Delicious, inexpensive vegan tacos! - Edit
The tacos here were amazing - and they had tons of styles to choose from. I had the bistec, chorizo and vegetable - they also had a ‘salsa’ bar so you could add some additional sauces (I did both the roja/red and verde/green salsa, plus cilantro and green onion). I believe they were only $2-3 each CAD, which is crazy cheap. I also had to try the chocolate cake, which did not disappoint. I was lucky enough to also meet the owner of the restaurant and she was super lovely to speak to - kudos to her on her awesome place.

Service was very quick and I liked the salsa station. The tacos were tasty, but nothing fancy, which was still great for the price of 20 pesos per taco!

I always try to support local vegan businesses, glad to have found Mango Blues in La Paz. Good people making good food. Home made ingredients, tacos, quesadillas. Torras, salsas, smoothies, and deserts. What more can you ask for, when in La Paz it’s a must!!!

We ordered variety of tacos, a quesadilla, smoothies and tapioca. Everything was tasty but the tapioca and bistec tacos were standout. Please note that when we visited, they did not accept card, only cash.

You can't go wrong with an all vegan taco place! We had some Quesadillas and some tacos. It was all made fresh and you could tell in the great flavor. Tasted amazing. Dirt cheap, too! The girl working was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!

My first time trying a potato cheese like the one I had in my quesadilla, it was very good and melty and made for a great snack. The tacos were great - there is a little station with salsas, onion and cilantro to add. Both salsas were good and the red one was spicy. Agua Fresca was so refreshing and comes with 1 refill. Loved the decor and seemed to be ran by one woman who was so nice! #Veganuary

The food is good, not fantastic, but not that many vegan options around. But the service was not the best, at 20;29 they told us they just do take aways (from 20;30) and he suggested we look for something to take away by ourselves if we wanted something to eat. We went two times to see if maybe it was just a bad day, but both days wasn't great.

Just wow. Vegan tacos for less than $1 each (18pesos). Im shocked ! I've been here about 5 times now since I'm in the area and it's been amazing every time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Read moreTheir chorizo tacos are my favorite for sure (and my husbands too). Just the right amount of heat and perfect texture. I need to learn how to make it myself because I'm going to sure miss it when I leave Mexico at the end of the month.
They use corn tortillas for their tacos, which I'm usually not crazy about but loved them at Mango Blue.
I've also tried the mushroom, carnitas, and bistec tacos. All so good, although the carnitas was a little dry for my liking. Still delicious nonetheless.
They have a condiment bar that has the best hot sauce.... I cannot live without it and it’s the perfect accompaniment to the tacos !
I haven't tried the torta or smoothie yet but it's next on my list before leaving. I will seriously miss this place !

Can’t believe I’m leaving a bad review of a vegan place because I want to support any places that are 100% vegan but I was really disappointed with the tacos here. Have been eating vegan tacos in Mexico for the past 2 months and these we’re definitely the worst. Lack of interesting ingredients and flavour. But they were super cheap, so you get what you pay for.

I icome here every time am in La Paz. Not to be missed! A small vegan restaurant that is open to the street with a nice and airy feel, wooden tables and some good vegan sayings on one wall. Easy to feel at home here. Amazing good Mexican-food-tasting vegan food. Super inexpensive. Also free wifi. Fun vibe. The tacos are all tasty by themselves; and the condiment shelf (see my pic) allows you to add to taste any of cilantro, onion, an avocado sauce, a hot sauce, and lime. The vegan quesadilla made from cheese from potatoes is a great compliment to the tacos.

They’re a tiny hole in the wall only offering TVP in various sauces on either tacos, tlacoyos, or quesadillas. They have a few desserts. Every sauce for the TVP “meat” is yummy except the birria. I couldn’t even finish that one!
