Excellent vegan buffet - Edit
We were lucky enough to visit for the buffet -- it's only available on certain dates. Affordably priced and a good variety of tasty dishes.

Très bon et lieux agréable - Edit
Il y a une grande carte végétalienne, avec beaucoup de choix. Nous avons été bien reçus, servis rapidement. Les plats étaient bons mais ils manquaient un peu de « pep’s »

Vegan buffet!!! - Edit
We have visited here twice, once for the buffet and once for a sit down meal.
Read moreThe buffet was INSANE! It was packed and there was so much delicious food. Nothing was labelled but the staff were really helpful and I saw them guiding people around who had allergies and were avoiding soy etc. Highlights included the seitan, the garlic(?) bread, and the scrambled tofu.
The sit down meal was great too, I had the kung pao chicken and my husband had the banh mi. We both gave it 10/10, although the seitan in the bahn mi was chewier than the day before, but still delicious!

One of the best places I’ve been to so far - Edit
I visited the restaurant 2 months ago whilst on my trip to Iceland and the experience was genuinely incredible i still think about it 😂, the staff was very welcoming and environment was really relaxing.
Read moreI had the grilled vegan chicken and it was so good i had to try another dish (the “com nieu”). I was so full after I finished but totally worth it and we can’t wait to go back just for it.

Excellent Choice and Very Tasty - Edit
We found this gem on the last night of our trip to Reykjavik and wished we had found it sooner. We tried the Chow Mein, the Korean Noodles and the Kung Pao Chicken and all of the food was delicious and served quickly with a smile. The restaurant itself is spacious and calming with lovely decor. It was great to find a restaurant in Reykjavik where we could eat everything on the menu!

It's ok - Edit
Our least favourite meal in Reykjavik, was not bad, but meh.
Read moreRestaurant is nice and good located, the staff is ok. The lady wore two airpods while we ordered. Food came really quick, but we ordered starter and main, both came at the same time.
Food was not bad, got the Tofu&onion rings and as a main pad thai and something with glasnoodles. Pad thai was good and well seasoned, glasnoodles were a little sticky.

Average food - Edit
Loving hut always has very average fried food. It’s fine when you’re hungry and desperate. It’s also pretty cheap.
Read morePros: Edible food - fully vegan, Lots of seating, Cheap for Iceland
Cons: Food needs improvement, Canteen style - not restaurant, Cult like tv feed on the walls 🤣

Wonderful! - Edit
We just arrived in Rejkyavik and couldn't wait to try this place! We were not disappointed!! Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly spiced and left us wanting for more. It was so nice to be able to order anything off the menu and not have to worry about it being vegan. The staff was very friendly and it didn't take very long for the food to be served. We are already making plans to come back again before leaving Rejkyavik.

Best vegan restaurant in town - Edit
Only reason NOT to eat here is that you might not like Asian food. Fantastic variety and well-designed meals. Easily best place in town.

Loved, loved, loved - Edit
For starters it's entirely vegan, portions are really good the starters are a meal in themselves. They are delicious really well presented and the restaurant it's self is beautiful and quite central. Reykjavik is the most expensive place I have visited however when it comes to what you get for your money in Iceland this place beats the other places hands down.

Perfect! - Edit
The restaurant is large, lots of tables to choose from on a chilly evening, with large windows overlooking the streets. It’s centrally located but we walked from the residential ‘old west side’ to get there and seemed much more peaceful than coming from the rainbow street area.
Read moreFood came out quickly and was delicious, while other restaurants can go heavy on the oil and salt, this wasn’t the case here. And as a bonus, they currently offer 15% off on Thursdays, which made the meal pretty affordable.

Amazing food - Edit
My wife and I are vegans visiting here from the US. We were excited to see a fully vegan restaurant with Asian food. I have to say that the Pad Thai and the wonton soup were BY FAR the best we’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise. And we eat a lot of Asian food.

Excellent pan-Asian restaurant - Edit
I've probably been to ten different Loving Hut-related restaurants, and this one may be the best. We visited it three times during a two-week period in Reykjavik, and each meal was delicious. We tried a broad range of options from the menu, and there weren't any "misses". The interior is nice enough and the large windows offer a great view of the city center.
