Quick and Delicious Food That Doesn’t Skimp on Flavor

I’ve tried their golden wantons, sesame soy, and joy chow fun—all were delicious! The portions are sizable and the price was really worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for the joy chow fun.

Pros: Everything is Vegan!, Delicious food, Quick service

Eggplant!

I love eggplant and they have a lot of choices. I ordered the basil eggplant which was full of fresh basil and had a nice spice from the jalapeños, but it was a tad sweet for me and I forgot to add rice which would have cut the sweetness. The serving was HUGE.

Pros: Lots for eggplant lovers

Sets New Standard For Loving Huts

This is the first Loving Hut I have ever been to that has sit down service. This is one of the nicest ambiances I have experienced at a vegan restaurant. The food was wonderful Loving Hut quality! So many good choices. Highly recommend! Will be going back ASAP!

Smart choice

We’ve eaten here many times. Most of the dishes are very good. Only issue we have encounered a few times is that they frequently run out of popular desserts like carrot cake!

Pros: Pretty good., For a Vegan, ordering is easy because it’s all ve

It is good but....

I have been to a few different loving hut branches. This location probably has one of the lowest prices, however the food was pretty bland. The cha cha was a small plate in comparison to the ones I have had, it just came with a small salad usually it has rice as well. The salt and pepper tofu, I couldn't taste the pepper at all.
Service was lacking the girls appeared to be busy they not once came to ask for anything just dropped off the food, we had to go look for them for some hot sauce. Although I will say we were serviced soon after putting in the order.

My experience as well. Food extremely bland and service was non existent after food was dropped off. They never came back to deliver the hot tea we ordered, so we had to flag someone else down.

I’ve been here twice so far and...yum!

Both times have been a tasty adventure. I tried the Mongolian Wonder and Golden Drumsticks and both were delicious! The second time I came, I tried the Carmelized Bliss and the Thai Fried Rice. The fried rice wasn’t my favorite as it was just a touch on the salty side. But when I put the rice and the bliss together...magic happened! It was so good! I am a fan of their mock meat for sure. Other mock meats aren’t really very good or the texture is strange. Keep making magic loving hut!

Pros: So many options , Great hours, Super fast and delish

Cons: It’s freezing inside...like wear a jacket cold.

I absolutely love this Loving Hut - it's definitely my favorite. All the food I've ordered has been spot on. You get great portion sizes and just love how everything is vegan. They also indicate on the menu the GF items.

Best Vegan Asian Food in the Area

I love Loving Hut. Their food is outstanding with an incredible variety of choices. Best things on the menu, are the sample platter, spicy cha cha, chow mein, fried rice, and eggplant with tofu. Only con is I wish they were closer to where we live. We are 45 minutes away and drive here every week. That's how amazing they are!!

Pros: Spicy Cha Cha, Appetizers , Spicy Eggplant with Tofu

Cons: None

Worth the Drive!

My partner wanted to try out the new vegan "Loving Hut" in Elk Grove for months. Today was the day. Having our Toyota pickup serviced at the Elk Grove Auto Mall, we walked the two or so blocks to the restaurant. What a delight; the menu and food were great, and the atmosphere and music was peaceful and relaxing. Plus, the extensive lunch's special and evening menus were "very competitive". The items we ordered had a wide variety of delightful Oriental herbs and spices and great sauces. Everything tasted like it was fresh and right off the vine. My partner noted that he couldn't wait to get back to start working his way through the whole menus, especially the sweet items. It will be worth the drive from Sacramento for me as there were many "marked" gluten free items.

Pros: Fantastic fresh food., Relaxing space., Great prices.

Cons: There not more of them!

Loving Hut/Elk Grove - This is a great restaurant!

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever, anywhere and at any price. The whole menu is vegan, there are tons of great, reasonably priced items. The non-romantic, sterile decor reminds you of Brave New World and 1984 with the TVs and signs blaring pro-vegan messages, but the awesome food and pleasant staff make it well worth going.

This restaurant has low prices, very good service and is clean and spacious.
I ordered the Loving Hut Fried Rice(with brown rice) and the Heavenly Salad. Both were delicious. So was the orange juice, which was freshly made on their juicer.
I also ordered to go The Loving Hut Burger, which is one of the non-Asian items on the menu, and is a cant-miss delight, very delicious(comes with fries). The Lucky Chow Mein is also great and they give you a large portion.
Loving Hut is located in a small, quiet shopping center just beyond the hustle and bustle of Elk Grove, which is another advantage. And it is very easy to find.
The restaurant never seems crowded as it looks like the overwhelming majority mof their business is take-out.
There are 3 cons in my opinion. (1) the restaurant is built out of mostly synthetic materials (i.e. formica), so it is not natural and there is probably some outgassing. (2) There are no condiments on the table, such as soy sauce.
(3) The wall of photos of famous vegetarians/vegans as you enter is missing one of the most vegans in America. Dennis Kucinich is an eight-term Congressman and two-time Presidential candidate.
If you are so inclined, please ask management in writing to include his photo.
Overall, I like it a lot and will be going back soon.
