Slow service and okay pizza - Edit
We had a rough start at Mister Pizza. The staff looked unorganised and were wondering around except for the short haired girl, she was great. We finally just took a seat, waited 5 mins to get a menu watching the server with the pony tail just watch customers and chat with the woman out of uniform who looked like she may have been the manager. Finally I got up and grabbed the menus at the service station making it obvious that we had waited a while.
Read moreThere were quite a few vegan options which was impressive. I ended up getting the marinara pizza with vegan cheese. The sauce was nice, the cheese is what you would expect for vegan pizza cheese, the dough was fresh. Wish I had ordered more toppings like zucchini or mushrooms.
Back to the service, we had to flag down the waitress with the ponytail who didn’t seem like she was taking orders. She took out a phone to take our orders on. I got my wine within 5 mins, 15 mins go by and we have to flag them down again to ask for my husband’s wine. The short hair girl then comes up and asks us which one we ordered because obviously the server with the ponytail did not take the order properly. Another 5 mins go by and they finally bring his wine.
My husbands pizza then comes out and looks great. 10 mins go by and I still haven’t got my pizza yet which was the most simple ingredients! Again we have to flag down the staff to ask if it’s coming. I would say it then took an additional 5 mins to get my pizza and my husband had already finished his.
Overall the pizza was pretty average, and the service was lazy, except for the server with the short hair who looked like she was picking up the slack from the lazy other servers. This is located directly across from the Duomo which makes it a busy place, however, it was not completely full when we were there and doesn’t make up for the lazy servers.
Pros: Vegan options , Central location
Cons: Slow service , Average pizza , Inexperienced staff

Most delicious Marinara pizza - Edit
It was my first time in Florence and after a long day of exploring, we sat down at Mister pizza ready for dinner. We definitely didn’t expect it to be that amazing - the pizza base was so thin towards the Centre and then thick at the crust. Heavenly. We were also served by the sweetest waitress, Paradise ✨ also great prices!!!

Great gluten free base - Edit
Friendly staff, our waitress Paradis was super accommodating and knowledgable and knew English really well. I ordered the gluten free Funghi pizza with vegan cheese and it was pretty good, especially the base. Only gripe is that they use coconut oil based vegan cheese which can sometimes be a bit plasticky - it’s not my favourite but I’m definitely not complaining about the vegan gluten free pizza I found in Florence! Only other note is that HappyCow said they’re are closed in Sunday’s and they’re actually open 7 days a week.

Amazing Vegan Pizza - Edit
We walked in and asked about vegan options and the lovely waitress said there was vegan cheese for the pizzas. We ordered the Funghi and the Vegetariana with vegan cheese. The wait was around 10 minutes as it was very busy. The food was out of this world, such cheesy cheese which is so nice, the pizza crust was delicious too! Would recommend for vegan visitors to Florence!

Pizza with a view - Edit
I had the fungi pizza with vegan cheese. It was really quite good and we had a nice view of Duomo as well. Pizzas can be easily made vegan and are marked as well which ones you can ask for vegan. Only downside is that there is a cover charge but is kind of expected considering the lovely view.

Tasty - Edit
We went after a night out (it’s open til 4am!!! This was a Saturday) and I saw the leaf symbol next to the pizzas at a quick glance so assumed it was veggie. When I went in the absolutely lovely waitress told me they had vegan cheese!!! It was great service and an even nicer pizza. I had the Funghi.

Delicious and cheap - Edit
There are 5 pizzas which can be made vegan. It's not quite a huge variety but they're really great. The vegan cheese they use is tasteful and creamy, and the Marinara pizza is amazing! The prices go from 6 to 9 aprox. I totally recommend this place, we went once to try it and then came back next day!

Modern & tasty - Edit
I opted for a vegan Margherita pizza which was delicious. Any of the pizzas on the menu with a V next to them can be made vegan by swapping the normal cheese for vegan cheese.

Tasty Vegan Pizza with a view! - Edit
Not a giant vegan section, but still good options.
Read moreI think the (v) next to it means that it can be made vegan, but isn't automatically so I would always ask and double check. I had the fungi pizza which was very good. Nice melted vegan cheese. The crust was thicker than most Italian pizzas which was nice for a change. Great view of the Duomo. Also had the vegan tiramisu which I don't think is homemade. Wasn't really a tiramisu, but still yummy (was 5 euros though... Pizza was 7 and very filling. Staff was also very lovlely
Pros: Vegan options + vegan cheese , Vegan dessert, great view & service
Cons: Needs more vegan options, Needs to specify to ask for vegan version

Ask them - Edit
Had a pizza that had a vegan and gluten free sign on the menu. Didn’t taste like vegan cheese to me and the crust was definitely not gluten free. Maybe ask them to make it vegan I’m not sure. The pizza was great on the other hand.

pizza with decent vegan cheese - Edit
Good size, dough was great and generous with the toppings. Vegan cheese is really cheesy (almost reminds of cheddar I think) but good enough to satisfy the need for pizza with cheese in Italy. Also had pizza without cheese and great too.

La pizza que probamos, la "vegetariana" en versión vegana, estaba bastante rica. Tienen cuatro o cinco tipos diferentes de pizza vegana para elegir. El servicio me ha parecido normal: ni bueno, ni malo

Great pizza with lousy service - Edit
Several vegan options to choose from. It was nice to find vegan cheese. The service was lousy, however. Super slow and really inattentive. After placing our drink orders (just wine!) they took 30 minutes to arrive! But, the location is great and the pizza was quite good so I’d give it a pass. Just don’t be in a hurry, maybe consider getting take out.
