It'll take you a while to work through all of the vegan ice cream options at this joint. My all-time favourite is the Korean Dalgona ice cream. It's so good that a scoop isn't enough - I buy a pint. Fantastic place, we are so lucky to have them in the neighbourhood!

Average vegan ice cream,a few unique flavors - Edit
Went twice to try their selection. They do have a few interesting flavours. Tried their ginger rhubarb ice cream,not bad,very gingery but little rhubarb preserve. Also tried their taro coconut chocolate dipped bar,nice chocolate coating,but taro ice cream not exciting. Also tried their durian sandwich,durian flavour was average,the brown sugar blondie was way too sweet.

Read moreI have tried all the Vegan dip ice cream bars. The pineapple mango dip is my favourite of any brand, of all time. The Vegan Raspberry is a very, very, very close second place with two layers of crunchy chocolate coating. Unfortunately I have no photos as all the ice cream, from all of our trips there, is gone😄
It's great that they have a number of main flavours, and a number of special flavours, like for Valentine's Day and the Lunar New Year. Their flavours are mostly familiar with a bit of Asian + fusion flavours.
The location is fairly convenient; and I am glad they are still virus-aware at the end of February 2023.: wearing masks, limiting in-store customers to two parties, minimal touching of products by staff, etc.
They also have their bars at NU Grocery, and at Plants + Curio, though the former only carries the Vegan Cookies + Cream bar during the off season.
They have three types vegan dumplings, too, which we have bought as presents and two of which can be purchased individually at NU Grocery.
At least Julie is very zero-waste aware! :D
The Vegan bars are very clearly labelled. But if you are ever unsure, just ask!
The staff, especially Julie, is very allergy- and cross contamination-aware. If you have any allergies, sensitivities, or concerns, just ask staff.
Beautiful art postcards would also be great to decorate your home or send to loved ones, which we plan to do.
The owners really seem to value the employees with some working there numerous years and the store closing for three weeks annually for much-needed time off for staff.
There is also a, suspended, scoop programme through which we can donate so community members can get a free scoop of ice cream.
There is also an Asian-Canadian makers tab on the website!
For so, so many reasons, including the ones above and below in the "Pros" section, we highly recommend Moo Shu Ice Cream :)

Loved the unique flavours, great tasting vegan ice cream… but Prices are very high & scoops are small. We paid $30 for 3 small waffle cones. That’s a lot considering they offer no seating.

Not 100% vegan but still amazing - Edit
One of my favourite places to grab vegan ice cream in the summer! The flavours are always delicious and the dipped bars are to die for. I also love their frozen dumplings as an easy dinner at home. The restaurant has both vegan and non vegan options, but I really enjoy their vegan spread! Make sure to check out the scooping menu online before hand so you can plan our your cone accordingly 😉 It's all about making sure to try out new flavours that swap in and old classics. There is a couple free parking spots near by but it's also very accessible by foot. The vegan cone pictured in my review is a Hong Kong style bubble cone with the Green Earth and CC Lemon flavours.

Wonderful Vegan Ice Cream! - Edit
I bought a scoop of the black sesame vegan ice cream in a waffle cone (~$4.50) along with a pint of vegan chocolate and vegan coffee (~$12 each). This is probably the best vegan ice cream I’ve ever had—it’s so creamy and smooth, and not identifiably vegan. The vegan coffee ice cream was the best—it had chocolate bits and caramel in it. My omnivore friends, with whom I shared the pints, didn’t even know (and couldn’t tell) that the pints were vegan.
