Decent food but not my first choice for a plant-based burger - Edit
They mostly use Beyond Burgers (not really a fan) though I'd dearly love it if they had their own blend. Burgers are small when compared to places like Meta Burger. Fries, I believe, are frozen, so not that great. However, their shakes are out of this world delicious. Parking is horrendous and that alone may keep me away.

Average Level Burger - Edit
Next Level Burger was not bad by any means, but also wasn’t anything amazing either. It was on the more expensive side in comparison to other burger joints, like Santanas Vegan Grill and MetaBurger. The food was severely lacking in seasoning and the portions were rather small. We ordered the Maverick, Chik’n Bacon Ranch, Onion Rings, and BeerChz Style Fries.
Read moreMaverick Burger ($14) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The burger itself was okay and the sauce made up for the lack of seasoning. I appreciated the different options for cheese. For the price the burger was pretty small and nothing really special.
Chik’n Bacon Ranch ($11)⭐️⭐️
Decent flavor but overall very bland. Less than a actual sandwich it was a chicken slider. Too much tomato and not enough chicken.
Onion Rings ($7) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
They were pretty good but again nothing special and we ordered the large which was actually relatively small. They were probably the best thing we ordered but still they weren’t anything profound.
BeerChz Style Fries ($10) ⭐️
These were definitely the most disappointing item. I love cheese fries so I was very excited to try these but there was little to no flavor. For cheese covered fries there was hardly any cheese, but the cheese that was there was severely lacking in any flavor. For $10 the amount of fries we got was insane.
In total we spent about $50. It’s not terrible but just knowing I could have more flavorful food for half the price… Definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to come again. There are so many better options in regards to quality and pricing. You could definitely make this yourself and for significantly cheaper with more flavor. It was very expensive for very bland child-sized portions of food.
Pros: Large Menu, Good Service , Ready Quickly
Cons: Very Bland , Expensive , Portion Size

Slightly less than thrilling - Edit
My cousin and I were so excited to try Next Level Burger, but my overall experience was slightly less than thrilling. I ordered the Maverick Burger, Organic Crinkle Cut French Fries, and an Organic Soft Serve Cookies N' Cream Shake.
Read moreThe Maverick Burger:
The burger was juicy and well seasoned. I appreciated that there was a provolone option as this is something I rarely see. The provolone had good taste and melting qualities. The pickles were fresh and juicy! The burger had a good amount of sauce being they put the special sauce on both the top and bottom buns along with a generous portion of BBQ sauce. However, the bun didn't taste fresh. Also, they forgot my tempeh bacon and I didn't realize it until after. :(
Organic Soft Serve Cookies N' Cream:
I liked that they had 2 milk base options to choose from: soy or coconut. I chose soy. It lacked in chocolate flavor despite having the chocolate sauce and cookie crumbles. 99.9% of the time I finish everything I order, but I did not care to finish this shake and I didn't. Also, I did think it was small for the price.
Organic Crinkle Cut French Fries:
The seasoning was good, it had a subtle hint of heat. I'm not sure what it was exactly, but it reminded me of old bay seasoning. The fries were not as hot and crunchy as I'd prefer. I also thought the size was pretty small for a large and for the price I think it should have came with at least 1 dipping sauce. The dipping sauces were 75¢ each.
The service was good and the decor was super cute, but I was overall underwhelmed, especially for the price. I do appreciate that most, if not all, of the food is organic. However, that shouldn't be a reason that it lacks in flavor. I would give Next Level another try during my next trip to Denver. I would just order differently.
Extras:
Service was good
Decor was cute
Organic
Small parking lot
Pricey
Small portions

Pros: The sauces on the Maverick Burger, The seasoning on the fries, Organic options
Cons: They forgot my tempeh bacon on the Maverick Burger, The fries weren't as hot and crunchy, The price

So many options! - Edit
Absolutely loved the vibe here. Soo many amazing options - between burgers, brats, and chicken. The quinoa burger gives off a healthy vibe. But also plenty of the loaded greasy meaty options too! Milkshakes are heavenly.

Yummy vegan mess - Edit
A lot of variations of 3 main things-- Burger, weiner, or salad. They have a few extra little meals like beyond nuggets and grilled cheese for children. They have the best shakes I have ever had! And you get to choose soy or coconut which is great. Staff is super nice and will to help you make your meal the way you want it. Some of the bigger sandwiches will get a bit messy, so get ready. Majority of the menu is great. I have found I enjoy all patty style except the "beefy", which is actually terrible to me. Others I have gone with were not as against it but said it was the worst one as well.

Certainly Need to Try More! 🍔 - Edit
I ordered:
Read more•Thicc Mint Cookie Shake (M)
•Blue BBQ Burger (Double)
•Sweet Potato Fries (S)
Grand Total: $28.91
Was a bit overwhelmed with options which I think is a good thing, there’s a lot to choose from. As the title says, i think you need to return to really get an idea of what this place has to offer. Certainly isn’t cheap either.
The burger patty itself I wasn’t crazy about, it was a quinoa & chickpea patty and for that reason it sort of falls apart as you eat, somewhat like a falafel would.
The sauces they served me were really flavorful and added to the whole taste, but I think I’d be better off seeing what they do with a beyond burger or possibly just trying their chicken options.
The fries were great but I’ll ask for more well done last time, they sagged and drooped as you pick them up, not usually my style.
The milkshake was tasty and worth ordering but the base options are either coconut, soy, or 1/2 & 1/2 which I definitely don’t like, Oat, or Almond is much more preferable.
The staff us helpful & attentive!
The interior is lively and adds to the experience when you eat inside.
Overall I think the portions for the price, could be bigger. Much bigger. However it’s not a bad options if you prefer paying for taste rather than portion…quality or quantity.
Will return to make a more complete decision on my opinion but a great place to try!

Best junk vegan food in town - Edit
This place blows Meta burger out of the water.
Read moreTons of options for burgers, chicken, fish, sides, shakes, condiments.
They use a mix of re-packaged store brands like beyond as well as house made items for their meat substitutes. I much prefer their chicken tenders to the beyond ones.
The shakes have a very similar texture and taste to McDonald’s 😆
AND their packaging is compostable AND they have a compost bin in the store (thanks for closing the loop) AND reusable water cups with free water
It would be helpful to have all the packaging marked with a BPI or comparable certification so that Denver municipal doesn’t reject them when placed in curbside residential compost bins

Delish! - Edit
I didn’t have a great experience at this location- they completely messed up our order and when i called the employee was not accommodating or apologetic at all. The food was also subpar. The pumpkin shake had zero pumpkin flavor to it, the tator tots had very little toppings. My kids and wife were super annoyed, but my burger was delish. I’ve been to their other locations and their Concord CA location is incredible! The high star rating is more for that than this location. If i didn’t know it’s potential i wouldn’t go back but since i do, I’ll give this location one more try!

Amazing!! - Edit
I was stalking this menu since just before their opening recently and everything sounded soo good! Ended up getting “The American” burger and a mint shake. They ask if you want it coconut, soy, or half and half based. I chose coconut and it was really, unexpectedly, rich!! I will definitely go back and excited to order more on the menu. The people there were so nice as well, it was a little busy but they made sure to check in with me while I waited.

Lots of options but… - Edit
Very nice and fun looking place upon entry. I had the American Burger, GF the Fire Burger. There are a fantastic amount of food choices and options and was very excited to try their food.
Read moreFirst, the cost-$37 for two burgers, one tots and a shake. I appreciate the cost increase that plant based foods are that restaurants are charging but it was a bit of a sticker shock for fast food style and the taste was a bit of a let down. The shake was amazing but the burger I couldn’t say was up to much. It looked and tasted like a Gardein meaty puck. Not great texture or flavor if I’m honest. Grey looking too and dry not juicy. I don’t want a grocery store type burger plant puck when at these type of places or, if I do, at least choose a better one out there. If the up-charge Beyond Burger is better, then make that the only option. Tempeh bacon…meh, bun okay.
I will try the up-charge on a Beyond Patty next time to see if the overall taste is better or even try the chicken or a Brat, but that’s a Beyond product too, which I can make at home.
Oh, and the trash was overflowing when I cleared my table. despite three employees (one looked like a manager) chatting at a table across from us the whole time we were there. It’s not that busy at 7pm to empty the trash???
Yes- do try it. It’s better to have these options than none at all and I will try it again, but I was hoping for a bit more “wow” based on other fast food style, vegan burger restaurants I’ve been to.

Love having another vegan restaurant in the neighborhood! - Edit
Burgers are tasty and the staff are so kind! And love the location. However, the fries and tots are way overpriced for the amount of fries/tots you get. We got a large tots to share between two people, but it’s equivalent to what would be a small or medium size at other burger joints.

Milkshakes, onion rings, n burgers, not so affordable - Edit
Tried this place out twice so far and it’s really good. The burgers are great but their milkshakes are the best I’ve ever had! I just wish it was more affordable, about $7 for a large side of onion rings that aren’t very large. Also their staff the second time I came in seemed to be a little annoyed at allergen questions. However if this place can fix their proportions I’d keep coming back.

Expensive, tasty, weird service - Edit
When I walked in, there were two employees standing in front of a register, but they couldn't take my order, they were just standing in front of a register. Once I realized the other register, away from the "order here" was the only one taking orders, cool. The paper menus are easier to understand than what's projected on the board. Ordered a Maverick Burger, small fries and large orange cream half and half shake. $30.
Read moreGot my number sat down, shake came a few minutes later and then the burger a few minutes after that. One in our party got the wrong burger with their order, normally restaurants just leave the incorrect order but Next Level had him transfer his tots to another tray so they could take the wrong order away. Several minutes later the proper order arrived.
Food tasted great!
Service was a little strange. Not sure if it's new location growing pains or just how they roll.
Might go back again, but for a $30 burger there's lots of other options in town.
Pros: Tasty food, Some uncommon vegan food combos
Cons: Why stand at a register if you can't take orders?, Expensive for what you get, Order mixup was handled oddly

I’m still here. Save your paper receipt. - Edit
$77 should have covered the 3 burgers, 3 shakes, and 1 special fries. Add it up, it was enough. We never got my son’s burger, so I ordered it again. Now I’m still here, going on an hour and $90 lighter watching everyone else eat. Do yourself a favor and keep the receipt in case your food goes missing.

five star for organic. otherwise... - Edit
best part of the next level is that it's organic. compared to other vegan spots in denver, it's not really special. if wellness sushi and gladys are five stars, this is no more than four stars. being organic gives it an extra star and that's the main reason that i would return and pay the rather high prices. it's definitely not inexpensive. for as much money as we spent, i didn't feel satiated and didn't order dessert. compared to other local veg spots, this definitely has more of a franchise feel. the staff seem well trained -perhaps, a bit over exuberant. we'll how long they can maintain that level of potentially forced exuberance.
Read morethat franchise feel means that it will likely do well. e.g., overall, i prefer meta burger or even garbanzo (not veg) and the service and menu offerings between meta burger's or garbanzo's locations are inconsistent. though, i'd never eat at traditional fast restaurants, mcdonald's does really well because of consistency and price.
next level offers good flavors and nothing remarkable or noteworthy. again, that may prove a desirable quality, given the franchise model -keep it middle of road. save the price, i could see more locations around denver. though for the price, i'd much rather eat at gladys, wellness sushi, superfood bar, meta burger, etc. and, it's nice to have variety and have a vegan spot in du area.
i think next level will do well, which is great for veg restaurant scene. it's the kind of place that will likely attract non-veg eaters, which is great. i'm probably a bit more of a foodie and there are many more creative veg spots around denver and, despite seeming to offer lower creativity, mcdonalds does really well. to be clear, the quality of food at next level is very good -likely healthier than most of the veg spots in denver. this higher quality food is reason for five stars.
welcome to denver, next level. grateful for helping to expand the veg scene and perhaps, inspire others to up their game. i shall return for the quality organic fare.

Read moreIt is on the expensive side compared to other burger places, but it’s organic with no GMOs and all vegan so it’s not 1:1 comparable with other burger joints anyway. The portion sizes are also smaller than expected for the price. A small tot is probably 10 of them, and the soda sizes are 1980’s sizes instead of today’s.
I’ll definitely be going back though, and I highly recommend the food! Just be prepared to spend $20-30 pp with sides and drinks.
