Great falafel place

One of the first go to places for vegans in Amsterdam, and we’ve got to love them for it. Service is fast (and usually friendly) and the food is good, as it always has been.

You can refill your pita with sauce and veggies as many times as you like.

Nice falafel

Good place for a nice falafel. Also whole grain pitas are offered. Stuff is very friendly. Wide rage of salad (toppings) for your pita. You can just add them on your own to your pita. Finally some hot sauce that deserves its name

Pros: Really hot sauce, Whole grain pita available , Wide rage of salad toppings

Delicious & Convenient

Had a whole wheat pita with falafel and humus. The falafels are fresh and very tasteful. I love that you can fill up your falafel pita yourself with desired fillings and sauces, like all sorts of veggies, coriander/spicy/tahina/mango sauce, pickles, chickpeas, etc. The price is great for what you get: fresh falafel, loaded with veggies & sauce of choice, and you can even refill your pita if you want more veggies/sauce. A real taste bud tantalizer, haha.

Pros: Fresh, Great price/ Product ratio, Choose fillings yourself

Really good falafel and the choose-your-own-filling bar is top!

The homemade falafels tast delicious, and the fillings you can choose yourself - all of them fresh and really good, also everything is vegan (just one sauce isn't, but its declared).

Pros: Fresh, Almost everything vegan, Tasty homemade falafels

poor service and bland food

I went here with my husband yesterday and the food was awful. I had a "salad" which was a few shreds of lettuce and toppings with falafel. My husband had a pita that he said was okay, but he'll eat just about anything. Nothing was marked vegan and it took forever.

Cons: everything

great falafel for a great price!

This falafel bar is amazing. Is genuinely cooked in front of you, and you get a wrap with delicious pick-your-self salad (go for the curried carrot!!). If you don't want a wrap, you can get a salad box but unfortunately you cannot help yourself to more salad once the box is filled (something which is a bonus of getting the wrap)! There is another downer, it's a very small place with only 5/6 seats, so if you're happy taking food on the go it's perfect but don't be disappointed in standing if otherwise. But it is truely great food on the go, mac Donald's for veggies/vegans!❤️

Maoz...plus seats

As the poster below me has already noted, this has everything you would expect from a Moaz: fresh falafel, a wide range of all-you-can-eat salad, plus extras, but also with many mre seats than the other locations, so there isn't the need to eat in a rush or balance everything. Unfortunately, as also seems to be the norm for Maoz, the staff are not particularly friendly.

Pros: quality, value, seating

Cons: staff not friendly

Good and Inexpensive

As part of the Maoz chain, this restaurant offers good healthy food options like the falafel with lots of salad. You can choose yourself if you want to add some less healthy sauces to that, and maybe extend your menu with fries if you're really hungry. But often, the falafel sandwich is already enough to fill your stomach, and it is always made fresh and surely tastes good! This particular branch is the only one outside the city center of Amsterdam, meaning it is less crowded and comfortable, and enables the staff to keep it more clean. That's why I like going here.

Pros: Healthy food, Inexpensive, fits everyone's budget, Less busy, more comfortable branch
