Amazing!

If you are in Ubud, you must visit this place. The food is super tasty and creative. Vegetables are grown in their garden. Selection of food is great. One of the best restaurants in Bali.

Pros: super tasty, wide selection, nice atmosphere and view

Cons: out of the center, a bit hard to find

Yummy yummy food

The food was amazing. The service was only okay. But if you are in Ubud this place is a must! Delicious! We had the paella and green tofu curry.

Pros: Vegan - except honey!, They make their own almond milk

Cons: Service was average

Amazing vegan retaurant

We had a lovely evening here. It was difficult to choose from the menu as everything sounded delicious. we were fortunate enough to meet the owner who explained how everything on the menu is carefully thought through by the team. They grow their own vegetables there and collect the rain water. All the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. It is a little off the beaten track but I would definitely recommend going out off your way to visit this restaurant. You wont be disappointed.

Pros: Great food, Great setting

Cons: struggled a little to find it on foot.

Great food in lovely setting

Delicious all vegan restaurants out in the jungle.

Would recommend if you want a fancy dinner while in ubud, as the food here is delicious and the service was great.
The seating is out doors but covered, so if you go in evening beware there will be mosquitos out, although they did supply us with some spray.

All the vegetables are organic and most come from their garden which is great! The presentation of the food was also great

My favourite dish was the ricetaffle.

Pros: Great food in a nice setting

Beautiful setting, beautiful flavours

Wonderful experience eating at Moksa. Food was beautiful presented and the flavours were really delicious. Everything our table of four ordered was a delight to look at and eat. The drinks were also delicious. More expensive than some places but worth the quality and integrity of what Moksa are doing with farming/ permaculture. The view of the garden and rice terraces were a treat.

Pros: Setting is stunning , All vegan , Complex flavours

Cons: A little further out of town, Make sure to make a booking

Just do it!

Go out of your way to come to this incredible restaurant. The raw and vegan selection is amazing. I’m here during low season and it’s sooo peaceful here. If my stomach were able to handle it I’d eat here all day. If you come here walk or use a motor bike for transport as the roads are not really built for cars around Moksa.

Nice for a romantic dinner

Been there several times, main dishes are creative and tasty, desserts are way to sweet, they use a huge amount of sugar and symphony dessert collection had a scoop of durian ice cream on it, surprised about that as not everyone likes durian, I didn’t, it tasted like a bad fart;)
Went there several times because it was close to my accomodation, worth trying out for a romantic dinner (bring bug spray) but nothing more special to this restaurant in my opinion.

Delish!!

Such amazing food! Staff was super friendly and accommodating to my soy allergy too! The chef made a special dressing just for me from scratch that was both gluten free and soy free! Even had me test taste it before applying it to my dish!
Setting is quaint, calm and soothing. Exactly what you would expect from this sort of place! Will be going back!
Amazing menu!

Pros: Excellent service, Delicious ingredients , Nice setting

Best food of my life

This was the best food I had in my life! Everything was perfect, the place, the staff, the portions, the price and the food was from another world. We had the curry and the bbq tempeh ribs and was so tasty! A lot of raw vegan options too! You can’t visit Bali without trying this place!

Pros: Homemade food, Amazing terrace , Raw options

Delicious food. Beautifully presented.

The food here was really flavourful. We loved it. Well presented too. Staff were friendly and helpful but not intrusive.

Good prices and lovely setting. I read somewhere online that you should book in advance. We went at 4.30 pm on a Tuesday. There were three other groups there. So no need to book.

After 5 they offered us some natural bug spray and left it on table. We thought that was a nice touch.

We'll be back!

Pros: Mainly all vegan (99%), Great service. Delicious food. , Beautifully presented. Good prices.

Cons: They use bee nectar. So technically not vegan.

Soooooo good

Definitely more refined dining but everything was stunning and yum. The only gripe would be that we were looking forward to the 'fries' that were included in our dish and they were more like steamed taro.

Pros: delicious, well presented, great drinks

Wonderful place, food and staff!

When we arrived in Ubud everyone told us how amazing this place would be so we couldn’t wait to experience it for ourselves and omg, people are right! This place has such a great feel to it, the staff treat you warm and the food is unbelievably tasty! Every dish we tried (we tried a lot) was really delicious and comforting. Below the main roofed decking where the restaurant is you have a view of the gardens where they grow most of the produce used for their food. Great place, we will definitely be back!

Pros: So much vegan tastiness, Welcoming staff, Beautiful location

Good.

We visited Moska after buying some organic fruit and essential oils from the market located beside the restaurant and had lunch afterwards. They just started (or so it looks like it) a permaculture garden but the view and noise from someone cutting down a coconut tree, was a bit disappointing. The food was good, but far from amazing. The menu was nice but the portions were tiny and everything was over priced.. think 200 ml smoothie for 5$. Yup, I wouldn’t go back but It was good.

So dissapointed

After reading the glowing reviews of Moksa my partner and I couldn't wait to try it.

I order the burger which was absolutely pathetic! It was teeny tiny (basically a slider!), came with some kind of polenta bun so you couldn't pick it up (as the bottom was soaking wet) and the whole thing crumbled as soon as you touch it. The flavor of the patty was awful...in fact, so bad I couldn't take more than one bite. It was served with pitiful 'chips' which were lightly sauteed...pretension at it's best!

My partner ordered the sandwich which was also a tiny portion and completely forgettable. We both left hungry which is unacceptable given the prices they are charging.

Pros: Friendly waiters

Cons: Tiny portions, Over priced, Over rated

Slightly Upscale Vegan and Raw Food

Moksa has a lovely atmosphere among rice fields and their permaculture garden. They have a large menu with lots of raw and heated options. Everything on the menu is vegan. We opted for the three course meal, where you can select any starter, main, and dessert for a fixed price. The food was very tasty. Portions were a little smaller than I expected but overall, the meal was very satisfying.

I would recommend getting a reservation and they were unhelpful in trying to accommodate us without a reservation, even though it was not that busy at the time.

Below My Expectations

The ambiance and service is really nice but the food is a bit oily and not that flavorfull. They should stop asking the customers if they have any reservations because they let everyone sit very randomly.

Pros: A few dishes are really tasty.

Cons: Expensive and oily.
