Mildreds, established since 1988, operates several restaurants in London. Its changing menu offers British classics as well fusion meals, with example dishes like mushroom pie, Indian curry, lentil burger, tortilla chips and gucamole, burger with fries, waffles, and a vegan brownie with ice cream. Fully vegan as of Jul 2021. This branch has a spacious open kitchen layout and is in the student quarter of Kings Cross. Narrow wheelchair access. Open Mon-Sat 09:00-23:00, Sun 09:00-22:00.

I’ve been to this location a couple times and the food is lovely. They have some staples and seasonal items. I really enjoyed the Korean Burger and Fennel Sausage and Mash and would recommend.

Went to Mildred’s last night for dinner and everything was great. We started with the chipotle cheez nachos which were lovely. For the mains, we had the shiitake tempeh noodles and Korean fried chick’n burger. For drinks, I had the butterscotch espresso martini which was very yummy. Everything was great.

Food is superb. I took a colleague who is vegetarian but had not been to a vegan restaurant. They were amazed how good it was. We shared two mains - a curry and mixed rice dish - both super delicious. I then had the cheesecake for dessert and it was equally good. Waiting staff very friendly, cosy atmosphere- can’t wait to return or try one of the other outlets when I’m next in London.

Everyone enjoyed their food, even the omnis. Had the Korean chicken sandwich, the shiitake tempeh noodles, the ginger sticky toffee, and the Carmel cookie cheesecake. Honestly all dishes were outstanding. Only ordered the sticky toffee because it’s such a traditional British dessert, so I wasn’t too excited about it, but it ended being AUH-MAZ-ING! Highly recommend this place!

I took my Omni brother there for dinner and we each got the Korean fried chicken burger. It was incredible! We promised ourselves that we would go back for dinner but we messed up and rolled the dice somewhere else. Will be going back next week.

Read moreI had the loaded nachos, which was a huge portion with plenty of toppings and the alma bowl, which tasted great and was full of healthy components.
The only downside is that their drinks options are somewhat limited.
We went on a Monday night and the place was pretty crowded. I would suggest making a reservation beforehand.
Service was also quick and staff was very helpful and nice.

Read moreAlways a wide range if delicious vegan offers, large burger menu, salads, curry's. I had the Laska on my last visit really tasty. Also a fair few deserts and the cocktails also worth a try. It is a bit on the higher end for cost but one of the best vegan joints in London.
