Friendly staff, cozy and relaxed atmosphere, situated very close to the city centre. We had mozzarella sandwhich, inca salad and seitan wrap. Everything was delicious and fresh!

Great place for a quick but delicious vegan lunch in Ghent. The location is central, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cosy. Highly recommended: the Mozzarella Sandwich. Amazing!

The whole place has a very personal touch decoration wise and very friendly staff. Nice warm sandwiches served. The icecream is ok. The sweet bakeries are better!

The sandwich with "cheese" is my favorite. The mozzarella or hummus sandwich is also nice. They also have biological drinks and vegan brownies/cupcakes/pie. Great for lunch!

Delicious vegan lunch and afternoon snack - Edit
I had lunch (a hummus sandwhich) and later in the day went back to have the "mozzarella" sandwhich and chocolate ice cream. Everything is vegan super delicious! The owner is very friendly. And they also have vegan muffins and croissants! Certainly visit it when you are in Ghent.

Amazing place for a nice brunch or lunch in the centre of Ghent.

There are already enough reviews on this place, so it feels kind of redundant writing a long review repeatinf everything,
One thing I will add, the restaurant is small, with few seats. You might have to take it to go since it's always busy.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the broodje that I ordered. My "Champignon à la Greque" was just what a broodje ought to be: crunchy, savoury, flavourful, delicious, and filling!

We came here for a late breakfast and we're happy to find a selection of tasty sandwiches to choose from. We had one with vegan cheese and one with homemade lentil salad/pâté. The cheese wasn't quite our taste (probably Wilmersburger) but the lentil salad was super delicious. The bread was very good, too. We finished off with a (probably homemade) chocolate croissant. Since it's hard to come by these things in a decent quality, we were extremely happy to find this one being really really good.

We wondered past this lovely cafe while in Gent and the vegan food was great. The sandwiches were fresh and large, great soy hot chocolate and vegan pastries! Would definitely recommend!

Read moreThe sandwiches/broodjes are delicious. I had the "cheese" broodje which was very good, and had a taste of the champignon a la greque which was superb. The bread is very fresh and crunchy, in an artisanal baguette style.
The girl serving the food is very friendly and helpful, the decor is nice and relaxed.
Prices are very reasonable and the drink options were tasty and refreshing. If I was spending any length of time in Ghent, I would definitely come back here a few times.

The hummus sandwiches are the best ever, the bread is so fresh. The coffee is perfect and the pastries look and taste amazing. It's also ridiculously cheap. $4.80 for a coffee and pastry. Love this place!

I was visiting Gent for one day and saw this new establishment in happy cow. They had only been opened for 3 days!! The lady was so nice, even though they had already closed. She even gave me free coffee and I tasted one of the vegan muffins, delicious!!! :)

A lovely place in the old town - Edit
I accidentally walked by and noticed the vegan sign, so happy I walked in. The staff was very nice and helpful, turns out it just recently opened, but the options are very nice. There's even gluten free food! I had the brownie and it was amazing, I'm sure I'll return there for more.

I went to Mie Vie for a breakfast on a Friday morning. We were served quickly and very friendly. The coffee was very good, just as the lentil spread sandwich I had with it: just enough of veggies to top of the spread. Trendy minimal interior with a lot of wood and plants. Cosy atmosphere. Adequate menu.
