Super delicious

Lots of "mmmmMMM!!!" from our table, so it really hit the spot.

Moksa isn't the cheapest place, but the server assured me the portions were not tiny, and she was right. (I really hate going out to eat, ordering 2-3 dishes and leaving still hungry!)

The place was quite empty, of course, pandemic season. Staff were attentive and friendly, I never had to ask for water refills.

No complaints, happy to return.

Also the vegan cheese was tasty! I got the ballotine. It's not really a ballotine, but doesn't matter, really really tasty. Laksa was good, broth tastes way better than Green Lotus. Maybe similar to Kemulan. The last dish, I don't remember the name, but is Sweet Sour "squid", the texture is SO interesting and is really enjoyable, if you like Chinese-style sweet sour sauce.

Mushroom pâté amusé bouche was a delicious surprise.

Pros: Attentive + knowledgeable staff, Nice surroundings, Tableware and napkins are also pretty and special

Just divine!

Wow this place is so worth venturing out to for a delicious meal! The setting is so peaceful and relaxing first of all. Then the food is both plated beautifully and tastes incredible! My bf and I shared the cheese plate and enjoyed sampling 4 different vegan cheeses. He had the laksa for his main which was spicy and flavorful. I went for the chef’s bowl which was a diverse mix of tofu, tempeh and veggies. It was very satisfying, but still tastes very healthy. I look forward to dining here again next time I am in Ubud.

Overpriced and bad cuisine

The staff is utterly disrespectful. This is a shame since the owner obviously has a very interesting philosophy, but the waiters and the cook are only interested in working as little as possible. It took a miracle the waiters to look at our table and see whether we needed something. As soon as it started to rain they asked us whether we wanted to sit nearer to the kitchen, but as we were perfectly sheltered from the rain from where we were it became obvious they didn't want to go through the rain (with the gigantic umbrella they are provided with) and wanted to save themselves some work. The simple brown rice had sand in it. When I complained, the waitress asked if I wanted more brown rice. She asked if we liked spicy and we said no. She suggested the noodle soup. After some minutes (2 minutes) she brought a very spicy red chili soup. I asked her to change it, and 1 minute later she brought the same soup. I tried the sauce, which now was just coconut milk, but it WAS THE SAME SOUP with still the same vegetables, still spicy from the previous sauce. It was obvious that the cook had just let the sauce flow with the same food and put coconut milk instead in the hope the problem would disappear. As the dish was still very spicy obviously, after 10 minutes the waiter brought me a second soup that only had vegetables and coconut milk and tasted like nothing. The waitress and the staff manager were full of excuses. Very unprofessional.

Pros: Place is beautiful, Vegan!

Cons: Bad service, Bad cuisine, Sand mixed with ingredients

Great food & service, tricky to locate

The food here is very nice, we tried the watermelon caprese, the nigiri, the ragu pasta, and the jackchicken rice dish. They were all divine, the vegan cheese in the watermelon caprese especially. I should stress the meals are not just tasty, but well put together and thought out. The ambience is lovely, and for the price the experience is a bargain. My meat-eating boyfriend also LOVED the vegan food.

The restaurant is a bit out of the way, and a bit confusing to get to. They're happy to help you arrange your taxi home - the nice person at reception spoke to our cab driver over the phone and guided them there.

Amazing place

Everything we had was amazing, delicious, presented nicely. Waiters are really professional, they even ask everyone about food allergies when ordering. Both the M F Jackicken and the Rijsttafel were beyond expectations, as well as all the desserts we had.

I went to this place already several times.

As a desert they have a dish called sweet symphony it comes with 3 pcs cheesecake and ice cream it's so good.
I highly recommend this place it's really something different from the food you normally get

Play-doh pancakes :/

We were so excited to try this place for breakfast but it was a disappointment. We had the breakfast bowl and tempeh benedict. Food was bland, the only taste was salt. The only good thing was the sauce on the tempeh. After that, we thought the pancakes would save the meal, but they were the worst pancakes we had ever tried. Would not recommend this place for breakfast but maybe lunch/dinner is better.

Pros: Fully vegan

Cons: Bland food

I ate the best food in my life. This cuisine is absolutely amazing. You can try raw or heated (slow cooked) food. Every bite is heaven on earth. MUST GO & support them. There also amazing „raw-cooking classes“ available.

Pros: Raw & Heated ( slow cooking), Supporting local communities

Amazing Ambiance - Good Healthy Food - off the beaten path

You sit in these beautiful gazebos surrounded by lovely farms, and enjoy a lovely meal in the quiet setting. The menu is full of interesting plant based dishes, the presentation of the food was excellent, the service was amazing. We had the Balinese paella, eggplant rendang, Tempeh ribs and their daily living cake. The food tasted healthy but not as flavorful as we like. The road getting there was very narrow and a bit treacherous, through this narrow rice paddy field. But the restaurant is worth visiting. The highlight was when it turned to dusk, there were bats flying around. A must go-to restaurant.

Pros: extensive vegan and raw menu, healthy

Cons: not as tasty but very healthy

Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten

Title says it all (and not a claim I make lightly). I had pretty high hopes before coming here as I’ve read some good things about it and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Everything we had here tasted incredible.

We had a lentil Dahl and hummus with roasted zucchini for starters. The Dahl was really nice but the hummus was incredible. We’re pretty tough critics when it comes to hummus but this was some of the best we’ve ever tried.

We then had the jackfruit enchiladas for mains and they also tasted amazing. I don’t know what their secret is but I need to know so that I can cook food this tasty every day.

Finally we had a plate with samples of about 4 different dessert and every one of them was delicious.

I really can’t praise this place enough. They also grow most the food onsite and then use it in the kitchen which is a lovely concept, and we even almost stepped on an enormous jackfruit growing off a tree on our way out. We went in the evening and it was very dark in the area outside the restaurant, but I imagine that during the day you’d probably get some nice views of the rice fields too.

If you’re in ubud, you really have to go here! You won’t regret it.

Pros: Everything tasted incredible , Friendly staff, Great selection of vegan & raw vegan food

Cons: A bit out of the way but worth the journey, Bit dark outside the restaurant at night
