Great pasta - Edit
Finally a good restaurant that serves amazing pasta! I don’t eat Brussels sprouts at all but I ate everything on my plate because the truffle sauce was just so good! I wanted to try their seasonal menu but they were out of it, but I’m definitely going back to try the other items on their menu. The staff is really kind and friendly. They also speak English.

This restaurant was one of the highlights of my Seoul visit. The staff is very friendly, the space is cosy and you can see into the kitchen. Had the crispy mushroom bowl and loved it.

I want to love this place. The owner does everything herself. The space is inviting and well designed even though its small. The menu is creative and unique for Korea. However the food taste just isnt my favorite. The deop-bap, lumpia, and curry were quite bland. In fact I find the curry even a little bitter. I am not someone who enjoys salty food and I dont mind bitterness but it was just sooo lacking. The lumpia would be better without the beshmel sauce, i feel it just masks the flavor of the kimchi. Everything is really fresh however. A few menu items are seasonal.
Read moreThe laksa here is okay and it's very filling, so in that aspect I can recommend it, but its not that tasty. I did enjoy the roasted red pepper pasta but the portion was so small for the price, and it had about a tablespoon of beyond meat crumbles on it which was very sweet. Most of the portions are pretty small except the laksa.
The owner is really kind and seems passionate about what she does but I just wouldn't choose to come here again, but if invited I wouldn't refuse either. I hope I will enjoy whatever new menu items are released

We arrived a little after five and there were already other people. Due to the small space we sat at the corner table. I had the mushroom bowl and it was simply delightful! You have to get your water and silverware by yourself so I took one star off.

I went with a friend for dinner and was surprised at how good the food was!! The staff was very friendly also and we liked the atmosphere a lot. Pretty calm. The waitress explained to us how to eat the dish to better taste its flavor, which was very kind of her.

i see this place always being hyped up on insta but it wasn’t that great to me. the menu i wanted was sold out, so i’d like to go back to try it next time but i wouldn’t order what i had again. they also add new menu items from time to time and they always at least look good in pics. very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere

Delicious Options + Affordable - Edit
This is a cozy restaurant near Hyochang Park Station. I went with a friend for dinner on a weeknight and it wasn’t busy. The chef was able to help in both English and Korean. The three meals and side dish that were available were delicious and filling. The chef made sure to explain how best to eat the meal to best enjoy the flavors and textures. The entire experience was wonderful. You are welcome to pay after eating. They also serve coffee, tea, soda, and wine. There were cashews in one dish that we tried - if you are allergic to nuts or gluten, make sure to ask about each dish! I highly recommend this place.

I love places with small menus who put thought into each dish to make them unlike what you can get anywhere else. Little Gangster does this. They have only 3 menu items and will soon put 1 side on the menu. All are carefully prepared. We had the new kimchi aranchini lumpia (sort of like a spring roll) and the fried mushroom bowl. Truly unique. Will be back to try other dishes. Owner is also a super nice person.

Amazing Staff and Food - Edit
The owner was incredibly nice (speaks English!), offering me a free drink and a little chat. The place is cozy, maybe a bit hard to find without the map, and offers three meals. I ordered the recommended crispy mushrooms and the dish was amazing and creative. 100% recommendation.
