Just ok. Expensive

Had takeaway. The crab cake was good. Accompanying potatoes just ok. Red beans and rice had little more than ⅛ cup of rice and large styrofoam container (16 oz) of mostly liquid and a quarter cup of beans at most. Not all that tasty. Grilled vegetables and brown rice were dripping with grease. Very expensive for mediocre food, all in styrofoam containers. Given two forks and knives, and ketchup without asking if needed, which was wasteful. The fellow in charge spoke down to one of his employees in front of me. Surprisingly, I was very disappointed.

Pros: Crab cakes good

Cons: Waste and containers, Most choices unhealthy with too much grease. , Expensive.

Delicious vegan king cake and gumbo

I have never had gumbo or king cake before, and I'm so happy that they had vegan ones!! It was so good. The staff is very friendly and there are lots of vegan options. Once you order, you can walk around the market and they text you when your order is ready.

These crab cakes

I am obsessed with these vegan crab cakes. I’ve never had crab cakes with actual crabs so I can’t compare, but these crab cakes are the best things I’ve had! I normally don’t like seafood replacements but this is not fishy at all and very savory. Quite pricey, but such is the French market.

Great Vegan option

Finding high quality vegan food with more than one option was a task in NOLA. However- this place was fantastic! Located in the French market the vibe was really chill and the employees were wonderful. We ate three times on our trip! The blueberry pancakes, vegan gumbo, and the crab cake poboy were amazing! (I'd love to see them add some vegan shrimp to the mix!)

Omg those vegan crab cakes!!

The vegan Crab Cake Poboy was incredible!! The downsides were the price which was extreme. A poboy and a 12oz juice cost nearly $30. And the service was very slow. If u can wait, its worth it Bc it was delicious.

Pros: Delicious food!

Cons: Expensive , Very slow :/

I loved the vegan crab cake po boy I ate here. However, the place used a lot of disposables and forgot my drink order (they forgot I had ordered a drink).

Good option for a market

Glad they have so many vegan options to choose from but I will say, if they tell you a wait time, double it, they said 15 minutes and it ended up being 40. I will also say that I agree with someone else’s review in that they don’t seem to care about making recycling a priority and serve most things in plastic or with plastic and toss it into the trash...bummer

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Reasonable prices for serving sizes

Cons: Crowded , Long wait time , Not as ‘earth friendly’ as they claim

Several Vegan Options, but meh...

It’s important to note this place is an open-air eatery within the French Market. It’s like a fixed “cart” with about 6 stools. It’s good for people-watching, but not very cozy. It’s great to have so many vegan options, and the food isn’t bad. One thing that really bothered me: everything is served on paper and styrofoam which they carelessly toss into a trash can afterwards (not a recycle bin, where appropriate). I would hope/expect a restaurant that boasts healthy alternatives to care a little more about the planet.
