This is certainly not the place worth visiting. It is too expensive for a vegetarian dish and it is not a vegetarian restaurant.
Kovalam is not a place for vegetarians in Trivandrum. One has to go to proper Trivandrum and you can find many vegetarian only restaurants. A decent vegetarian meal (Tali) would cost just less than a quarter of the price quoted by this hotel ( Rs.50 to 100 means less than $2). One can try Aruna (near VJT hall, Palayam, MG Road), Anand Bhavan in front of the secretariat ( please dont go there between 10 AM to 1 PM because you may get hurt by hooligans coming there for strikes and throwing stones recklessly at everyone around and police using teargas cannons). After 1 PM the rowdies will go home for lunch and you may try this hotel. There is one Ashok Bhavan opposite to Ayurveda college on M.G. Road. There is another one (Arulakam) at overbridge. All these hotels serve only vegetarian dishes.
