Meh

Not very Thai - vegetable and noodles are very American. Greasy

Service was slow and unsanitary (violated health codes).

Poorly prepared. "Tofu" dish had almost no tofu. Server noticed and brought more without my comment. Ordered "hot" and was served dish without any hot pepper that I could discern.

Pros: Has calories, Fairly large portions

Cons: Cheap ingredients, Poorly prepared, Friendly bu slow service

Great option

We asked if our order could be made vegan and the waitress was very accommodating. Pretty good thai food.

The Pad Thai made vegan & most of stir fries can be made vegan

Family style restaurant. Pad Thai made vegan, no fish sauce or egg. All but one stir fry can be made vegan. Yellow curry is the only vegan/vegetarian choice all the others have shrimp paste.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, helpful , Pad Thai & lots of stir fry options , Large portions - family style

Cons: Menu doesn’t list vegan/vegetarian options

Vegetarian option (singular) was excellent

I asked the waitress what didn't have fish sauce and was vegetarian and was told there was just one curry that fitted that spec so I went with that! In someways it was a good situation because it made my selection for me and didn't disappoint. I'm falling in love with tofu on this island in a whole new way. So fresh, so soft, will be so missed.

Pros: Great tasting food, Excellent tofu

Cons: Limited to one option

Best Thai food Ive ever had

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - five stars if I could.

It’s a simple and relaxing place. Nothing on the menu is inherently vegan, cause of shrimp and fish sauce. However the servers were very helpful and good at guiding you to vegan options/how to make items vegan.

We got the yellow curry (the only curry available to be made vegan), garlic pepper stir fry, and the chiang mai fried rice. Not to sound dramatic, but it was the best thai I’ve ever had.

It was incredible.

The service was semi slow, but I’ve found that most restaurants in Hawaii are slow.

We adored it all

Pros: Huge portions , Incredible flavor, Relaxing environment

Cons: Nothing marked vegan, Only one curry able to be vegan

Don't waste your time.

The only time I leave a bad review for a place is if I feel the need to save someone else's experience, and I feel that way with this place.

My friend and I were told food would be ready in 20 minutes, and we got it in 50. When the food arrived, both of our orders were wrong. I ordered no cilantro (it even said it on the box) and it had some. I'm not able to eat cilantro.

Disappointed, I asked for a refund. The lady said they can just take them off, but once again, I politely asked if I could just have my money back. Without a word, she took the food to the back and came back and gave it to me, saying she had picked them off.

At that point, I wasn't going to argue so I left. The food was maybe 5/10. Could only eat a little bit. Don't waste your time.

Cons: Long wait, bad service, mediocre food

Great Thai Food

We went here our first night in Hilo because it was the closest restaurant that popped up on Happy Cow. Pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and chill atmosphere. Server was knowledgeable about which items contained animal products. No issue ordering a side of tofu without the batter (contains egg) for our kids or egg-less Pad Thai for myself. My husband had one of the veggie curries, and it was good too.

Pros: Great food, Fast service

Cons: Items are not marked vegan

Excellent food and service

We went here twice during our trip to Hawaii. Both times we ordered the veggie spring rolls, Phad se ew; & pineapple fried rice. The waitress was very nice and helpful. She had no issue with us requesting no animal products. The food came fast and was super flavorful. The only negative was that there is no soap to wash your hands with in the men’s room.

Pros: Vegan was not an issue , Friendly staff, Plenty of choices

Cons: No soap in men’s room.

Good food, exceptionally friendly waiters

Fairly large restaurant with nice atmosphere. When we came in I told the waitress we're vegan and she couldn't have been more kind in helping us put in a completely vegan order. She even pointed out that some dishes have fish and clam sauce and that she would make sure they used a substitute. The menu has many items that can easily be veganized. Food was very satisfying. Large portions.
