Cool staff in a small and cute space. I strongly advise you to make a reservation. During the week, the lunch menu offers soup, one main dish, tea/other drink and coffee, and it's about 7€. I loved the food, and deserts are really delicious too.

The friendly staff make you feel welcome in pleasant surroundings tucked away from the numerous meat and fish based restaurants, albeit centrally located in Aveiro.
Musgo is not just the best vegan offering in Aveiro, it's also a brilliant example of what can be done with entirely plant-based food and is a must for anyone visiting the town, vegan or not.

For lunch (when we came) they had a set plate , with no much variations. But the plate was great, so we had no complaints (tortilla with red beans, guacamole, yogurt, green salad and kind of cereal (Bulgur). It comes with soup and cold/hot herbs tea, and terrific corn bread. Everything was very well cooked and seasoned, and healthy, with nice twist, like adding sunflower seeds to the beetroot soup.

My first time on Musgo: I was not sure how it was going to be, but the truth is that I was delighted. It was the first time I had dined at a vegan restaurant and expectations were totally exceeded. Musgo is one of my favorite spots in Aveiro. The food is simply delicious (and very fresh), the staff are very attentive and friendly, the space is pleasant and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The dishes change every day and are inspired by dishes from various regions of the world, which allows us to travel and experience exotic and different flavors. I have also to highlight the constant concern of the chef and other staff in the service of the customers. It also has the advantage of being in the center of Aveiro, at a restaurant and bars area (ideal for a drink after dinner). The price/quality ratio is good.

Great place located in the center of Aveiro. We had a lentil and cabbage soup and some tofu-carrot pastry. Everything was full of flavour and was presented very well. Definitely a must go.

A gem in the heart of Aveiro. A must go for vegans. We had their broccoli soup, ceviche of palm hearts, tempeh and nut burger and chocolate mousse. All beautifully presented and delicious. Great service.

Musgo is a small vegan restaurant in Aveiro, in a tiny street of the city center. The place is pleasant and the staff super-friendly. Most importantly, the food is excellent and fresh! I went there for lunch and had a really good cauliflower veloute as a starter, very yummy and creamy vegetable lasagna (and I am demanding) and two nice desserts: a chocolate mousse and a red fruit mousse having the right texture and taste. Price were very fair and I would definitely come back. Give it a try!

MUSGO has a lovely room in a hidden court in the city of Aveiro, quite romantic actually. But on the day we went, the food was quite disappointing. We had a blend soup, and three side salads. There is so much to vegetarian cuisine: falafels, grilled halloumi, seitan, tofu, stuffed peppers, veggie croquettes, flan, tart, veggie burgers, veggie sausage... but we were served three side salads. A couscous salada, a bean salad and a lettuce salad. Very disappointing.

I've seen the manager answering a TripAdvisor review with a pretty passive agressive comment so it doesn't make me want to be nice with them either haha

This is the perfect place to go with friends for either lunch or dinner. I had the most amazing chickpea curry I've ever had in my life and and awesome cheesecake for dessert. Cozy place (it was so cold outside, this was an absolute haven!), very friendly staff and delicious food. It's situated in a popular area of Aveiro, so I really hope this awesome restaurant keeps growing. Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm in Aveiro. :)

If you are veg and you are in Aveiro then it's a must. Friendly super responsive chef. Gets busy so get there early. (right after they open). It's one chef, one sous, one waiter and it can be a bit of a wait for the food, but if you are with good company it's no problem. It's open kitchen so you can see it all happening. Clean, trendy, modern. A bit tight on space on the 2 seater row but when you are actually seated, you really dont feel it (it's magical:). Very nice vibe. I had the daily special-delish! and consumed 2 deserts. (mango mousse and a coffee cake! YUMM). Definitely recommend this place! (everyone seemed to be getting the chickpea curry and the spinacopita but I did not, I am sure they were delicious as well). I had an amazing sheppards pie instead! LOVED it! Ah... and the price! CANT BEAT IT!
