Woweeeee - Edit
The nicest lady owns this place and the food is some of the best Korean food I've ever had! Before going vegan I've had non-vegan Korean food - I think Mukbap's stuff is on par or even better!

Loved it!! - Edit
We had the sausage kimbap, crispy fried seaweed rolls, veggie dumplings, and a side of kimchi, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The barley tea was lovely as well. What made our experience even more fantastic was that the woman who served us was so kind and welcoming!!

Had a fab meal mid-week after work. We got there just after 5 so didn't have to book. There are 3 tables so if I was going a bit later I would have booked. Grace the owner is a hoot! We had some delicious food and would recommend if you are in the area

Worth the wait! - Edit
I've been wanting to try Mukbap since they opened but rarely venture to London, so on an overnight trip I made it my mission to be the first in the door at opening time, even if it meant I had to find a sheltered corner to wait during the torrential rain!
Read moreThe lady behind the counter was wonderful to speak with, when a family with children came in she had a towel ready for them to dry themselves & even put a heater on so none of us got a chill.
I had the small kimbap, which despite being a "small" was still a very good size. For my main I chose the Bulgogi deopbap as it's one of my favourite Korean dishes but I can't get it quite right. I've only had this with tofu before but the mock "beef" was a welcome change, the sauce was just the right amount of tangy, sweet & slightly smokey. I'm not sure what kind of magic they concocted as even the mushrooms were good & I don't like mushrooms very much!
The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, I had a lovely chat with the other table that came in (the family mentioned before), with one of the children seeing my order & ordering the same thing (I hope he liked it as much as I did!). Others mentioned it's hard to find but I had no problems locating it at all with the help of Google maps.
Yes this is a very small location but it's worth the wait & the journey with some of the best vegan korean food I've had.
I can't wait to return on my next trip!
Pros: All vegan, Lovely people, Warm atmosphere
Cons: Very small, may be hard to get a table sometimes

Amazing Korean food, fresh & delicious - Edit
I took a non vegan friend to Mukbap as my guest and we had a delicious lunch with lots of left overs . Fresh Korean food with a sweet lady who serves and her younger relative who cooks so everything is fresh to order.
Read moreThere is only seating for 8 (table for 2 and 4 and 2 bar stools by window which we had) so it may be better to order and collect.

There are only 2 tables and 1 window counter. We didn't book a table in advance and sat at the window counter which was totally fine.

Honestly the best vegan food I have ever had. Everything that I have tried on the menu is delicious with deep and rich flavours, but my personal favourite is the spicy "pork". The family that owns the place is incredibly kind as well, all in all a great experience. Can definitely recommend!

Worth the trek! - Edit
I’m visiting London and this place was worth all the public transport to Shoreditch. It’s a small place (3 tables) and you can do take out or eat in (I didn’t need a reservation). The food was 100% vegan Korean and FANTASTIC. The owner clearly put their heart and soul into opening this place. I’d go back every day if I could.
Read moreI got the beef bimbimbap, the small kimbap, the spicy rice cake, and kimchi pancake. All delicious and perfect portions for two Americans. This is the only vegan Korean restaurant I’ve ever come across in the world.

Wonderful experience - Edit
This restaurant provides an opportunity to try authentic vegan Korean food and it is delicious! My friends and I ordered lots of dishes and would recommend all of them: kimchijeon, tteokbokki, kimbap, japchae, cucumber kimchi, bokkeumbap. I already can’t wait to return, even though it’s a long and expensive trip for me. The woman that was costumer-facing was lovely, chatted to us for a while and was very kind. Note that the place is very small. There is no toilet which is a shame but there are free toilets at the Liverpool Street station nearby. Overall, definitely worth a try!

Yummy food, lovely service - Edit
It's a small place that feels ablittle tucked away, not much room to sot and eat. But we went at lunch and there was space. So excited to find a fully vegan Korean place! We had a couple of starters, a side to share and a main each and everything was really tasty. The lady serving was sooooooo lovely and friendly. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
