So many vegan options - Edit
The menu is really great, so many vegan options! My kid really liked rice with beetroot and beans but for me two of three dishes were to salty and noodles completely flavorless ☹️

Great Restaurant - Edit
Nice restaurant with many (clearly labeled) vegan options. I had the noodles with vegetables which was really good except the tofu was a little too salty for my taste. My partner went for the black rice dish which was also delicious. For vegan desert they had strawberry ricotta which I didn't try since I was pretty full from my main dish but it sounded lovely. Would definitely come back here again.

Good Food & Atmosphere - Edit
Vegan section on the menu, we had the noodles...they were good but nothing special. There was no vegan dessert, even though it’s on the menu. Cool restaurant and waiting staff, friendly but not particularly knowledgeable about the menu.

Variety of vegan options, but beware - Edit
Simones is reminiscent of a trendy restaurant which has a dedicated following. There are several vegan options clearly marked on the menu which is a delight to see in Downtown Brasov. But buyer beware, trying to modify vegetarian options comes at the risk of the waiter’s knowledge; my first visit i was told that the Vegetarian Korma could be made vegan yet on a second visit I was told the Korma is made with yogurt and cannot be made vegan. I was also told that tofu wasn’t vegan... clearly there is some menu confusion. Overall the food is decent, 3/5 stars; fairly pricey based on serving size (noodles with tofu came with three cubs of tofu); and long wait times when non-busy (third table seated). The cappuccino is one of the best in town and the dessert was surprisingly large. Overall, a place to visit again when you have no plans for the evening. TIP: has English menu.

So happy to have found Simones! - Edit
We were so happy to find Simones!
Read moreThere are lots of vegan options and they are all so delicious. We especially liked the chickpea dish.
Service was good, they had toys for the kids and they serve good beer as well.
It's a nice restaurant and conveniently located. We would definitely eat there again.
I would give it a five stars!

Good vegan food! - Edit
Very good vegan food! An entire section on the menu is vegan and vegan dishes are clearly marked. From vegan burger to vegan noodles you have many options to satisfy your cravings. Hummus was delicious, served with warm pita, artichokes, dry tomatoes and olives. Vegan noodles had many fresh veggies and the taste was delicate. Maybe they should put more flavor but it was more than ok. Good vibes and great location. Recommended

Happy to find them - Edit
Happy to find them! Just a little tip to everyone who consider eating honey as non-vegan, please take into consideration that in Romania, this is overlooked when considering a dish/desert vegan. Great place, environment and service. The food is great! Will return here.

good food, lousy service - Edit
We were a party of 5. They brought our courses one by one, 10 minutes in between. The child was next last, had at least 40 min to wait. When we made inquiries, we were told they also had home deliveries to attend to and were asked if we wanted to "quarrel". The food was tasty, but rather oily.

Unique vegan options - Edit
Very nice restaurant with good atmosphere. It has an interesting vegan menu, with courses I haven't seen anywhere else, like vegetarian korma. Also, one of few restaurants that offers vegan desert: an awesome carrot cake.Keep up the good work!

would give it 5* if I could - Edit
I loved the vegan burger!!! even my fussy 4 year old son enjoyed it, which says a lot. the daily menu is a bargain! plenty of fresh juices and smoothies to choose from. for 100 RON I had so much to eat (soup, stuffed peppers, burger, juice and dessert, shared with 2 kids) and I truly enjoyed it. will go again soon

Good food, service so so - Edit
When we came there wasn't so much people but the restaurant started to fill. It took a long time to get our meals and when I got my chickpea-tomato-whatever, it didnt have the artichokes that were in the description. Luckily the cook added those when I mentioned about it. Restaurant got busier and busier but we decided to order coffees too. After waiting for half an hour we asked how it takes so long and the waiter had completely forgotten the coffees. We got them pretty fast after that and got some compensation for our "sufferings". All in all, really cozy place, food was delicious but don't go if you see its gonna be busy.

Cozy hipster place. - Edit
Very cozy interior. No AC, so be prepared.
Read moreNice little menu + everyday a different business lunch option for 20 RON. Vegetarian, vegan and non-veg options.
The food is good, but not perfect. I am a frequent customer since there are almost no other options in Brasov, if you wsh to have anything but chicken breast and potato. Here you'll find bulgur, lentils, arthichoke and other stuff.
At times the service might take a while, but it has improved recently.
Pros: interesting dishes, delisios coffee and lemonade, really cozy interior with magazines, in the centre
Cons: no AC, sometimes long waiting times, small menu
