Delicious and inventive - Edit
Fabulous decor…..thousands of fairy lights all round the place. Some swinging seats too. Separate vegan menu with truly delicious dishes all served in Tiffins (little round metal containers originally used by workers on the Indian railway system I think to carry their lunch etc in). Excellent service and good pricing.

Tasty indian food - Edit
Not a lot of gluten free AND vegan options, but I could at least choose. I has the Temple Dahl and a side of white rice. The former was thick and tasty, the latter really fluffy. As expensive as everything else in Oxford, but worth a visit.

Good vegan indian food - Edit
Indian street food restaurant on the rooftop of Westgate, with a separate vegan menu. Has a very pretty decor indoors, with many lights. We had the yogurt chat bombs, bhel puri, treacle tamarind fries (favourites), holy chow, green ginger rhubarb dhal and calcutta tangled greens, which were all really nice.

Holy Chow - Edit
The Holy Chow vegan option was very unimaginative. Chickpeas in a rather unappetizing dry spicy tomato sauce inside a huge chunk of tasteless white bread. Supposed to contain mango but none was in evidence. A waste of £8.95.

Cons: Not enough vegan options
