Ideal for holidays

I just spent some days at Loving Hut Klopeinersee. The rooms are a bit oldfashioned, but very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and always helpful.
The private beach is one of the best at the lake - very quiet, enough trees for shade.
It is great to have the restaurant nearby when you get hungry at the beach. The food is okay, but nothing special.
The breakfast could be better - sure, you have all you need, but it seems a bit loveless.

Pros: friendly staff, great beach, vegan food always available

Cons: mediocre food

Best vegan cakes ever!

I knew that the food will be delicious, but in reality - it was soooo much more than I expected. This was the best vegan meal I have ever tried. I am crazy about wraps and this one, i got at Loving Hut - Lake Klopein, was soooo tasty, fresh and amazing that I can't wait to repeat my visit in Austria. But it wasn't just the wrap. I have never thought that vegan cake can be better than cakes I ate before my vegan path (because I have tried some homemade and weren't the best). These two (we tried chocolate and strawberry) were breath taking. I am thinking about to go at Lake Klopein just for the dessert (and I will oreder min. 3 pieces at once :P ) I really recommend this restaurant!!!

Great variety of delicious vegan food

The restaurant offers lots of Asian dishes, but also some fast food, e.g. Wiener Schnitzel or burger. We stayed at the next door Loving Hut hotel for 10 days and ate at the restaurant for dinner and sometimes also for lunch, but we never had to eat the same dish twice. Everything we had was very delicious. Especially the summer rolls with peanut sauce.

The staff was always very friendly, attentive and happy to help.

Pros: food variety, friendly staff, conpletely vegan

fantastic atmosphere, food, service, prices, etc

Stayed at the Fewo Scheiber 5-10 minutes away (really hope to stay at the Loving Hut Pension next time!) and ate here several times. Great prices, service, and food. I would say that this is more for non-vegans and vegans who like junk food than the health conscious among us, but I didn't mind since it was only a few meals. I love the atmosphere and decor - I got a Go Vegan Make Peace bracelet! Highly recommended

Pros: Good prices, Yummy food, Accommodating staff

Cons: "Junk food" vegan, Busy

Beautiful vegan hotel and restaurant

We stayed at the hotel for four nights in August, 2014. My partner and I are both vegan and we chose Austria as a holiday destination because we wanted the chance to stay at the hotel (we adore the Loving Hut chain of restaurants!). We then planned to fly to Berlin which is also great for veggies. Our stay at the Loving Hut hotel did not disappoint and we were both very happy with our time there.

The hotel has a lovely peaceful atmosphere to it and the surrounding scenery and lake is beautiful too. You can take walks all around the lake or just go for a swim. Staff members were kind and courteous throughout the time that we were there. The other guests were also pleasant and smiles were always exchanged at breakfast or dinner. The room we stayed in was big and clean. It was complete with a great shower, wardrobe, TV, balcony area and wi-fi access. Private access to the lake and breakfast buffet was also included in the price.

We ate at the restaurant many times during our stay and the food was always freshly prepared and very tasty. There is a good mix of American, Chinese and Italian style dishes and the prices are very reasonable (for example, the King Burger with fries was very filling at 6.50 Euros). There is a nice selection of drinks and desserts too which include banana split, cheesecake, ice-cream and raw cake. My favourite dish was the taglietelle with creamy cheese sauce, vegan ham and cashews. Many people ate at the restaurant during our stay and that included people not actually staying at the hotel, which is a credit to the great-tasting food. Seating is indoor or outdoor on the patio which is ideal on a warm sunny day.

The hotel is child and animal friendly as some guests had both children and dogs. We made friends with a lovely lady from Switzerland who was staying with her daughter and dog, Benny. However, most guests seemed to be couples. Upon entering the hotel you are met with a garden full of animal figurines and there is even a sandpit and wooden climbing frame. A really nice touch is that water bowls are left out for dogs and the table in the lobby is always topped up with juice and snacks for the guests.

I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel (and restaurant) to anyone - veggie or non-veggie. A peaceful get away from city life, we are looking forward to returning.

Pros: Staff are very warm, restaurant food is amazing, very relaxing surroundings

Cons: None - amazing choice of food!

Tolle vegane internationale Küche

Short summary in english:
Great international cuisine in a beautiful surrounding at lake klopein. Its a well know tourist area so expect some people in high season.

************************************************************

The best choice for nice holiday...

Four days... that was too short, but we enjoy this place. With our 2 small dogs, we were in a nice hotel, with friendly staff, they want always to make more for us.
The vegan food was perfect, every day from breakfast to dinner, a big choice from different meals and for everybody a very nice moment : make peace with food... GREAT !!!
We want to go again in a few months, but for 8 days, or more, that was not enough...
We recommended !

Pros: Vegan friends, Excellent vegan food, very quiet place

An excellent holiday.

We stayed here for a week. It was such a treat to stay in a hotel, come down to breakfast and eat everything from the cereal to the cold 'meats', and then to have an extenisve menu to choose from for lunch and dinner.

The food was all good, I especially enjoyed the wraps, and the staff went out of their way to accomodate my coeliac partner.

The location is lovely, and the hotel has access to the lake as well. It made a really nice change to go somewhere where food was simply not an issue.

The weather was very warm in June and we ate in the garden for every meal. The lake is one of the warmest in Europe, and we swam several times most days.

Pros: Extensive menu., Excellent location., Friendly helpful staff.
