Great food

All the Loving Huts are different. This restaurant is very plain but the food was ever so good. The food is behind glass and not labelled and you point to what you want. The portions are very generous and very filling. The only thing we ordered off the menu was fresh orange juice.

Pros: Such good food, Friendly but no English spoken , Inexpensive

Cons: Atmosphere is a bit loud

Best tofu I ever had

A very tasty buffet, and according to the lady at the till ALL VEGAN. All of the buffet options were 1$ or less, and they had great vegan Tiramisu for 2,5$.
But dont expect a lot of atmosphere here, seems more like a canteen.

Pros: cheap, all vegan

Cons: no atmosphere

Tasty food for great prices

I ate from their buffet twice. Their English is limited, but you can point to what food you'd like to have on your plate. All of the food is very well seasoned.

Pros: All vegan, and great prices

Cons: None

cheap eats, good taste

Dollar for dollar the best value food we’ve eaten, extremely inexpensive & a ton of food. I don’t really like mushrooms, but it was actually my favourite meal here. We ate here regularly & they would change items from time to time. It’s vegan Chinese food buffet style. Not like our favourite food, but I give a good review because of the value

Personally didn’t like the juice options here, tasted too fake for my liking

Cheap but overcooked

Had a huge plate of nice tasting food here in the vegan food desert that is Panama. Very cheap, but as I arrived late in the afternoon the food was cold and most veggies were flacid and overcoocked.
If they kept their eye on the ball here with regards to keeping their buffet fresh and up tempature (and did something about the horrible hospital style decor) it could be a wonderfull place to eat.

Pros: Cheap, Big portions, Tasty

Cons: Food was not warm, Overcooked

delicious vegan cheeseburger

We ordered off the menu as the buffet choices did not seem too appetizing around 4:30 pm when we got there. Cheeseburger was very tasty and the take away portions were huge. Ambience is non existing. Service was ok, no napkins served with meal and staff was sweeping and changing chairs around us as we ate. Otherwise a good choice for budget quick eats.

Pros: price, tasty , generous portions

Cons: lack of a ambiance

Delicious vegan asian food

I ordered only from the buffet (noodles, seitan, vegan chicken, and brocolli) and haven't tried the menu, but it was sooo good.
Also, the tiramisu as a dessert was delicious.
If you want to eat asian food in panama, loving hut is the place to go.
The server was really sweet and could speak english. And it's also quite cheap! The buffet plate + tiramisu came out only 7 dollars.

Pros: Cheap, The server speaks english

Cons: The interior can be a bit more fancier

So much variety!

This place is a gem! There are so many dishes to chose from - stir fries, steamed veggies/greens, stews, baked dishes, deep fried, every portion cost $1.5. My boyfriend loves mock meat and he wasn't disappointed - caramel 'pork' and sweet and sour 'chicken' were 5/5!

Pros: Amazing variety of dishes, Some classic Chinese dish available , Cheap

Low Budget Vegan Food

This a great place to stop by if you are looking for some low cost vegan food.

It's cafeteria style serving allows you to see everything they have available when you walk up to order. You can mix and match your plate however you like.

Apart from that, you can order from a menu although I've never ordered from it.

Pros: Everything is vegan, About $1.25 a serving (if i remember correctly)

Cons: Sometimes food from the buffet is a bit cold , Not enough parking spots

Good Location Close to Downtown

I was there for one hour and I was the only one there besides the owner and the help. It seems that there is little business, I wouldn't be surprised if they close eventually. I had to ask about several juices and dishes before the had the ingredients to actually make what was on the menu. Eventually I ordered a juice and the fake fish sandwich with the fried plantain option instead of French fries. The dish eventually (slow) came out with fries not patacones and the sandwich was nothing like fish. If I were to guess I'd say they just cooked eggplant and called it fish. I love Loving Hut and I want he ooooh support their chain but this one sucked big time. Also, there was something with honey on the menu. It wasn't clear if it's fake honey or if they just own a vegan restaurant but don't know what vegan means. Weird place.

Pros: Big menu but can't make most of it

First Vegan Meal in Panama

The restaurant was almost empty. The food was cold. One woman spoke some English as we don't speak Spanish. Price was reasonable, $1.50 per item.

Cons: Food was cold.

Delicious and best vegan Panamanian food

Here you can get asian food, fast food (burguers, tacos etc) and panamanian vegan food. To eat panamanian food this is the right place. The taste is delicious, I really like the sancocho, the shrimp dish and the sweet and sour meat. There are good desserts also like the chocolate cake and tiramizu. You can choose food from the buffet or you can order something from the menu and they cook it right away. The serving size is really big and it is cheap for the amount you're getting. About $6 it's more than enough, sometimes $4.50 will do well also.

Pros: Great food, Good to try panamanian dishes, Good location

Cons: Closed on sundays

Quick and Filling

Friendly service and filling vegan food for a cheap price. My partner and I paid $12.50 total and each got three buffet selections and fresh juice. Many of the options were vegan versions of Chinese food, but I also had a delicious basil salad that was very fresh. Overall we were really happy. No, it's not a fancy place, but the price-value differential is high. Would definitely go again.

Tasty-ish and good-ish

I liked it. But i never figured out why it costs here $1.50 per scoop, when around the corner in El Jardin Vegetariana it costs $0.70. To me it seems that they were serving a bit better food but not twice better.

The place is nevertheless better, much more calmer and spacious. So perhaps the extra $0.80 per scoop are reasonable. But im not completely convinced.

However, i would eat there again.

Pros: quality is good enough

Good and tasty

Loving Hut is a well known vegan chain. I tried it in different countries, and Loving Hut Panana is one of the best I went to. Food is good and tasty, nothing to complain about it. Of course, there's a lot of mock meat and fish, which is not the healthiest option in the world, but you have a large choice of 100% vegan food in a country which is not vegan-friendly. The vegan burger was excellent, recommended. The place could be nicer and service is very poor.

Pros: good and tasty food, large choice

Cons: poor service

Good basic food

As of June 2015, each item you choose costs $1.25, so it's a good deal. You can buy juice or another type of drink, or water and tea are free at the little table. It's nice to be able to see what you are ordering from the steam table. Not haute cuisine, but it's ok. Even though it's a vegetarian restaurant, there were almost no vegetables of color (no carrots, broccoli, etc.). Everything looked bland except for the green salad.

Pros: Location, Price

Cons: Lack of color; everything bland looking
