food is terrific, and it’s so nice to be able to get vegan versions of local cuisine. The staff are lovely. If you’re veggie or vegan in Dubrovnik you should not miss it - we ate there three times in five days. I went five years ago, and it’s only got better. I hope I can visit again one day! Thanks.

Hidden Gem in the Old Town - Edit
Food was really good - we had the pakoras for starters then the tacos and cocolicious for mains and all tasted great! Nice to see a Vegan eatery in a town that mostly lacks options for anyone Veggie or Vegan.

Read moreThe staff was very nice and knowledgeable about gluten free. For starter I had the soup of the day, which was a red cabbage soup. Really enjoyed it. They served it with a nuts & seeds cracker. For the main dish I had the local dish Ćevapčići which was served with sweet potato salad. Was delicious and really filled me up.

We ordered take away to bring back to our hotel so we didn't experience the restaurant itself, only its cuisine and it was very good! Had the vegetable curry and rice composed of many different preparations, all very rich in flavours and a local veganized dish in a flat bread also correct in size, plus pakora that were very good too.

Nice little place with a good selection. It was tasty and came fairly quickly. Staff were lovely. It’s a bit expensive for Croatia, but so is everything in Dubrovnik. I had the vegan version of a Balkan specialty (I forget the name) and it was delicious.

On a day trip from Montenegro, we stumbled accidently on this restaurant. Great choice of vegan foods. After 3 days eating bland food in a hotel full of pensioners on coach trips my taste buds were blown away.

Sadly, Nishta was our least favorite restaurant during our whole trip to Croatia. We started with the crunchy cauliflower appetizer and, after tasting it, decided not to order entrées. The crunchy cauliflower wasn’t crunchy at all and needed more flavor. It looked pretty but the taste could be improved to match. We ended up walking a few steps away to a brand new vegan burger restaurant for entrées.

Vegan restaurants in Croatia are rare so we always get excited to see one. The food served was good but not exciting. The cevapcici reminded us of spicy falafel but it was tasty.

Best vegan food in Dubrovnik - Edit
Nishta is literally the only vegan restaurant in Dubrovnik old town and it's excellent. We came here a couple of times during our holidays and we loved the food. I'd recommend booking before visiting since its always pretty busy and you might have to wait a couple hours if you show up without a reservation.
