Excellent service. The attendant was very friendly. I tried to communicate with my bad German, and I think it worked, except for the fact that a tray of bread arrived on the table, which I thought was a house gift. When it came time to pay the bill, I noticed that the bill was overpriced, and I realized that the bread that I didn't order at any point cost around 6 euros. If the bread arrives at the table, ask the waiter if it's free and if there's cheese! Stay tuned! I thought it was absurd, but under the circumstances I gave up complaining. The dishes were very good, but I thought they were quite expensive, well above the average for the region for the quantity on offer. The bathroom wasn't very hygienic and smelled unbearably of cigarettes.

Tentei me comunicar com meu alemão ruim, e acho que deu certo, exceto o fato de ter chegado uma bandeja de pães na mesa que achei que fosse brinde da casa. Na hora de pagar a conta, notei que a conta ficou salgada, e percebi que os pães que eu não pedi em nenhum momento custaram em torno de 6 euros. Se chegar na mesa os pães, pergunte ao atendente se é de graça e se tem queijo! Fiquem atentos! Achei um absurdo, mas pelas circunstâncias desisti de reclamar. Os pratos estavam muito bons, mas achei bem caros, muito acima da média da região pela quantidade que foi oferecida. O banheiro não era muito higiênico e tava com um cheiro insuportável de cigarro.

ich persönlich muss gestehen, dass dies nicht das beste restaurant ist, in dem ich je war. die karte ist eine mischung aus orientalischem und asiatischem essen, vieles vegan oder veganisierbar (aufpreis für letzteres 0,4€). einrichtung eher vintage, nicht rollstuhlgerecht (treppen).
Read morehab den falafelteller probiert, für 14,50€ nicht gerade günstig. es gab falafel, salat, couscous, hummus und verschiedene dips. dazu noch frisches knoblauchbrot. nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nicht umwerfend (das knoblauchbrot schon). da hat mich der preis schon ein bisschen geschmerzt.
probiere das nächste mal vielleicht ein tagesgericht.

Ich schätze an lolu besonders die Vielfalt der angebotenen Speisen. Von seitanwurst oder Burger mit pommes über reichhaltige wraps zum mitnehmen bis zu gemüsecurries. Die Küche hat sowohl mediterrane, levantinische als auch südasiatische Gerichte im Repertoire und bereitet alles frisch und mit liebevollen Details zu. Die Preise sind für das Angebot angemessen, aber nicht super günstig.

Apart from the Standard Menu, they also have a weekly changing Menu with atleast a few vegan options.
Read moreI really love the different salads and dips they serve, so if I dine in, I go for the vegan entrée platter most of the time with a Main Course of my liking.
For a quick takeaway, I really recommend the Falafel Wrap with Hummus. I don't know how they do it, but their falafels are honestly the best ones I have tasted so far, no matter where I go.

Peaceful place offering Arabian-Persian-Turkish inspired food. Garlic-free food can be prepared; most contains garlic, so ask. 'Normal' magazines to read, not overt animal rights stuff. Friendly staff. You can take grandma to the place. All freshly prepared. Around 5 mins walk from central train station; very close to city centre. Cake is vegan. No health or yuppie bullshit, just a plain neighborhood restaurant that is quite vegan. Lots of garlic and onions.
