Must go!!!

Seriously amazing food. We got the animal stacker, chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and mint chocolate chip milkshake. Their burgers are with Beyond Beef. The milkshake was super creamy and delicious. I have zero complaints

Love Love Love

So nice to find a burger restaurant that has several delicious combinations. There are beyond burgers and house made patties to chooch from. Lots of sauces and sides and tons of shake options!

Pros: Orange Dream Shake!, House made patties

Best vegan burgers in town

The burgers are always perfect. The patty and bun ratio is spot on and the toppings are plentiful. Recommend the tots with ranch to dip. And the strawberry milkshakes (soy base) are as good as it gets.

Burgers and fries

Getting to go to a restaurant where everything is vegan is always a blessing! Love their burgers and smash patties. I’ve had their onion rings, special fries and spicy burgers and love it all. I come here frequently for a quick bite.

Pros: Lots of options , Have yummy milkshakes

Not What I Expected

I had a burger, fries and chocolate shake.

There was only one other table filled. Otherwise it was empty.

Pros: The fries were great!

Cons: The milkshake was disappointing.

THE BEST sweet potato fries

My family loved the options between beyond Burger and the house made patty. The sweet potato fries were crispy and not soggy even though we got it delivered. The shakes were delicious and the chipotle mayo was next level. Definitely get the chipotle mayo with the sweet potato fries.

Cons: Ranch didn't go with the sweet potato fries

Best in town!

All vegan! Mostly beyond meat based burgers but has black bean, and quinoa mushroom too, INCREDIBLY GF friendly. Separate grill, very clear allergen menu and all of their shakes are gluten free (even the cookie dough and cookies and creme).

Doing 25% off of all catering orders right now, on EZcater or through catering@nextlevelburger.com

Could be better

For the price, the portions and size of everything seems really small. It’s just okay, really wasn’t impressed by what I ordered. There are much better vegan burger joints.

Solid Vegan Fast Food

I thought the chick’n sandwich had a great flavor and texture, though it was a bit small. The shake is also pretty good but the fries are not.

Fast-food burger chain with organic veggies and room to improve

With so many plant-based fast-food places coming onto the scene these days, it takes a special touch to stand out. Next Level Burger distinguishes itself in some respects but lags in others.

One advantage is that they use organic produce, which is great and much appreciated. But this benefit is marginal since the menu focus here is processed faux meats and most dishes don't feature much (if any) produce. Other than a Ceasar salad, there isn't anything particularly healthy on the menu (though presumably most of their customers aren't coming for a salad). We'd love to see a few healthier (non-processed) items on the menu, like a grilled portobello burger.

Another marketing point is that they use "compostable" plates and bowls (even for dine-in orders). This sounds nice but in practice it's essentially greenwashing if they don't provide the service of actually composting those materials for dine-in orders (which they don't), because if the stuff isn't actually industrially composted it just winds up being more energy-intensive junk in the landfills. At least it isn't plastic. But the much better option, ecologically speaking, would be to serve dine-in orders in reusable serving ware (washable plates, bowls, and glasses). Hopefully they'll consider this. Meanwhile, consider bringing your own reusable take-out containers.

As for taste and texture, the burgers and shakes are better than average, while the sides are a bit uninspired (not as good as those at nearby Native Foods or Meta Burger).

Altogether, we wouldn't make a special trip to return here, but it's always good to have plant-based options if you're in the area, and the organic produce is a plus.

It was underwhelming

Just ok. I was disappointed in the fries especially. Had the Signature Burger with Jack pepper cheese. It was just ok.

Vegan burgers, shakes and more

We were excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. The burgers and chicken sandwiches were delicious and we particularly enjoyed the onion rings. The local soda was just alright. Next time will definitely try a shake for dessert.

Pros: Good food, Lots of options, Nice atmosphere

Mmm milkshakes

While I find the food to sometimes be hit or miss, the milkshakes are where it is at! Avoid the overpriced salads and stick with the burgers.

Great milkshakes

Loved that they had so many options. The chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake with half coconut & half soy is the one I got and loved it. The tater tots were good just a bit brittle. I got the mushroom and quinoa burger and it was very good, overall I loved the place.

Pros: Tons of options

Decent food but not my first choice for a plant-based burger

They mostly use Beyond Burgers (not really a fan) though I'd dearly love it if they had their own blend. Burgers are small when compared to places like Meta Burger. Fries, I believe, are frozen, so not that great. However, their shakes are out of this world delicious. Parking is horrendous and that alone may keep me away.

Cons: Parking is pretty much nonexistent.

Average Level Burger

Next Level Burger was not bad by any means, but also wasn’t anything amazing either. It was on the more expensive side in comparison to other burger joints, like Santanas Vegan Grill and MetaBurger. The food was severely lacking in seasoning and the portions were rather small. We ordered the Maverick, Chik’n Bacon Ranch, Onion Rings, and BeerChz Style Fries.

Maverick Burger ($14) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
The burger itself was okay and the sauce made up for the lack of seasoning. I appreciated the different options for cheese. For the price the burger was pretty small and nothing really special.

Chik’n Bacon Ranch ($11)⭐️⭐️
Decent flavor but overall very bland. Less than a actual sandwich it was a chicken slider. Too much tomato and not enough chicken.

Onion Rings ($7) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
They were pretty good but again nothing special and we ordered the large which was actually relatively small. They were probably the best thing we ordered but still they weren’t anything profound.

BeerChz Style Fries ($10) ⭐️
These were definitely the most disappointing item. I love cheese fries so I was very excited to try these but there was little to no flavor. For cheese covered fries there was hardly any cheese, but the cheese that was there was severely lacking in any flavor. For $10 the amount of fries we got was insane.

In total we spent about $50. It’s not terrible but just knowing I could have more flavorful food for half the price… Definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to come again. There are so many better options in regards to quality and pricing. You could definitely make this yourself and for significantly cheaper with more flavor. It was very expensive for very bland child-sized portions of food.

Pros: Large Menu, Good Service , Ready Quickly

Cons: Very Bland , Expensive , Portion Size
