Serves meat, vegan options available. Small chain of restaurants serving bar food and grilled cheese sandwiches. The melted sandwiches have the option of vegan cheese with vegan protein substitution including chorizo potato hash, seitan, tofu bacon, a burger, meatloaf, or chick'n. Surprisingly abundant options - Edit
I was avoiding this chain forever because I thought “how many options could a place called ‘Melt’ have for vegans?”. I’m glad I gave it a shot. It really is a vegan-friendly chain. And they do a great job with their vegan alternatives. Very satisfying.

Huge vegan menu - Edit
Cheezy comfort food, and without any animals harmed in the making - what could be better?? I love that Melt has such an extensive vegan menu including salads, apps, sandwiches, and Mac n cheese. A little pricey compared to the non vegan counterparts, but that's probably not the restaurants fault..
Read moreUpdate: the last two times I've visited, the food hasn't been great, though maybe I just have been choosing wrong - the PB sandwich was just mediocre and the vegan crispy chicken salad was actively bad. They also gave me the vegetarian instead of the vegan chili. Very disappointed.

Epic Grilled Cheese - Edit
This is such a fun restaurant concept! They have tons of gourmet grilled cheese sandwich options and almost anything can be made vegetarian or vegan. They have a separate menu for Gluten Free and Veg/Vegan with customizable options and plant based swaps. I’ve not had a bad item here yet!

After arriving in Columbus from a long flight we stopped here for dinner. We were hungry, but, at least for us, it was actually too much food. We each ordered the Mushroom Melt with vegan mozzarella; I got fries and my wife got a side salad. We could easily have split one sandwich. If we lived nearby we would most likely have taken leftovers home, but being from out of town, we stuffed ourselves.

This place offer a vegan menu with plenty of alternatives. I love the mac & cheese, tofu wings and Parma Italy. The Parma Italy sandwich was small if you compare to others so the price is a bit high. I love the fact that you can make almost anything vegan in the menu.

This place offers a separate vegan menu that features many grilled cheeses, Mac and cheese with a variety of toppings, Beyond chicken, tofu wings, and so much more. I personally love their Mac and cheese and tofu wings, but everything I’ve had there is amazing. Plus, Bitchy Vegan [censored] comes in once a month to sell his all vegan pastries!

Melt has their own vegan menu. Yay! Be sure to check for items with an asterisk (*) indicating the use of shared fryers. I ordered the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger made with the homemade vegan black bean burger, (Beyond Burger also available), house made peanut butter, vegan bacon and vegan mozzarella. If you haven't yet had peanut butter on a burger, you must!

OMG! I finally found a place that has a delicious grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. I had to ask if the grilled cheese was infact vegan as it was that good. As others have said they have a fully dedicated vegan menu and I'd say at least half or more of the menu can be veganize with vegan chx,beyond meat, tofu and multiple vegan cheese. If you used to love fried comfort foods this can be your new place. Oh wait they have vegan ranch too!!!!

Besides the regular menu, this restaurant also offers an huge vegan menu! ( they have a big gf menu as well ) They offer sandwiches, appetizers, soups, salads, and more!! (Not super healthy, but delicious nonetheless) Definitely recommend to vegans who are looking for variety and tasty food.

These are monster grilled cheese sandwiches! Almost anything on the menu can be veganized & they recently developed a completely separate vegan menu! They have vegan mock meats (meatloaf, chicken, etc) & cheeses. I highly recommend the buffalo tofu wings!

No separate fryer - Edit
If you order vegan they don't inform you they use the same fryer for meat. Some items come with fries and you pay for it even if you don't want them. So an up crg for vegan cheese grilled cheese with no fries is pretty pricy.

Hit and miss experiences at Easton location - Edit
I've had really delicious food at the Melt at Easton and I've had food that was near inedible. It's really unfortunate how inconsistent it has been.
Read moreThe sandwiches are indulgent, and they have great vegan options like seitan and vegan chick for their sandwiches. Also they offer vegan cheese to substitute for dairy (there is upcharge for vegan cheese). They also have tofu wings and offer vegan ranch for dipping.
The online menu says that there is a veggie burger available on the kids menu. However, when we tried to order it the staff said that they don't actually offer one.
I only wish that the food was consistently good, otherwise I would give them a higher rating.
Pros: Great drinks, Lots of seating, Great vegan options
Cons: Food inconsistent, $2 Upcharge for vegan cheese
