Delicious dumplings - Edit
We asked for a plate with all the different vegan dumplings. Even though I liked to try all of them I mostly enjoyed the potato and the mushroom dumpling.
Read moreMy boyfriend had the fried dumplings and I ordered boiled. To be honest I wanted to choose healthy option but the fried ones tasted better😉(boiled was still very nice though).
Would come back and would recommend.

Awesome dumplings and falafel - Edit
The menu offers a great variety of vegan options. The falafels were amazing. I got the vegan boiled mix and it comes with a generous portion of vegan yogurt. They also serve a lavish vegan breakfast for two.

Nice dumplings - Edit
I like the taste of the dumplings but the yoghurt was not so great. Still, I would say give it a go if you like to try some traditional dumplings. :)

Outstanding breakfast! - Edit
We had lunch here (Manti) and saw that they also do a vegan breakfast, so came back another day. The Manti were nice, but the breakfast was amazing. We couldn’t finish it all and they kept bringing out more plates. Highly recommend this place for a traditional Turkish breakfast.

Tried twice, Metropol location is terrible - Edit
Was so excited to visit Mr. dumpling, however their location in the Metropol mall area is very disappointing. First visit they were out of vegan yogurt so we had dry manti. Server was not friendly and overall not a great experience. Then went back for a second time yesterday when they were supposed to have vegan breakfast, however only the regular breakfast was available. Same rude server, rolled her eyes at our Turkish friend who complained that they have a large menu yet don’t have big items they are advertising. Will probably not return. Sadly!!!

Cons: No vegan yogurt, first visit, No vegan breakfast, second visit, Service was poor and rude

Hey, just a quick note to say that the Mr. Dumpling in Kadıköy (the one in this entry) is pretty decent. I have never seen them missing vegan yogurt, the breakfast is never-ending and the staff are friendly and helpful. I didn’t even know they had other branches. Your experience sucks, obviously. But if you have time, give the OG Mr. Dumpling another chance.

Decent selection of mantı. The vegan yoghurt is alright, lacking a bit of sourness to my opinion.

Nice mantı/dumplings with decent outdoor spot to sit. Fried dumplings was too crunchy for my taste, but the boiled dumplings were better.

The fried dumplings are the best. The best one is the one with roasted potato and onion!

Manti! - Edit
It’s always nice to see veganized versions of local foods, and they’ve got a pretty good selection here. I feel like vegan garlic yogurt with chili oil isn’t something I see all that often when traveling!
Read moreFried dumplings were great and tasty, but the pouch shaped ones were a bit dry or maybe the dough was just too thick. Still good, and I’ll be back to try the boiled ones. The mercimek çorbasi (Turkish lentil soup) is absolutely delicious as it should be, but a larger portion for the price would be nice.
Staff spoke good English and were very friendly, also a nice plus.

Taste is good, it requires some freshness so they bring pickles but they were warm. Unfortunetly they serve meat.

Well-made vegan dumplings! - Edit
The dumplings were satisfying. Well-presented in a nice box with fermented salad, (vegan) yoghurt sauce, and a nice garlicky flavour they added. Very satiating. Staff was helpful. Wasn’t too sure what the fillings were though, and they could have a bit more flavour/soy sauce.

Tried all their vegan varieties (both boiled and fried) and all are good. The fried tend to be tastier. The yogurt is superb. All in all it was a nice experience and good value for money.
