Heartwarming - Edit
Had a "heartwarming" soup with noodles, dumplings, and more, that tasted great. This particular dish was not spicy. The meal felt more filling than anticipated.

The food is always great. Gets full on weekends, but it's usually just a short wait for a table.

Fusion done right! - Edit
Great flavours and friendly service. I had the herbal soup and vegan calamaris which were both excellent. It was my first time seeing a Chinese style, earthy and comforting herbal soup in the menu in Europe. The dish also came with vegan "fishcakes/balls" which had wonderful textures.

wow!!! - Edit
I don’t really write reviews but after eating here for 2 nights in row during my trip to Brussels I must say it is one of the best vegan restaurants I have ever been to! Every single item on the menu is 10/10 in terms of flavour and directed by someone with incredible taste buds, or at least taste buds that align perfectly with how I like to eat. The service is fast, the portions are big and everything is delicious down to the soft drinks. I can’t recommend Liu Lin enough and I will be coming back here each time I visit Brussels.

Good menu selection and food arrived a lot faster than expected. Pretty tasty but wasn't able to finish it all but taking the rest home wasn't a problem. Nice central location.

The dishes are exceptionally creative and delicious - we tried the calamari and a Chinese herbal soup, topped off with a cake and ice cream. The staff were very friendly too.

Loved my dinner there. Chose one of the bowl options, kambucha and a snickers dessert. The dish was enormous, was delicious and the place had a cozy vibe. Loved the neighbourhood.

Vegan restaurant - Edit
The restaurant is totally vegan close to the city centre and Gare Centrale. It's small and it can be quite full at lunch hour. But the food is very tasty and the portions are big and filling. We had noodles with vegetables and spring rolls and rice with "chicken." We received also a fortune cookie with our deserts.

A little underwhelming. - Edit
I really wanted to love the food here. It's been on my list of places to visit in Brussels for a while now, but I don't get here very often. It was super busy on a Thursday evening, which is great to see, and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Space is tight and it's a bit noisy, so not somewhere to go on a romantic date! We ordered the prawns & calamari to start. It looked great but the calamari was overcooked, and neither dish tasted of much. I've had amazing vegan seafood in London at Unity Diner and in Brighton at No Catch Co, so perhaps I've been spoilt? I ordered the Crispy Chicky Bowl marked on the menu as spicy as I love spicy food, but this dish really lacked taste & I ended up asking for Sriracha. My friend had Lin's Rice Noodle Bowl which she ended up covering in Sriracha too.
Read moreI cook a lot of Asian food at home and have eaten in some authentic Asian vegan restaurants & supper clubs in the UK, so perhaps this is why I was expecting more. I noticed they've opened a bao place not far from Liu Lin called Lil Bao. If I get the chance I might try and pop in while I'm here and see how it compares.

Super good! - Edit
We shared Lins Noodle Bowl, the calamares and the tempura and it was all very delicious. I was really impressed how they veganized everything. It was very full when we arrived but we only had to wait shortly and already received a warm welcome and a menu while waiting. I definitely recommend to try it 😊 #Veganuary

Lovely, welcoming and someway modern - Edit
I know nothing of the Taiwanese street food or the vegan one. I have enjoyed it and that's all I can say.
Read moreI haven't missed something and I tried something different.
Food was tasty, palatable, it felt healthy with all veggies and tofu. Calamars have been a nice surprise.
The place is not too noisy and the service was welcoming, which makes it even more a nice experience.
Even more personal perceptions follow. Interior and ambiance are contemporary, easy going, a bit modern and cold but still cozy, sameway hip. It feels like people and food are at the center of it. A street bar as they say

I think everyone in Brussels is already obsessed with Liu Lin, so this 5 stars review is mostly for the tourist. Go. You won't regret it.

Delicious chicken - Edit
We visited in the evening on a weekday and were lucky to get a table as it was pretty full. We had the Lalot Skewer and crispy chicken bowl. Both was really delicious and felt surprisingly light and not so fatty as we would have expected. So 5 stars for the food but not overall as the place itself was not so cosy. The table at the entrance was a bit cold and the floor wasn't even.

Never tried prawn crackers before, but today they have shown why people like them. Had the noodles and noodle soup between us, comes with spring rolls and dumplings and is very filling, as well as delicious. Really enjoyed the whole experience! Would recommend a trip here.

This place was filled when we get there for a dinner for 2. Lovely to see vegan businesses doing so well.
