Amazing, delicious and lots of options

Delicious food and drinks 😍 I had the mango juice, ice tea and hot chocolate. We chose a starter - the puffed spanakopita and lasagna. The salad that comes with the lasagna - incredible! (And I’m not even a salad person) 😅

We tried their key lime pie - a little too sour for us, however I recommend this place. I will be back if I ever come to MontrĂ©al again💚

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff ❀, Cozy

Cons: A little pricy

Oh la la! (Sorry I had to)

Everything tastes better on vacation but I've been here a few times and it's always wonderful. Once was after a flight and once was after a tattoo convention. On both occasions nothing but the biggest order of nachos you've ever seen will do. The server warned us of the serving size and we were like WE KNOW. I've only ever gotten the burrito and a generous amount of nachos. Looking forward to trying new dishes next time we visit.

Very good đŸ€©

Finally! A restaurant that serves food not full of fat or sugar!! The food is delicate and have real taste, it’s well prepared I loved it!
This comes with a price as it’s a bit more expensive than the usual full-of-fat restaurant.

Special mention: all the table has a drawer where people let cute notes đŸ„čđŸ„čđŸ„č

Pros: The food taste like food

Mexican delight

Ready for full mexican feast? I usually leave there with my pants button undone . Service is friendly, especially if you engage them in conversation. Probably because of the demographics of McGill university a 20% tip makes the amazing service even better. I've never felt this good to tip in my life.

Pros: Simple menu. Nothing to fuss about

Cons: A bit slow with the orders

Fantastic vegetarian and vegan food

Lola Rosa is a FANTASTIC place for cozy and satisfying plant-based meals in the McGill ghetto. It's a vegetarian restaurant but there are tons of (clearly-labelled) vegan options that I want to try. Their dishes are all colorful, vibrant, and simply but beautifully plated. The portions sizes are generous but not excessive. I also love the reasonable prices (expect to spend around 18$ including tax and tip). The interior is small but the decor is cute and homey. Honestly, this just may be my new favorite restaurant in Montreal!

I had the vegan burrito stuffed with sweet potato puree, black beans, corn, and red pepper, and topped with salsa and creamy avocado-lime sauce + rice & salad. Many people recommended the Lola Rosa burrito to me, and they weren't wrong! This is probably the best vegan burrito I've ever had.

Pros: Colorful and vibrant cuisine, Tons of clearly labelled vegan options, Everything is delicious

Must visit

In Montreal, we had a chance to visit some amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurants of which we liked the 'Lola Rosa Cafe' the most .

Sharing few of the pictures of the tasty/healthy food we had.

A Burrito, Nachos, Quesadilla epicee, Salade Rosa and a chocolate icecream dessert.

Busy place right in the middle of Montreal downtown. Great food and service.

Pros: Lots of vegan/vegetarian options, Good ambience, Good service

Cons: Busy/ loud place so not preferred for quiet ppl

Delicious

Had the quesadilla. While I felt like a four year old trying to figure out a sensible and elegant way to get it into my mouth without it flopping and emptying everywhere, it was a joyous mouth experience overall.

Visiting Montreal

Passing through Montreal we ate here and found the food to be fabulous! We tried the black bean burger and the burrito. Both were vegan and really delicious!! My husband and 4 kids enjoyed the burgers and burrito. I ordered the Lola Rosa salad and it was superb!!! Must try!!!!

Pros: Delicious, Fair prices, Accepted changes to salad

Cons: Not totally vegan joint

Nice place, also for vegans

Nice atmosphere, but a bit loud in the evening. Not so much spices in the main courses, but good fresh food.

Pros: Lot of vegan options, Nice staff, Reasonable prices

Cons: Loud, Inside only

Great place to bring your non vegan friends.

This cozy spot in the McGill ghetto has great dishes for vegans and vegetarians. Some items on the menu can be made vegan. All my non vegan friends have enjoyed eating here.

For the Nacho's lover

The food at Lola Rosa is absolutely amazing! Only thing, when I went there I had to basically argue with the waitress for the full side nacho. She said "oh, the half one will be plenty for you." Hmmm... I don't think so! Never underestimate a vegan 😈

Pros: Cozy, Great food

Amazing!

I really liked coming here. It is a relatively small, but beautifully decorated location. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. I only have one small thing to critizise: my little brother doesn't like spicy food and ordered something that was spicy...it would be good if you would note when a dish is spicy. I can only recommend coming here. The salad, burrito and desserts (all vegan) are amazing.

Pros: Friendly staff, Excellent food, Nice vibe

Fun place

Not all vegan, but a good amount of options. The place is really cute, although a bit loud, and the food was good. Vegan items are clearly marked. My husband and I shared the seitan burger and the burrito. The burger can be made vegan by getting it without the sauce. It was good but a but dry because there wasn't a vegan replacement sauce. Burger came with a salad and slaw, both of which were very tasty. The burrito was better, very flavorful. All in all it was good, but i wouldn't necessarily go back unless I was eating with non-vegan friends.

Cons: not all vegan, loud

J'adore Lola Rosa, cette adresse est plus calme que celui du parc. Les y a ici beaucoup plus de choix vegan. Je recommande fortement le lola : les plats sont bons et l'accueil impeccable

Pretty good

Lola Rosa has a ton of options, and most of the menu can be made vegan. Portions are huge and the food was pretty good, but honestly nothing absolutely mind blowing.

It's a small space and gets crowded easily

Not that great

I went to Lola Rosa with great expectations, considering the reviews left on HC and elsewhere. I was really disappointed:
- The place is small and packed;
- It is incredibly noisy, I couldn't even hear what the waitress was asking me, I had to have her repeat three times;
- I waited an insane amount of time just to get my one dish; maybe the waitress had forgotten about it? That happens, but it was quite annoying...
- The food itself (I had the spinach lasagna) was tasty but quite greasy. The Cesar salad was a bit too oily as well.
- Prices are OK but it's not cheap for what it is.

Cons: Noisy, Small

Decent food but small space and noisy

Just had lunch here. Seemed to be a popular spot in the hood but tiny. Tables were cramped together. Food was tasty, though, and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was casual and very lively (read noisy). It's a 3.5 rounded up to a 4 for me.

Pros: good food, good value

Cons: cramped space, very noisy

Matcha cake! Wow WOW WOOOOW!

If you are in Montreal, you definitively must visit this place! Even if it is full, wait your turn, it worths it! Everything that I tasted was excellent! And I fell in love with matcha cake with raspberry dressing and passion fruit foam. So hardly, that I visited it three days in a row!!!!!

Pros: matcha cake, burrito
