I am here from Australia and have toured up north and have come back down to Nha Trang. Travelling in a group hasn't always meant I've eaten at purely vegan restaurants, sadly. Quán Chay Nấm is a wonderful little restaurant set back a bit from the road. Often veg/an restaurants serve varieties of vegetables and tofu that I can make at home but QCN goes that little bit further by offering stir-fried seitan in a coconut sauce and a very tasty braised mock "fish" wrapped in seaweed. That plus fried spring rolls (8 pieces) chilli fried rice and lemonade was AU$17. Great value for money.

It’s really hard to find 100% vegan restaurants in Nha Trang. But this place has an extensive menu with lots of options. The mango salad, many and varied tofu dishes and the phó are all worth trying. The owner (pictured) is friendly and keen to help you understand the menu and food choices.

I ate the banana leaf salad and sweet and sour king oyster mushroom. Both were tasty and decent sized portions. With 3 drinks, coconut, lemonade and a pennywort coconut drink the price was 214 VND. Spent over an hour after eating speaking to the owner Hoang over google translate. Talking all things vegan, of our families and football. A memorable night.

With lack of good vegan places in the area this one was not bad. Nice menu of typical Vietnamese dishes. Waiter was very nice - she was trying hard to please us. Language barrier was a bit hard to overcome though. Very affordable and quite good.

Seitan Coconut stir fry was unbelievable, best seitan i’ve had! Other food we got was delicious too. It was refreshing to go somewhere with so many vegetarian options after struggling to find veggie food in Vietnam.

When we visited last month they’d only been open for a month as a fully vegan restaurant. The owner speaks good English and is very attentive and happy to recommend dishes. They grow their own mushrooms on-site & it’s probably the reason for the restaurant’s name. Best for those who love mushrooms! The pho is particularly good, and especially when you add the paste on the table- it gives it a lovely garlicky, umami taste. We’d eat jars of the paste by itself if we could!

The food was yummy! We had the fried rice, braised tofu and mushroom and king oyster mushroom stirfry with bamboo shoots. We were so full but wanted to try their special dish of fried mushrooms. Oh wow! So glad we did. It was a mushroom cake mixed with chives and assorted herbs and spices. Crumbed and then fried to perfection. We could seriously order plates of just these mushrooms. The portions were great, the service and atmosphere was fantastic. Felt so welcomed and relaxed. Thank you for a lovely evening.

An amazing new vegetarian restaurant in Central Nha Trang - Edit
A great find for vegetarians in the middle of Nha Trang, just back from the main waterfront. A great selection of vegetarian dishes (and I'm sure most if not all are either already vegan or easily adaptable. Mostly just without the mayonnaise dips). The Fried Mushrooms and the Pho were particularly amazing. We came back twice in our 4 days in Vietnam because I couldn't stop thinking about the mushrooms...

Delicious food without fail - Edit
We visited this restaurant on four occasions, and each meal was very tasty indeed. We particularly enjoyed the banana flower salad, fried mushrooms and spring rolls, but every dish was delicious. Host is friendly and speaks English, and he gets you to scan a QR code for the extensive English menu. One star deducted as host got the order wrong three times, bringing us food we hadn't ordered and not bringing us food we had, but this did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

The food here is amazing. We tried the seitan, fresh spring rolls, fried rice and mock meat with mushrooms. If you want nice vegan food and extremely convincing mock meats then this us perfect. Reasonable prices and lovely service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious stress free meal

Amazing organic vegan food served in a beautiful renovated old space with a rustic vibe. Service is extremely friendly and professional. Delicious Vietnamese Food - Edit
This is a great find. It has a lot of 5 star reviews on google. We had the fresh lemonade, spring rolls, crispy mushrooms and the Vietnamese pancake. Next time we’ll try the tofu lemongrass and mango salad. Everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable.
