Hit or miss - Edit
Went with my partner who is at best a flexitarian (love him for trying) and the first meal we had was very delicious and very filling. My partner had the chicken avocado bacon club with fries and I had the California wrap with potato salad and we split the oatmeal creamer pie for dessert which is totally worthy of the hype.
Read moreWe were so happy with our meal we came back the next day, however it was overall not a great experience. While the staff was as helpful and quick as the day before, the food was lacking in flavor or just did not taste right. My partner had the southern barbecue plate and the only thing either of us liked was the coleslaw which totes should not be the star of that dish, the Mac and cheese shouldn’t even be called Mac and cheese as it doesn’t even resemble anything cheesy tasting. I had the brisket burger which was okay but made the poor choice of getting the Mac and cheese with it as well. We also got the meatball flight which was fun to try and the lavender lemonade, both of which were interesting and enjoyable. We also shared the peanut butter parfait which was good but not as good as the dessert we had had the day before.
This place offers a ton of different options and it’s totally vegan, so it makes sense that some dishes would be stronger than others.
Pros: Totally vegan , Good desserts, Quick service, take out available
Cons: Some food awesome, some not good

Good vegan fastfood! - Edit
It's always so amazing with a 100% plantbased place and to be able to choose anything on the menu! Here I tried a "peri peri chicken sandwich combo" and "BBQ chicken salad" on different occations and they where both really good. The salad was really a lot of food so dont worrie for not being full. I would say the salad where more food than the sandwich with 2 sides.

Always Refreshing - Edit
It’s always refreshing when I find a place where I can eat ANYTHING on the menu. I had the special for the night: cherry chocolate bbd brisket if I remember correctly. It was delicious, if a little greasy/messy. But that’s all part of the burger joint experience, right?

Delicious (just a little salty) - Edit
A calm environment with nice music and good food. I went with a group of 3 and we all got something different. The overall consensus was that it was really good just a little salty. Other than that, everything was very flavorful and the staff was friendly!

Vegan Paradise - Edit
I brought my non-vegan family here when we were visiting Chicago, and I was so happy that EVERYONE was impressed! We order the Orange Cauliflower, the Reuben, the Baja Tacos, the Chicken Run Ranch, and a Cheeze Steak (seasonal item). Everything was spectacular! My personal favorite was the Reuben, it tasted so authentic that I could have sworn I was being fooled!

Good - Edit
Not the greatest but I did like my husband's sandwich a lot. I had the Sesame Kale Macro Bowl and it was a little disappointing. The Kale was cooked but cold (I like raw and cooked kale, but if its cooked I want it to be warm) and the chunks of cucumber were kind of big compared to the rest of the bowl. Willing to go back and try something else though because my husband's food was good. It kind of seems like a thing though, that vegan restaurants have a hard time doing "healthy" and make really good "unhealthy" meals. Obviously any vegan food is healthier than nonvegan food, but I'm trying to shed some #'s, so I often try to eat healthier when we go out. This kinda missed the mark for me.

Fantastic - Edit
Quick service, good prices and great food. We had the small Korean bbq wings which was big enough for two people to share. I had the chicken burger which was fantastic and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles - he’s usually a bit fussy when dining out eating Vegan food but he really really enjoyed his meal so happy faces all round! Went here for lunch around 12 and weren’t hungry again for the rest of the day!

Nice place with a good variety of choices. Not a long walk from Millennium Park or the Art Institute. I was quite pleased with the food and service both times I came here. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions. The seasoned fries that came with the wrap were especially tasty.

Disappointing - Edit
Super cool that there's a 100% vegan restaurant here. Unfortunately the food didn't rock. I got the Soul Bowl with red beans & rice, and a side of mac'n'cheeze. The mac tasted ok but was watery, not at all creamy. The soul bowl was just flavorless, and the beans and rice were mushy. The cornbread side was inferior.

So Good! - Edit
I ate here three times while in Chicago for a convention - I only wish there was a franchise closer to home! The nachos with added BBQ chicken were so good I ate them on two occasions, and the third visit I opted for the Soul Bowl, which was chock full of nicely steamed vegetables, beans, and brown rice, topped with BBQ chicken and ranch dressing. The blueberry tea and lavender lemonade are delicious, especially when combined. Service is prompt and the prices excellent.
