Delicious - Edit
Really delicious vegan food. Said Indian or Indian-inspired but did not taste that way, at least the dishes we got. But it didn't matter, it was still nutritious, hearty, filling, and delicious and the service was extremely nice.

Delicious and friendly - Edit
I walked in and asked in French if they speak English because my French is not very good (typical American). They said yes and told me to scan a QR code for an English menu. I was seated at a table right away. They brought a carafe of water and I ordered quickly. I got the Mango tartare, the famous Tourte, and a glass of Mango Lassi. For dessert I ordered the chai cheesecake and a cup of Punjab Chai. Everything was full of flavor and large. I stuffed myself and felt so full.

Bland and overpriced - Edit
Maybe we went there on a bad day, but the blanquette we ordered had no flavour, and for €13 that’s just a bit poop. The famous tourte was ok - but again, €14 for a slice and a bit of salad. Not sure why the high ratings, maybe the coffee and cakes are good? But we were so disappointed we didn’t want to risk it!

Delicious! - Edit
This small restaurant/teahouse offers top-quality Indian-inspired cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes very well seasoned. I tried the spinach and sun-dried tomato puff pastry, which was excellent, and the curry with vegetable dumpling, which was very pleasant even if rather expensive (€18 for a not highly original but satisfying dish). The desserts are equally tempting, especially the pistachio cheesecake! This place deserves to be experienced.

Feel good food 🥰 - Edit
This small, snugly venue made me feel like eating at home or at a friend's house, due to the warmth and love I felt in their ambiance and tasted in their food. We were well pleased by their savoury tourte and creamy, yet light seasonal gratin, both with their delectable fresh salads. I was also very happy to find a lassi on their menu, as I haven’t come across a plant-based version before. On Sundays they are currently offering a set brunch menu. Everything is also ready for direct takeaway.

Excellent Vegan indian restaurant - Edit
After several months of renovation, Maison Sukoon has been given a new lease of life, and is now a coffee shop with a mouth-watering brunch.
Read moreJust a stone's throw from the Montparnasse train station and Denfert Rochereau, Maison Sukoon is a vegan restaurant, tea room and caterer in a neighborhood where vegan offerings are virtually non-existent (especially since the departure of Sweet Rawmance in Montmartre).
Seating around 25, the place is very convivial, with refined and hearty Indian dishes.
The staff are attentive to customer needs, and I was able to enjoy a light, flavorful brunch.
- An appetizer with a small bowl of granola and fruit
- A savory plate, with a muffin, tofu steak and vegan cheese accompanied by kale salad
- A dessert mignardise, with lemon and macha entremets and chocolate cake
- And hot and cold drinks.
In short, a welcoming café-restaurant with a wide choice of Indian dishes in a friendly setting.

Maison Sukoon was right next to my hotel and provided an easy option for hard to find vegan food in Paris. The owner? Is incredibly friendly. The store does look very average but I can tell you, the food is exceptional, so good that I went back multiple times in my 2 day visit to Paris.

Cons: Aucun !

Found this place when the one we were aiming for was closed. Went on 21st August and most food was still vegan. The chef's special 'torte' and the curries were all fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced. Lemon/mint water provided for the table.
