Great selection of vegan sushi - Edit
We got the maki and the hokage mix to split between two people. The maki were good especially the vegan tuna one. The hokage mix was very good especially the ones with the crunchy tofu.

Deep fried goodness! Frittierte Köstlichkeiten! - Edit
I am a sucker for deep fried food so I loved their deep fried gyoza, yasai tempura (unfortunately, they no longer offer this), and crunchy rolls (especially the crunchy vader)! My favorite special rolls are the Obito (top choice) and Good Kid (avocados and deep fried sweet potatoes!). The Hulk Tofu is also deep fried, but doesn’t have much taste without the sauce (of course, I have no problem loading anything up with teriyaki sauce). I was impressed that the sushi had so much of its own flavor that I didn’t want pickled ginger with every bite like I normally do. The shabba was pretty good, as were the shimmy shimmy and zuko with teriyaki sauce. Everything was beautiful and delicious with really delicate flavors. It is difficult to figure out when they are open: I went at 11:15 one time and they said they didn't open for another 15 min even though the sign on the door said they were open, as did google maps and their own website. The service leaves much to be desired. Since 2023, Niiko became part of the restaurant next door, which is not all vegan. The menu they bring now is not the Niiko menu, which you have specifically ask for. .

Das Shabba war ziemlich gut, und auch die Shimmy Shimmy und Zuko mit Teriyaki-Sauce. Alles war schön und lecker, mit wirklich feinen Aromen. Es ist schwer herauszufinden, wann sie geöffnet sind: Ich ging einmal um 11: 15 und sie sagten, sie hätten weitere 15 Minuten lang nicht geöffnet, obwohl das Schild an der Tür besagte, dass sie geöffnet waren, ebenso wie Google Maps und ihre eigenen Webseite. Der Service lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Seit 2023 wurde Niiko Teil des Restaurants nebenan, die nicht alle vegan ist. Das Menü, das sie jetzt bringen, ist nicht das Niiko-Menü, nach dem man ausdrücklich fragen muss.

Veganes Sushi (Maki Mix und Crunch Box). Die Maki sehr weich, irgendwie so lasch. Die crispy/crunch Sushi natürlich ziemlich frittiert. Insgesamt hatte ich mehr erwartet, da es auch echt nicht so günstig ist.

Delicious vegan sushi from an all-vegan sushi menu - Edit
Great variety of vegan sushi. It's true that two restaurants with separate menus and separate cashiers share the same space. But the vegan sushi menu is all vegan and the food is great! We went for the big sharing platter to try as much as possible and we're delighted!

It is a restaurant that is a 2 in 1. It is a regular Vietnamese and a vegan sushi place BUT they use the same kitchen and sushi bar to make vegan and non-vegan food. Be aware when you go there.

Great place have tasty creative sushi rolls delivered - Edit
Several of the special roles have great flavour combinations: the Obito roll has a nice balance between sweet/savoury, the Good kid Maad sushi roll has delicate flavours including the chili strands on top, the 808 and Tempura roll has salty topping with creamy filling, and the two crunchy rolls have tasty fillings inside the fried crust. In person, service can be slow and unpredictable, and the seating area is shared with their joint non-vegan restaurant. Ordering for deliver has often been faster, and the estimated time takes out the uncertainty.

This place has great vegan sushi that's for sure, but be aware that they share there place with an omnivore restaurant and the drinks all come from this place. E.g. if you order a latte from THEIR menu (claimed to be vegan) you'll get cow's milk.

The sushi place shares the space with another (non-vegan) restaurant. At first we received the menus for the other place and we were quite confused, but after asking we received the sushi menus. The sushi was really delicious, we got the premium box with three people and that was sufficient and all high quality sushi!

Weird experience and ambiance for me - Edit
Their food is quite good I must admit, but I had a pretty poor experience in here today. The staff was rotating thru their breaks when I was eating here at the table next to me, which had HUGE amounts of real fish on it, bones, scales, and all! So it was unnerving to be in a vegan restaurant, and the whole time next to me a very un-vegan experience took place.

We ordered the Hulk Tofu as a starter. It was quite tasty but too greasy for my stomach🙈.
As mains, we ordered the Black Box, the Crispy Box and one single avocado nigiri. We really, really liked it. The rolls were so extravagant and the taste was amazing.
I ordered the pomegranate lemonade, which was good but very sweet.
The atmosphere was super cute with a huge fake cherry tree in blossom.
Unfortunately, service was very slow, but ok for us as we were not in a rush.

My omni husband who (unfortunately) loves regular fish-sushi, was excited about it too!
We took the sushi to go and had it several hours later. Although not cooled, it still was super-yummy.
We paid around 40€ for a filling and satisfying amount of sushi.
Highly recommend when in Leipzig!

Fantastic flavors - Edit
I was really looking forward to this place and it didn’t not disappoint! As someone who has been vegan for 7 years, I get bored of the typical vegan sushi options available at non-vegan restaurants. So a vegan sushi place that is quite creative is a breath of fresh air! Their ‘tuna’ legitimately tasted like tuna, and their seeweed caviar was quite delicious. I loved all of the rolls we got. The service is a bit slow, but we didn’t mind because we weren’t in a rush. So maybe don’t come if you are in a rush. But if you want a wonderful and flavorful sushi meal, this is the prime spot!

Das Sushi hat gut geschmeckt, die Misosuppe war auch gut, lediglich die Getränke waren viel zu süß und haben wirklich furchtbar geschmeckt. Das Ambiente war eher ganz okay und nichts besonderes. Der Service war auch ganz okay.
