On holiday in Dubrovnik I found it very hard to find anywhere that catered for vegans!
Read moreThis place was great. I had the Sunrise soup and tried both the Boletus Papardelle and the Veggie Burger.
Everything I tried was of excellent quality and the staff were extremely friendly.
Would recommend to all my veggie and vegan friends.
However,it is a small restaurant so would encourage you to book if you want to eat in the evening as they are very popular!
Pros: good value, great food, friendly staff

Really delicious, good quality food at reasonable cost and swift, attentive service even when it was so busy they were turning people away. I would recommend booking ahead. We went twice and were we here longer would go again. They do cooked vegan food as well as raw.

Read morePas contre dommage mon plat « pastalicious » (sorte de pad thaï) était très épicé et les tempuras trop salés. C’est assez cher aussi et il y a peu de places, peut être vaut-il mieux réserver selon le moment.

Staff were lovely & welcoming. We shared the tempura veg, it was crispy but not oily so you could really taste the veg. Our mains were the local dish & the taco. The first was like a spicy sausage with onions in a flat bread, rich with a bit of heat, the taco was a nice chilli inside a flour tortilla. We went back for lunch on our final day, we tried the cauliflower in a curry sauce, I wasn't overawed by it but the pastalicious was fantastic, great flavours.

The only truly vegan restaurant we found within the old city walls of the Dubrovnik. Food was so delicious that we ate here twice. The hot and cold soups were amazing as were the two entrées that we got. Nice selection of healthy beverages as well. Highly recommend.

We tried to go the first night and it was booked so we made reservations for the next night and we’re so glad we did. Friendly staff, great menu choices, very favorable food, nice atmosphere (we ate outside). Raw lasagna was delicious as was the thing I had (“meatball” type thing in a flatbread), that was fancier than I just described it😄

Nice vegan spot with great salad bar - Edit
Ate here 3 times whilst in Dubrovnik and enjoyed the food. There was a good choice of things on the menu and we were happy to see a local dish made vegan on there. The food was quite small portions for the price and over salted but tasty enough. The salad bar was definitely the best part and we would happily go back and just order this. We had the Ćevapi, raw lasagne and the curry platter as well as a salad bowl to share every time

Spring onion disaster - Edit
I'm sorry I can't recommend this place, we ordered the tempura, and the mushroom foccate, the tempura was needlessly sprinkled with bit chunks of spring onion I assume just to look more 'asian' without actually knowing why spring onion is used in Asian cooking. Mushroom foccate was way too big for a starter and the flavour got a bit tedious.
Read moreFor mains I got a traditional croatian sausage imitation wrapped in bread with a sweet potato side salad that had a very strange aftertaste, the potato was great but the main sausage had some odd spices which left a super weird taste from which there was no break, there was also no reason for there to be more spring onion on this.
I don't know why people are so hyped about this place, I'm not a fan, but to each their own.

Lovely listtle vegan restaurant. Great little spot in the old town. After finding we ate here every day during our stay. Great choices on the menu. Loved the pakoras and the raw lasagne. To be fair it was hard to choose as everything looked abd tasted delicious. The salad bar was a delight.

Since all the reviews about this place were so good I guess I expected a bit more. It was okay but also very expensive. I know it‘s a very touristic spot but about 18-20€ for a main dish which size isn‘t as big as it should be for that price, is hard to justify. But that‘s only my opinion. But I was super happy to find a completely vegan spot!

"a vegan paradise" - Edit
"a vegan paradise" is written at a sign on the door. And it's true. In a narrow alley in old town Dubrovnik is this small restaurant with mouthwatering sounding dishes, all of them vegan. None of them sound, look or taste bland. Packed with nutrition and losing no flavour! Nishta even offers raw vegan food as well as three raw vegan cakes.
Read moreWe shared an appetizer, then we had the Falafel Wrap and the Curry Platter. All of it delicious. For dessert we had the lemon-mint cake and the chocolate cake with banana.
It tasted amazing, the owner and staff were super friendly and we were lucky enough to get a table on the terrace.
It seems, the restaurant gets quite busy in the evening. If you want a table, I'd recommend calling ahead or get there early enough!
Also, it's quite pricey, but definitely worth it.

Sehr gastfreundlich und unfassbar leckeres Essen. Da die komplette Speisekarte vegan ist, hat man viele Möglichkeiten und ein entspanntes, kulinarisches Erlebnis. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man kann draußen in einer süßen Gasse sitzen.

Great options for vegans in Dubrovnik. We stopped by for a light lunch of gazpacho, hummus, and salad bar. If I had more time, I would have gone back for a larger meal. I do wish there were more veganized options of traditional Croatian food, because there weren’t many vegan options in the city.

I've only ever eaten 'Raw' food once before and wasn't a fan, but this Lasagne was amazing. Easily the best thing I ate all holiday, highly recommend.
We loved this place so much we went back a second night, and then bought their cookbook.

Small menu but a range of different things so someone for everyone in our party. Didn't try off the raw menu as I was worried it would be fridge cold.(I don't like food straight from the fridge) but I could worrying about nothing.
