Very nice and very affordable! - Edit
Went here for my last dinner in Warsaw. The menu is great, not too many options but for everyone there is some thing nice to choose.
Read moreIt is mainly a selfservice restaurant/cafe where you need to make your order at the counter and leave your dirty dishes at a small corner so the staff can clean it.
Everything in the menu was vegan and it was hard to choose what to eat. We ended up having a classic lemonade (lemon flavoured), spaghetti Carbonara (amazing!), okinomiyaki, tartare and both a dessert (tiramisu cake, was Oke but wasn’t really like tiramisu) and Labneh (delicious).
Would definitely recommend going here, the staff is friendly too and if you need to go to the toilet, take your vegan sticker with you! It is completely covered in vegan (activism) stickers 😁
Pros: Carbonara was amazing , Very affordable , Great toilet 😆
Cons: Cake could have been sweeter

Delicious Polish food - Edit
Really tasty food that I’ve never tried before. Vegan tartare and cutlet were really good! Atmosphere was quiet for a Friday night but it is a nice, casual restaurant

Great vegan take on trad Polish food - Edit
Liked this place. Massive portions for mains and desserts. Had the kutlet with mash and sauerkraut- very filling. Followed by a massive slice of banoffee cake. All washed down with a winter tea which had a lot of things in it and served with a separate pot of raspberry syrup to add.

Good food, a bit hectic place - Edit
Good food and okish price, but the atmosphere was a bit hectic as the place was really full and although being a self-service, fastfood-like place, we had to wait for our food for almost an hour.
Read moreStaff was really nice though.
Polish traditional more or less vanished from the menu

Very nice food - Edit
The food was excellent - the service, however, could definitely be improved. The staff wasn’t all too welcoming or friendly. You order at the counter and pick up the food from there afterwards, so not much expected from the staff to begin with - but a smile would help.

Tasty Polish Vegan - Edit
Intimate cafe style, order at counter, and collect at counter, even though it was quiet and staff could have served to table. Food was tasty, but behind some developments in UK, such as textured meat alts etc. overall very good and recommended.

Yum! - Edit
Vegan versions of the classic polish food and some additional yummy fusion dishes. The staff wasn't that friendly to us, seemed pretty annoyed at us even, but I'm sure they just had a bad day.

Such a cute place and the food was amazing. The carbonara portion was huge and so filling. The schabowy satisfied a long time craving I’ve been having. The tteokbokki was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy.

Excellent choice for Vegans in central Warsaw - Edit
With all the great reviews I just had to visit Lokal while in Warsaw. It is in a lovely location, with in-and-outdoor seating areas set well back from the bustling street in the central city.
Read moreStaff were very helpful to this English-only visitor. It is self-serve establishment. You order inside and wait for your number to be called. You also bus your own table before leaving. All fine, but be aware this is a casual dining experience.
Food quality was very good. My companion had the Philly Cheese Steak (huge sandwich) and fries (yummy and hot). I had the BBQ ribs with mashed potatoes, steamed green beans and a small portion of corn-on-the-cob (terrific!). I took away a very tasty (and not too sweet) cheese cake, which had arrived fresh from the bakery. (It was delicious.)
My only less than positive comment is that the menu is very seitan-centric. No tofu or tempeh on offer that I saw on the menu.
Pros: 100% vegan, Excellent quality food, Great location
