Hard to pick a dish because it looks delicious - Edit
The restaurant is small and cozy and it’s best to book a table up front. We had a very hard time choosing a dish from the menu: everything looked incredibly delicious. The menu changes with the seasons and everything is local and organic. Besides that: it looks beautiful, and it tastes amazing! We will be back for sure and try those other delicious dishes on the menu!

Vegan heaven in Malaga - Edit
Had lunch yesterday in Mimo Vegan Bistro, what an absolute delight it was! This was the first time myself and my husband had been there, it will not be the last. The menu is a total plant based gem. We are both 100% plant based ethical vegans and have been for many a year. We have experienced vegan fare from Vietname to Ushuaia, all has been very good too but this place is exceptional, the imagination and creativity of the chef cannot be overrated, she is a real star. We could have had everything on the menu, what we did have was so so so excellent, so tasty, so fine, so light, so damn good! The wines are super too, all ethically produced and the particular little star here was the sparkling rose wine we had when we first arrived, it was delicious. The whole experience was just perfect. The hosts and waiters were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, without being overbearing. We just loved it and the best part for us, we live in Marbella so this total gem is just a shortish drive away!

Explosión de sabores! - Edit

A gem in Malaga worth visiting - Edit
Eating at MIMO is the most pleasant experience for your eyes, taste buds, and soul altogether. It's nourishing, local, delicious and the presentation is outstanding. You wouldn't really expect being introduced to ingredients, origins, and preparation methods of your meal in a small eatery, would you? In MIMO, you feel that they definitely are going the extra mile, both in customer service and plant-based cooking. Every single time I come for a meal there is something new to try, and I must say their vegan cakes are worth taking home with to share with those who still doubt that a cake could be vegan AND absolutely luscious.

This is by far the best restaurant we’ve came across. The food is amazing, with so many interesting and delicious flavor combinations. I love that the menu is constantly changing after season. If you have to choose only one restaurant for the rest of your life - this is the one.

It's a small healthy food vegan bistro where it's visible that people love their job. Service is really kind (it's a Polish family), food is amazing and they have coffee with plant-based drink. I had a sushi sandwich and kashotto - amazing, very tasty and healthy.

Wide your palette of taste - Edit
the perfect place who like healthy food. It is considered vegan, where they cook from fresh farms' seasonal products.
Read moreThus, menu changes.
Small cozy endearing place with kind personal (some from Poland, familiar hear similar language😊).
After serving it is even explained what exactly came.
I ordered gazpacho ( like transitional spanish cold soup), but it was also with water melon - fresh taste ( although berry berry shall match up) on top - avocado, mint and olive oil.
The kitchen is open, products on sight, so you can observe whole process
Pros: vegan, unusual recipes, organic products

All vegan, all gluten free and all delicious - Edit
This was the nicest food I’ve had out in a long time. This place really lives up to the name “bistro”. Was great service as well as fantastic food. They do cocktails too. All produce is locally sourced so the menu changes according to the season as it should. Very natural and very impressive. Certainly a place for a special occasion or even if you just fancy some high class food.

Excellent - Edit
The food and service were excellent and the place it’s self is lovely. Had the starter (can’t remember the name) which was crisp bread topped with different toppings, the ramen for main which included veg, shiitake mushrooms & a meat substitute made form tempeh as well as the pear tart & ice cream for dessert. All of which were excellent and very tasty. Would recommend.

A world-class gem, unlike any other in the region. - Edit
My girlfriend and I have standards. Very high standards. She's Japanese, I'm Canadian, and we both now live in Switzerland. One could say, we're accustomed to a certain certain standard of service, and quality. If this sounds arrogant, so be it: but don't focus on us. This is about the restaurant. From the moment you enter, you know you're in the right place. The atmosphere is classy, elegant, yet- without being posh or overbearing. The owners (I believe they are a family - all working together at the place) are first time restaurant owners, if memory serves me correct - and yet, they deliver at a standard you'd expect at a Michelin-star restaurant. The food is delightful, sourced properly, fresh, and prepared with genuine care - down to every detail. You won't see any fried junk, smothered in oil, riddled with salt, and doused with sugar, in order to appeal to the most basic senses. These guys really do care - and it shows. The way they explain the menu, the ingredients they use, and of course - the final product. Both my girlfriend and I have been vegan for several years, so as many of you guys know - finding a vegan restaurant is one thing. But finding a vegan restaurant that genuinely knows what they're doing, and caters (with love) to us - is another story.
Read moreThese guys will exceed your expectations, regardless of the standards you're accustomed to. We visited a few other vegan restaurants while in Malaga on a short stay, and felt disappointed that we had saved this place for our last evening in Malaga. Had we discovered it earlier - this would have been our daily place to eat. Be assured, on our next time in town- this is the only place we'll eat at.
Thank you - to everyone at Mimo, for the truly wonderful culinary experience!
PS. Small tip: try their ice cream. It honestly tastes better than traditional non-vegan ice cream. How they do it... I have no idea. It's absolutely superb! The way they prepare mushrooms is also quite spectacular - highly recommended.
Pros: Great Price, Superb Service, Wonderful
Cons: Wish they had longer opening hours., Often busy (as it should be). Recommend reserving.

A (gf) culinary experience!! - Edit
The friends who run this place are so kind and welcoming. You can tell by how they react when you tell them how delicious everything is that they really put their heart and soul into the food. Everything is gluten-free, and they were great with my mother who’s coeliac about explaining where gluten cross-contamination was at all possible and adapting if necessary.

Delicious and seasonable vegan food - Edit
Wow, this place is fantastic! We had one of the nicest meals we have ever eaten. All produce is local, seasonal and bought directly from the farmers who they meet. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly and talk you through each dish. The food was delicious and really interesting. It is all gluten free and no added sugar as well as totally vegan.
Read moreWe had the ‘pinketti’ and ‘shirisotto’ (or something along those lines!). The pinketti was brown rice beetroot based pasta in a creamy sauce with roasted broccoli, seeds, vegan Parmesan and a delicious, tangy caper sauce. The other dish was a kind of risotto made with buckwheat, oyster mushrooms, Brussel sprouts, crispy tofu and nuts. Finally we shared the most incredible pear tart for dessert! It was one of the best desserts we have ever had!!
The place is small and we were lucky to get a table without booking so definitely worth calling ahead to book.

Mimo serves heaven in your plate - Edit
I heard about this restaurant since the first day I arrived in Malaga but somehow life brought me to visit it towards the very end of my stay.
Read moreMimo is a cosy little restaurant located in a quiet street of the city centre. It is run by a lovely family of passionate humans.
Their concept is just amazing - all the food that is served on your plate comes directly from the producer who they meet in person. Every ingredient is organic, fresh and of the highest quality. They put effort in preparing healthy food with care, dedication and love - you can definitely taste this secret ingredient of theirs (not so secret anymore!)
The staff is sooooooooo nice, thank you so much for the great work you do!
