Wow! What a treat. The food was amazing. There is a lot of variety to choose from. Good portions. Lots of desert to choose from, too. We ordered the brownie, rolled cake, and tres leches cake for pre food desert. Tres leches was my favorite. My favorite meal was the pho soup and the sandwich de soyo frito, amazing! Mom got Tico tacos and a chocolate milkshake, big portion, so yummy. Sister got the loving wrap. She loved it. Saved half for tomorrow. Comes with yummy sauces on the side. I got the pho soup, yum!! Split the sandwich with hubs. We both loved it so much. Our favorite for sure! The people were very nice and there was street parking in front. Highly recommend this restaurant 😃

This is a small place, with a small menu. It’s not a typical Loving Hut menu. There are burgers and fries, along with some Asian dishes, such as ramen and pho, but much of the menu was Mexican (tacos and burritos) and Costa Rican. This was a-ok by me, as I would prefer to eat local dishes when traveling.
Read moreI did feel like starting with a soup, so I did get pho. The pho was pho-like, but still good. I got the Casada de la Casa, which was seitan with sautéed onions, beans, rice, plantains, and salad. It was good. I finished with a small slice of blueberry cake and a slice of berry pie. Both were good.

I was pleasantly surprised when we stopped here. My 10 year old loved his meal as well. The staff was very accommodating and answered our questions. Loved this 100% vegan treasure!

This is for sure one of the best Vegan restaurants in Costa Rica. Located in Heredia (small city between San Jose and the airport) it has a wide variety of main dishes and desserts.

I ate their chocolate cake (2500 colones $4.30) and fruit pie (2000 colones 3.40). They were pretty good and came in big portions. The other items on the menu range from 3000 to 3800 colones ($5.15 to 6.50). I don’t know about the portion sizes.

Had a few dishes, even to go. I left a big load of money in that restaurant. But I was so happy to see that there was a Loving Hut in the area I stayed. Try the fruit cake, absolutely spectactular! Talked to the owners, as it's a family-run business. Nice people. Despite the prices, highly recommendable!
