The banh mi had an insane amount of peppers. I like spicy food but the level of spice was just painful.

The Hu Tieu soup tasted like dishwater.

Both ice creams I ordered had a bitter aftertaste.

The cashew coffee tasted awful and had a very gritty texture.

The tall waitress was so curt, rude and attitudinal. So unfriendly for no reason! Maybe I reminded her of someone who had wronged her in the past??

Edit: I later learned that the waitress is also the owner which made the rude service even more confusing.

As it is important to some people to support vegan-owned business, know that the owners are not vegan. A customer asked how long she had been vegan and she replied they’re not vegan; they eat fish and other meat products.
