One of the nicer Meets in town - Edit
Food is good, but some days better than others. This location is cleaner and has better decor than other 2 locations. They’ve stepped it up a bit, which is good.

I’ve been to all the meets and I go as often as I can. Everything they offer is so delicious and I’ve been going there for years now. It’s the best restaurant with lots of gluten free options as well!

Woahhhh! - Edit
Firstly, when we walked in this place. We were like wooooaaaah! This place is stunning. And woah! This place is busy! And woah this place is happenening. And Woah EVERYTHING IS VEGAN! The menu is overwhelming but we ordered the "bacon" cheese burger... and every bite was melt in your mouth. The texture of the burger was a bit real tasting compared to other burgers we have eaten. It had a bit of a "meaty" texture. The dessert menu looks amazing but we didn't order any because we were too full! We ended up sitting at the bar because we didn't want to wait for a table. Cool place! Highly recommend!

Great food! Loads of options! - Edit
This is such a wonderful experience. To have a fully vegan restaurant is such a treat. I had the poutine as a starter and the flavors were so good! The house made burger has a unique flavor and texture to it, not bad, just different. I do like the option of swapping it for Beyond Burger! (Read that after I ordered). Great dessert options as well!

All the Meet locations have awesome and delicious food, but the Yaletown location also boasts a big patio perfect for summer evenings.

Fun but not amazing - Edit
Had a burger and fries. Fries over cooked in tired oil. Burger good in tradition of oversized burgers that need a knife or skewer to hold them together. Great location and balcony. Coffee very sad
Read morePros: Good vegan options, Good healthy options apart from burgers, Great balcony - replicates a fun burger place

Not amazing - Edit
This restaurant is in a funky location and our meals came out really fast, but the food itself was a bit underwhelming. The poutine came out stone cold, the barbecue burger just had no subtlety of flavour, just the one overpowering flavour of very sweet barbecue sauce. The sweet chilli cauliflower was OK, but we expected more after reading the hype.

Average at best - Edit
I really don't get the popularity of the MeeT chain. I ate at the one in Gastown last year and had pretty much the same experience. Mediocre food, unbearable noise level, toasty room temperature... Prices were affordable, and that's about the only thing that it had going for it. I feel like it's more of a restaurant for vegan-curious omnivores or new converts.

Nice comfort food - Edit
Came here with an omni person, I got the portabello burger, she got the taco salad and we split the poutine. Food was really good but a lot of the dishes tasted similar. The "feta" isn't anything special, it just tastes like tofu.

Hit and Miss - Edit
Went for dinner and we were really excited after reading some of the reviews and seeing the menu, there were some good points, but ultimately we were disappointed.
Read moreHad the Sweet Chili Cauliflower appetizer - was good - not too heavy and a deep flavor. Ordered a couple burgers - I ordered the double-double and the other half ordered The Main. Frankly we have no idea if they were made right - I ordered mine without coconut bacon (just wanted the house-made) but it was on there - decided not to ask for it to be remade. Their house patties were really bland (they do have the Beyond Burger as an alternate but I take issue with restaurants that use branded ingredients that I could buy and make at home), veggies were meh - tomatoes were pretty light in color, bun was weirdly crunchy. Fries were okay; and I didn't care for the salad - house dressing was strange - my other half liked it though. However, ordered the Cronut for dessert - it was great!
Biggest issue over the hit and miss on the food - the waits between courses were eternal - was a good 20 minutes after we finished our appetizer till our burgers came out, and then another 15-20 minutes for our dessert after our mains were cleared. They were either understaffed or just not working with any sense of urgency. I know our server was apologizing to a lot of the tables around us for the waits - not sure if that's a regular thing or not. Also it was really steamy in the restaurant - we were near the thermostat and it was reading 83.
Pros: Cronut was great!, Sweet Chili Cauliflower app was good, Prices are fair
Cons: Really lengthy waits between courses, Burger patties bland, Uncomfortably warm in the cafe

Wow! - Edit
The best vegan food I've had! I had a thai rice noodle bowl with almond sauce, veggies and cashews. So big, no way I could finish! My boyfriend had a burger with gauc and queso on it with fries. He is a meat eater, but recently gave up beef/pork and he said it was the best burger he has ever had and even better because none of it will lead to an upset stomach. It was my birthday, so they comped a chocolate torte (heaven!!) for me which was a sweet gesture. There was many things on the menu I wanted to try, so we will be back before our trip to Vancouvee ends..I only wish this restaurant would come to Ontario, it knocks it out of the park in every way (food taste/quality, options, aesthetic, staff and cleanliness). I have heard there is 2 more in Vancouver so maybe there will be hope for expansion eventually!

Vegan Poutine!! - Edit
First time in Canada and ate here on the first night- of course to sample Poutine! I had the classic version and my husband (non vegan) had the BC curry version - both were phenomenal- very impressed by this place. Service was friendly and food came quite quickly although it was on the quiet side.

If there's an afterlife, it has MeeT. This is what happiness tastes like. I had the vegan poutine, mac n cheese burger, and a cronut. Yes, I felt sick, but it was SO worth it. Canada is heaven for vegans. I loved everything about this place. Hip ambiance, good service, excellent food.

Third Addition to the Meet Family Does Not Disappoint! - Edit
Attending the soft opening of Meet In Yaletown was such a treat! This space offers a beautiful interior and design true to the heart of Yaletown. Although the menu was largely the same as the Main and Gastown locations, the regular favorites were as delicious as always. I’m looking forward to some interesting new features and a fabulous summer patio!

Another location of this amazing restaurant! It's our favorite place to go for vegan food. Always consistent and delicious, our favorites are the mac and cheese, the noodley thai, sweet chili cauliflower and the burgers of course! They have even introduced the famous Beyond Burger at the time of opening the new location, so good!
