Mono is a great fully vegan venue in Glasgow. The mac n cheese is yum as is their home brewed soft drinks! Quite often busy so adviseable to prebook!

A classic vegan spot in Glasgow, Mono is a combination restaurant/coffee bar/record store. The perfect hangout spot. I've been to Mono several times over the last few years and enjoyed everything I've eaten, from pizzas to veggie dogs. This latest visit my husband and I both ordered macaroni and cheese with garlic bread. It was delicious and filling, with the whole meal being completed by ordering one of Mono's in-house brewed soft drinks. Their menu is heavily marked with allergen information, so if you're sensitive to certain ingredients then Mono might be able to cater to your needs.

Portions are brilliant here and food very tasty. Although staff were friendly service was a bit slow. Toilets need attention with an awful damp smell permeating. Good vegan wine selection...the Rioja very nice and good price.

This is a very cool wee spot. Chilled vibe, quirky music, casual dress, staff were attentive but not pushy.

We’ll definitely be back though, the service and atmosphere were on point! Very reasonably priced too.

The restaurant has more like a bar or pub feeling to it, which is really a nice change. They serve great vegan fast food. the mac and cheese are just the best i’ve ever had! cannot recommend enough. also they desserts looked awesome, although i hadn’t tried them.

I'd say this place suits more the junk food vegan. My burger was like a fast food burger. My partner who is not a vegan ordered a margherita pizza thinking it would be a safe bet. There was so much vegan cheese on it it was overwhelming. This was my partner's first vegan restaurant meal and unfortunately it has put him off trying vegan cheese forever. I can see how this place would be good for a vegan who is really craving junk food or cheese, but as we were just just looking for a nice vegan meal with new flavours/ingredients this was not the best place for us. We will not be back.

Mono has a great vegan menu with lots of delicious flavours and the desserts are amazing too! There’s always a great atmosphere and good music. Unfortunately some of the staff can be slow and even rude at times. It’s a shame as it’s a great place otherwise.

Positives first: the food was amazing! This was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. However we tried to eat here three times. We went about 8:45 the first night but they told us they'd stopped serving food. We tried again the next night but it was a band night and they weren't serving food. One the third day when we managed to get a table, we ordered our food, waited an hour and the waiter told us he'd given our food to another table by accident. So we had to wait even longer before we finally got our food.

Loved eating here, unfortunately due to delivery issues (same across Glasgow) they were short of many items on the menu tha we wanted. However we had a really nice meal and the atmosphere was great. Definite one for next time I’m in Glasgow.

Popped in after picking a few things up in town for a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly and quick, ordered two hot dogs one classic and other brisket cheese, came quickly and served with chips too. Chips and both hot dogs were an absolute treat and such a bargain just what we needed as a snack! Definitely be back and would recommend even to non vegans.

I had some tea, kotlet schabowy and mac and cheese and all was great. The portions were big and the food was tasty and seasoned well. Kotlet schabowy didn't taste at all like kotlet schabowy but was still very good. The staff was very friendly and would go again😄

Cute bunting and a record shop inside and big kegs on the wall!! My hot dog was a bit dry but the chips were really nice. The mac and cheese honestly made me doubt myself it was so realistic. Staff were really nice and didnr badger you too much which is super nice to find!!

If all vegan resturants are like this I'm in for a real treat. I had the To-Fish, which was enough to fill several people. Then the hot fudge sunday was simply devine. All better than the "real thing" in my humble opinion. Also, they had a lovely selection of bottled beers; I'd recommend Well Bred Red.

Tried Mono for the first time today and me and my boyfriend both agreed it was the best vegan restaurant we’d ever tried! We went for Mac and cheese, to-fish and chips and also shared the Cubano sub... all of it was so delicious. Staff were friendly and vibe was great. Plus we bought two awesome vinyls from the vinyl store inside😄

I like the food here, but the menu does feel quite small. There are usually great specials and prices are reasonable. Lower rating for the staff. Slow service and they feel quite dismissive. There are a few staff members who are lovely but on the whole not great.

Although I was not impressed by the first sight at the inside... decoration - a place is absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, lovely music, great people around, making the atmosphere nice and cosy... And above all - FOOD. I was absolutely amazed by the Seitan Chargrilled Burger, while my boyfriend had some kind of oriental coconut soup (forgot the name). It was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. Menu is clear and adjusted to your level of hunger. It offers a mix of flavors and cuisines, also when it comes to beverages (they won our hearts not only with cider, but Czech beer ;). Highly recommended!
