Great coffee - Edit
It's always super full because it's right next to university. If you manage to find a spot and enjoy your coffee and pastry in the cafe it's a nice atmosphere (sometimes a bit loud though).
Read moreThey had the recup cups for take away for quite a while but I haven't seen them the last times I was there... I liked the concept of borrowing a cup (you pay for it) and then bringing it back to this cafe or any other one participating in the recup concept.
They had the best food for a while - I went there with a friend every week for the carrot cake and sandwich - but sadly they've changed the caterer. I hope they find back into their old groove cause the last time I went there the selection was sparse and what I chose was a bit bland.
Pros: Many options (depends on the caterer though) , Great coffee , Location is very convenient (U-Bahn and Uni)
Cons: Some items are a bit pricey , Service a bit slow (self service at the counter!), Usually hard or find a place to sit

Lost weekend is kind of a students café, when we arrived on sunday afternoon the whole place was crowded by people working with their laptops.
Read moreUnfortunately most of the yummy sweets they usually seem to offer where already sold out.
I was really graving that vegan chocolate croissant, I’ve seen on the pictures!
Nevertheless I had a good piece of chocolate vanilla cake and an iced coconut-rice latte with it.
They offer four different kinds of vegan milk options.
You order at the bar and wait for it to take it with you.
One of the employees (two girls) was very friendly, the other not so much.
All in all a nice experience and I definitely would be here on a regular when living in munich!
Pros: nice atmosphere, solid vegan options , affordable
Cons: can be very crowded , Most food sold out at noon already

Yuppie Cafe - Edit
I went there with a friend and we both were a little bit disappointed, it was crowded with students using laptops, the seats were uncomfortable and the variety was very little. We ordered 2 big cappuccinos Wich weren't big. The 3 stars for the staff.

Good vibes and delicious treats - Edit
I love Lost Weekend!! They have really delicious vegan sweets. The only thing is that the vibe isn't so cozy if that's what you're looking for. During the week if you don't have your laptop and study material with you it sometimes feels like you're super out of place haha. But other than that, I love it and really enjoy the events they throw like open mic nights and jazz nights.

Great breakfast options - Edit
This was our first stop on our Munich trip and it raised the bear pretty high.
Read moreBreakfast is fantastic and they have great sweet as well as savoury options.
Croissants, banana bread as well as the Philly cheese sandwich and special wrap were absolutely delicious.
Staff were very friendly albeit a bit slow, but we had a great time.
The place is stylish, with some strong hipster vibes and seems to attract a large laptop-crowd due to its proximity to the uni.

Just what I wanted! - Edit
Popular hangout for people working on laptops. Easy and quiet atmosphere. Coffee and hot chocolate were lovely. They had soy, soy vanilla, oat, almond, and rice-coconut milk available. Sandwiches, crossiants and fruit available to buy. Lots of books for sale.

Welcoming staff, loads of vegan food to have a meal, snack or just a coffee. I had two sandwiches and they were both amazing, I would’ve liked to have tried them all!

GET THE PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH - Edit
Great place to study, work, and stay a while. It’s definitely a spot for locals, especially university students. The tables fill up pretty fast and can be reserved but they have seats along all the windows. There’s outlets and power strips for charging! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the WiFi to work on my phones or laptop (otherwise would have been 5 stars).

Relaxed spot - Edit
I had a couple of coffees and a chocolate croissant here. Coffees (with option of three or four plant milks) were made on the spot as they were ordered. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a lot of seating and power sockets for computers, as well as the bookshop. At the counter there were a few lunchy options (which I didn’t get to try) such as filled baguettes and bagels and pasta meals, as well as sweet baked goods.

The best tofu I ever had - Edit
I stepped into a presentation for students late in the evening, so the cafe was very full, but there was still enough space to enjoy a delicious meal. I got a sandwich with tofu and red cabbage, which was stunning. The marinade of the tofu made it the best tofu I ever had (korean style with garlic, chili and soy sauce).

Great place + delicious vegan cake - Edit

Will become our goto place in 2018.. - Edit
One of the only place we found open on NewYears Day 2018 serving a vegan option. And what a find... great place with good music and the food and cakes are the best we have found, and not just in Munich. And as for the coffee not just a full choise of non dairy but great tasting too, they recomened the dirty chai latte and that did not disappoint.

Pros: full vegan selection and good location
Cons: did not see any so far...

Great breakfast place - Edit
We got a chocolate croissant and a marble cake with two coffees. All were amazing with so many options. There’s a really cool vibe about the place, with great music. We sat on the window sill and watched the students with their laptops. There’s also a really good selection of books. I’d recommend breakfast here anytime in Munich

Everything ja vegan, everything looks yummy and the chocolate croissant fulfils one's monthly chocolate need plenty. Like the busy shared space atmosphere and the bookstore next to the seating area.. 👌 though nothing for someone who seeks a cosy quiet place.

Great coffee - Edit
The place was very busy with lots of students, so seating inside is a bit hard to find, if you can find it at all. The place inside was just a tad bit too college-vibey, so we sat outside.
Read moreWe ordered sandwiches and two cakes. Both were good, but kind of average. However the cafe lattes (with soymilk) were really great! Definitely give those a try. They also have a ton of different plant milk options, so you can choose whichever you like best.

Cons: Disorganized seating, Meh interior and outside decor
