Greasy but Good - Edit
Enjoyed trying some of the popular local dishes vegan style. Tasty food, but greasy (perhaps just what I ordered).

Food ok, but small portions and a bit pricey. We had eggplant in tamarin sauce and fried rice with papaya salad and tofu both small and costs us 80000.

Pretty good - Edit
I had the 1 person set meal, which included fried spring rolls, wontons, white rose, and Cao Lau. I was excited that I got to try two local specialities (white rose and Cao Lau). The white rose was really good—it reminded me of a weird mix between nian gao and auricula mushrooms. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Cao Lau, but I’m not sure if it’s the fault of this restaurants technique or whether I just don’t like the dish overall. The fried spring rolls were really good.
Read moreI generally enjoyed my food here, but I like some fo the other outlets in Hoi An better—they are cheaper, simpler, and I just liked the flavors there a bit better. Here, I felt a bit heavy after the meal, and I feel that it was more oily than at other places.

We had lunch here a couple of times and we loved it! The setting is nice and the menu offers many vegan options. I loved the eggplant in banana leaf .

Amazing - Edit
I would highly recommend this restaurant, both locations are awesome. I tried a lot of meals cause I went two times. I would recommend to taste the local specialties such as white rose, the papaya or banana blossom salad and the tofu cooked in banana leaf. Try to have a combo tasting meal for two! High quality and super tasty and fresh. Service was really good.

We shared menu 1 with local food specialities and liked it a lot. We could try four different dishes and all were yummy. The atmosphere was nice and the staff friendly. Would go there again.

A pleasant restaurant with vegan options - Edit
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very pleasant. The food is indeed Vietnamese but with a twist. Upgraded flavors to familiar dishes. They also have cooking classes in place.

DELICIOUS FOOD - Edit
Everything we had was delicious: the white roses (filled with mushroom), the wonton soup, and the "sweet soup with snow fungus and aloe Vera" as a dessert.
Read moreSome people from the staff were not really helpful nor smiling, that's why I don't rate them 5 stars, but I still recommend to give it a go! They also offer cooking classes (15$) and cooking classes tours (24$) which both sound interesting
Pros: food, especially the white roses, cute place

Popular and with good reason. - Edit
Ate here twice during my stay in Hoi An. Open my last night I chose to spend out on the set menu for 1 which is 99,000d. It included lovely crispy spring roles, fried wanton, a veggie version of White Rose, and a Noodle dish. A lot to eat but worth it. The restaurant also offer cooking courses - something I would love to do.

A must in Hoi An! - Edit
We had varied service the 4 times we ate here, but the food makes up for it. If you’re only in Hoi An for a few days make sure you go- huge menu and delish food! They have a smaller and quieter restaurant (Minh Hien 2) with the same menu which is just as good!

Minh hein is great. You can order a la carte or from a set menu. We liked it so much we went back a second time. It is really popular with tourists. It’s not the cheapest restaurant in Vietnam however it is very tasty and easy. We paid $22.00 AUD for 4, which included 4 mains and an entree, 2 coconuts and a beer.

Amazing!! - Edit
A wonderful restaurant that is large, comfortable and has a great atmosphere. There is a large menu consisting of local food at very cheap prices. Go for one of the sets, designed for varying numbers of people. Prices are unbeateble especially with the local beer at just 5000d per glass, they're practically giving it away.
Read moreService is very prompt and efficient even when they're busy. Food is a little on the oily side but that is typical of local food.
This place is a real winner in Hoi An. I haven't been to the second location but am told it is even nicer.
Pros: Cheap as chips, Fast service, Great tasting food
Cons: Not all vegan, Dishes on the oily side

Welcoming staff, lots of tasty options on the menu. We shared the papaya salad, sauteed veg curry, sauteed veg and mushroom noodles, 2x potatoes with soy bean sauce, and lightly fried tofu with chilli and lemongrass between 5 people. Our favourite dish was the potatoes!! Unique set up with bookshelves along the walls.

Our favourite food in Hoi An and great cooking class! - Edit
We ate here at least 4 times and really loved the food and the setting of the restaurant- recommend the rice pancakes and the fresh beer and iced Vietnamese tea (tra dah) are great value for money. As we enjoyed the food we also did the cooking class- not as professional as other classes we have done but we did enjoy the informal nature of it and the fact that we could choose any 3 dishes from the menu to learn to make. Just a small thing but it would have been nice to have been offered a drink while we were waiting for the class to start or during the class- no little extras with this class at all but maybe we are just too used to being pampered!
