Love at the first taste! - Edit
Absolutely perceft! The place was easy to find with Happy Cow app and the food was just absolutely amazing. Friendly and helpful staff and nice shadows after the city walls walk! We went with curry platter and raw sweet potato spaghetti, wine, beer and some raw cakes for dessert. 5/5 🙏

Excellent vegan food - Edit
The dishes are very flavorful and creative. They have a daily menu + a menu that is available everyday. Both dishes we tried were excellent (dahl and naan + the curried cauliflower). However, what is an appetizer and what is an entree is not clearly marked so if you are really hungry go for the most expensive daily dish, the everyday menu or the salad bar which is probably the best value for money.

Nice little spot in the old town. Really tasty food and great service. I believe it is the only 100% vegan restaurant in town?

I went there with my non-vegan boyfriend and we both enjoyed the food very much. The owner was very nice and also the place is interesting. The only thing was, that the portions are not that big, but it gives you place for dessert :P

Nice location, and an amazing menu. The best vegan food I've had in a while. Sadly, the prices in Dubrovnik stopped me from staying longer.

Best vegan food in Dubrovnik - Edit
We went here 3 times and absolutely loved it! Fully vegan menu with lots of different options. I would recommend the curry and the fig cashew dessert which was way better than I expected and one of the nicest desserts I've ever tried. Everything we had was good, but just a heads up the nachos are not served warm so the beans are cold and the cheese isn't melted. Still nice though. We didn't book and got a table every time. Luckily it's good because it's pretty much the only vegan place to eat in Dubrovnik! Standard prices for the city.

Reserve in advance and enjoy! - Edit
First and foremost, it's a small place and the only vegan restaurant in town so reserve before you get there to avoid disappointment!
Read moreI had a Mexican style meal with nachos for starters (amazing guacamole!) and a burrito main course. You could also choose local Croatian cuisine, Indian and more. My meal was delicious, well portioned and something I'd definitely order again! My girlfriend was surprised when she ordered the hamburger, it is not the typical style you expect, it was more of a filled pitta sandwich, but tasty all the same.
The dessert options were a bit too expensive, and as in all places in Dubrovnik, it's not a cheap place to eat, but for me it was well worth it!
Special mention to our waiter who was really genuine and friendly!

Wonderful place in Dubrovnik - you'll definitely want to check in advance to get a reservation. I ordered the Humkar, which was easily one of the best dishes I had on my trip through Slovenia and Croatia.

It is certainly possible to eat well as a vegan in Croatia. The cuisine offers many wonderful vegatable, rice, potato dishes and salads. That said, nothing compares to an excellent vegan restaurant.

love it! - Edit
I love this place so much I've found myself scheduling my day around its opening hours and busy times. Definitely make a booking if you enjoy your first time here. I went for lunch at about 11:50am and got a seat no problem but as people passed and saw our meals they stopped in and before I was finished the place was full. I went for dinner the same day and couldn't get in. I couldn't book either because it was already about 8:30 and full!! In all honesty, I don't think people realise it's a vegan restaurant and they will sit down if they like the look of your food and as they did today, if already packed, they will reserve a table for use within the next hour or half hour, depending on how busy they are. As I was eating lunch today, 6 tables were reserved (for later) within half an hour with a 1 hour wait time. The salad bar is the best salad bar I've seen! And it's so good knowing it's all vegan! There's tonnes of veggies to choose from along with dressing selections and the salad bowls are large. It's $10 AUD which is really worth it. The mains are decent sizes and there's a lot of variety, Mexican, Indian and traditional Croatian. I'm eating here every chance I get while I'm here. It's not kind on the pocket but it's better than boiled rice with whatever veg I find in stores and I'm really enjoying trying as many dishes on the menu as I can.

A very nice place to have a proper vegan meal - Edit
We've been there at Saturday at the lunch time so it was quite busy. Better make a reservation if you don't want to wait for the table. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a salad bar which looked very tasty but I decided to try Humrak - it was full of flavour and healthy as well. Unfortunately there was no place in my stomach for dessert which is a shame as there's some very tempting stuff in the menu.

I will come back to Croatia to just eat in Nishta - Edit
There is nothing better then Nachos in Nishta. Pakoras are also really tasty. Raw spaghetti too. But those Nachos!!! Oh my. For main dish we had polenta dish and the dish with sweet potatoes in thyme and here we were not the biggest fans. It was good but not the way the starters were. I think the tortillas could be great, the looked and smelled amazing. For the dessert we had some figs in wine with cashew sauce that was really neat. The waiter was extra nice and helpful. We came back to camp rolling that is how full we were. I will miss those nachos everyday!

The best food in Dubrovnik - Edit
This place is just fantastic! A great selection of different dishes, with generous portions and proper fresh ingredients. I had the Indian platter for dinner and then went back for lunch a couple of days later for the falafels. Both were delicious and all the other food I saw being served up looked great as well. My partner and I are both vegan but went with 4 omnis who all really enjoyed it too. Be sure to book as it seems too be busy at all times of the day! The staff are friendly and it's great value compared to most restaurants in old town Dubrovnik.

amazing! - Edit
Very nice restaurant in the old town of Dubrovnik with one of the kindest staff I've ever seen. Dishes are varied and tasty, price is average considering the fact you're in the old town. Falafels are tasty as hell and their nachos with vegan cheddar were awesomely good despite the fact my husband has always been hugely reluctant to cheese flavor. Their burritos with tempeh are also über tasty, we even booked a table for the lunch the day after to try the rest of their card. Hugely recommended, though remember to book a table as it's usually quite crowded. Closed on sundays.

Amazing - Edit
Nishta is such a precious gem to find in Dubrovnik Old Town. My partner and I joined them for lunch, and were utterly impressed with everything- the location, the food, the staff and the pricing wasn't bad.
Read moreOur waiter was very friendly- he took the time to answer our questions on some of the menu items.
We ordered vegan nachos to start, and shared a roast vegetable dish and traditional Croatian stew (I cannot recall the names- but you'll figure it out when you're there).
We were so impressed by our dishes. It was such a treat to be able to experience traditional Croatian cuisine, but with a vegan twist, which the restaurant aimed to deliver to its customers (knowing how hard it is for vegan travellers to experience a lot of cultural European dishes as they're predominantly meat based).
The food was fast to our table, plentiful and delicious! I recommend the traditional Croatian stew! It was so tasty and was definitely a flavour I haven't experienced before. It was such a treat to be able to!
All in all, great restaurant! Awesome menu & food, friendly staff, great location!
Pros: Great menu & Delicious food, Friendly staff, Awesome location
Cons: Not many outside tables
